After a home warranty company sent over an incompetent plumber who wanted to charge us $1000 for things we didn't need, Patrick came by and took care of the stoppage quickly and efficiently. Patrick, the owner/operator, is a keeper! In the plumbing world, we had almost given up on ever finding our forever plumber! So grateful! Patrick is smart, conscientious, honest, efficient and a true professional. For example, he replaced our gas cooktop recently. The new cooktop was just a smidge too big but Patrick cut the granite opening slightly bigger on the spot. He covered everything in plastic and worked more cleanly than the folks who installed the granite! We are also planning to repipe our nearing-their-useful-life supply pipes BEFORE they cause catastrophic damage. Patrick responded to my voicemail within 5 minutes and fit me in to his busy schedule for the very same day. When he got held up at a prior job he called to let me know that he would be late. Not only was Patrick reliable and professional, he did a fantastic job of fixing the problem!! While he was here, I also asked Patrick if he could take a look at my tankless water heater as my hot water kept running out during showers.Patrick was more than happy to do so and even called the manufacturer when he diagnosed a problem for service confirmation. Patrick Stanton is an amazingly good plumber! He is smart, skillful, careful, and efficient. That keeps the costs reasonable as well. He is very experienced and can be trusted to do exactly what is needed (not more or less) and will clearly explain the problem and the solution. He is equally competent doing heavy-duty jobs (replacing water heaters, pressure regulator valves, recirculating pumps, re-piping) and doing specialized jobs requiring finesse such as repairing or installing Grohe European faucets. He has done all of the above and more for my family at 4 different residences. We couldn't be happier with his work. After some bad experiences in the past with other plumbers, it is a huge relief to me to finally have a great plumber to call if I need one. Called about an audible leak under my house. I called Stanton plumbing after another plumber had issues with some animal droppings near the repair site then recommended a water damage team to clean the area to clear the droppings and potential damage to the structure for added cost of $2900. Thanks but no thanks. The folks at Stanton scheduled an appointment later in the day, a Sunday and Patrick arrived earlier than scheduled, surveyed the damage and offered an hourly rate that was extremely reasonable. He also noticed a potential second problem and included that repair within the hourly rate. He took special precautions with cleanliness and safety covering the path from outside to my crawl space and when the job was done he cleaned the area thoroughly. He even cleaned up after another plumber who had done a similar repair previously who left plastic wrappers and plastic sheeting under my house. I will certainly use Stanton Plumbing again and recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing services! read more

I was trying to repair two leaking supply lines under our bathroom sink when I learned that I needed a special tool (and more expertise). After visiting Ace Hardware, I learned that it would require about one hour of labor for an experienced plumber. Another plumber came out and gave me an outrageous quote for the repairs. Stanton quickly returned my call, helped me understand the repair work I needed, confirmed my labor estimate, and quoted me a reasonable hourly rate. He also offered to come out after hours if I could not reconnect our water. Unfortunately, he was fully booked the next two days and I could not wait. I am writing this review because Stanton quoted reasonable rates and assisted me even when they were not getting the job. I will keep their phone number for next time. read more

Patrick Stanton did a very good job for us today upgrading our water line. He installed a locking hose bib and a 3/4" service at the meter (replacing a 5/8" service) and at our service entrance he installed a pressure regulator (the line had never had one) and an additional hose bib for our drip irrigation hook-up. --- His bid for the work was in the ballpark with a couple of others that we got and we chose him after meeting him in person. News Flash: It doesn't matter if someone is TALENTED or skillful, if he's self-absorbed and rude. You know those good surgeons who are egotistical, and have bad bedside manners?? Yep, same here. Easy, no brainer, 5 stars. Patrick worked a miracle for us. After flushing the toilet and taking a shower my wife exited to a pool of water on the bathroom floor. I immediately went to yelp to locate a plumber. I tried a few plumbers but none of them were able to come out or wanted to charge a small fortune. Patrick was not only available but gave me two calls prior to ever setting foot on my property to assess my situation and give me a heads up on when he would be here. He showed up on time and immediately went to work. He was professional, kind, and personable. He tried for about 2 hours to get the block out of our main drain. He would check in with me every so often just to let me know what he was doing. His honesty was unexpected and very welcomed. After two and half hours he came out of the bathroom covered in sweat and asked me if I wanted the "bad news" or the "bad news" first. He let me know that due to our plumbing figuration he wasn't able to successfully unblock the main from the bathroom. He told me that a main clean out would have to be done and that would cost a pretty penny. He went on to say that he wouldn't charge me for time beyond an hour if he couldn't resolve the problem. He actually said that he wasn't in the business of taking money from his customers! When was the las time you heard that? Anyway he says he is going to try one more thing. This guy goes up on top of the roof and snakes the main through the vent! WTF! This guy is McGyver or something. He was able to clear the block from the vent. I think i forgot to mention he showed up at 5:00 pm and worked until 9'ish. This guy after working his ass off for 3 and hours, saying thank you to me all along the way, actually gives the bathroom a once over clean up job to sanitize the mess of a plumbing job. I couldn't believe that. Once he finished up he charged me for parts, clean out, and labor of 3 and half hours, though he was really here working for about 4. He waved the overtime fee too! Patrick is hard working, professional, honest, kind, and ethical. I had to share a beer with him afterwards. Make Patrick and Stanton Plumbing your first choice on any plumbing need.
