I have to give a big Thank you to Stanton Smiles Dentistry. Dr. Magar and the endodontist Dr. Magar were great (they are brothers) . Last week I suddenly found my self with a swollen face and a whole lot of pain. They took me right in at 8 AM and did xrays and found the problem - a double abscess with two teeth. I was treated for the infection and my teeth prepared for 2 root canals (2 teeth). I went back a week later and the two root canals were completed in one day by Dr. Magar the endodontist. the permanent crowns were made and placed all in one day. The front desk receptionists were kind and the assistants were very efficient and friendly too. I felt I was in the hands of professionals. I will be back soon (not too soon) for a cleaning and a whole mouth exam. read more

My girlfriend told me about this place. I came In on Wednesday because my wisdom tooth was killing me. Grace and Hannah rushed to help get my insurance sorted. Then I got my x ray done. After that dr Iman consulted with me and scheduled an appointment with surgeon dr Maghen. All in the same day!! Have not seen this type of customer service in awhile. Everyone was really cool. The appointment for my wisdom tooth removal was on Friday, two days after my first visit! Came in and cracked a few jokes with dr maghen. Don't remember much after that. He put me to sleep within 10 seconds. Woke up and was in my friends car. First day after teeth removal, lots of blood but not pain. Second day no blood nor pain. If you ask me I think they have some high level technology. It's quite unbelievable. Overall 5 stars plus. I am going to remove all of my teeth because it was so enjoyable. Cheers. read more

I used to go to Marina Smiles Dentistry at Long Beach. But when Dr. Iman moved to Stanton, I followed him. It is so complicated to find a good dentist that I don't want to loose him. The first time I saw him, I was so stressed (to not say in panic), and he arrived to relax me and to put me in confidence. I like a lot Dr. Iman for a lot of things. First, he is very nice and he is very careful to not put me in pain. Then, he explains to me each " teeth care " he is doing. He is very patient and he cares a lot about me to understand each step he will do on my teeth. And, he did the impossible: I am not anxious anymore when I have to see him! Why their automatic response as it seems will ask review writers to call and discuss the matter, why not they call and reply directly. So do not get fool because of they are responding and taking responsibility. It is just sort of shrugging off the issue. Dr. would have taken care this matter there and there by showing politeness instead of provoking way snatching bib and throwing the patient out of facility and no one amongst the staff had courage or to show professionalism to calm him when he was abusive filled by staff that this patient is not letting our cash register sing our favorite song? Dr did not respect my age nor my health know I am a patient with high blood pressure. Nor heard and or understood my dilemma that why I need deep cleaning again when I had it done recently or explaining me that they may have not done good job or something? I am shocked the experience I had today. I came spoke to Dr who instead of taking her time to see herself what I need asking me what I need. That is considered Rude. I explained I had been to dentist in August and few things they have been said. I wish you would do your assessment and not to get anything in head. I want x-ray cleaning and new relationship build. I see below few reviews they stated of office trying to put their hands in deep, yes it happened to me. I had my deep cleaning done in August. When I told staff that I just want cleaning and service is covered by Insurance that's all for now and I will need to see endodontic as I had already got deep cleaning. She told me she has to see if Hygienist is available, who is busy now. Now if I had paid $440 Hygienist would be available? I told her I have appointment for cleaning; she did not like it and walked away saying "she will dismiss me and will call Dr. Magor. Obviously she filled Dr. Magor I was expecting Dr. Magor will come with professionalism and ask what seems to be issue. But I was shocked and the way Dr. Magor acted, who came very rudely snatched the bib off of me and telling "I had been rude to the staff get out of here, he embarrassed me infront of other people like throwing me out of office with complete unprofessional way. He should have asked me why I do not want to get the services done and build the relationship; instead he came with very hostility causing me to raise my blood pressure. I am hypertension person as recorded in my chart. He was very disrespectful because I refuse to let his office charge me more. They were asking me on the top of the insurance to pay $440 and this was beginning and who knows what was next. I was upset as I came for my xray exam and regular cleaning, but here I am dealing with people who made me look bad instead of realizing that since I already head deep cleaning within six months why I need this again. But we all know all this fancy office, charity and all is not done by them it is the money we clients pay directly or through the insurance. Dr. Magor did not show any professionalism and took staffs side without hearing me and or giving me chance. If you have lots of money and good insurance go there make their facility more fancy pansy and they will do charity with your money and look good. I do understand some may have given them 5 stars fine, but remember it is once when crash landing happens and that really matters and shows true colors. This behavior mentality deserves no star at all. You do support your staff but remember you, your staff and facility is by and from clients not from you. Because someone does not want to get the services you want sale at this time and pay what you are asking that does not make that person rude, nor their refusal should make you unprofessional And you will see below standard scripted Auto response from facility call us to discuss... STAY AWAY! Office charged me over a $1000 worth of dental work. I called my insurance and my insurance told me I should not be charged anything. I went back to the office and called my insurance from the office. We went over the billing and sure enough I was reimbursed my money. I paid for a crown out of pocket that and was told it was guaranteed for five years. I went back because the crown broke after one year and they told me I'm out of luck. It's been 8 months since i started having my tooth implant process and after 2 failed (bad) crowns for the same tooth, i'm still waiting for the 3rd crown to be put on. Multiple emails sent to the office but no response in writing (seems like the office prefers verbal communication to written to avoid accountability). Phone calls to the office manager don't get response/call back as promised, thus I need to call them back second or third time to get the answer. This is a looong awaited review but it must be made. As most of you, I saw all these 5 star reviews and couldn't believe there was a dental place that is this good and accepts HMO insurance. So I decided let's give it a go. My first time here, I scheduled a cleaning appointment. My initial introduction to dr Iman was that he was arrogant and very condescending. While examining my teeth, he stated I had 2 cavities that needed an onlay which comes out to a whopping $1500. lol mind you, I go to my dental cleaning regularly and my previous doctor didn't mention all this and had any cavities I had filled (I used to have PPO which had way better providers). I kindly declined this treatment and asked if he can just do a regular composite filling, he quickly said no and that I needed this "onlay" due to my situation. I've never heard of this before so of course my instinct was not to go with the first thing this doctor says and do more research & get a second opinion. He then also stated I needed my wisdom teeth out and that I needed bone grafting on all of them which comes out to $4000. I've never even heard of bone grafting from any of my doctors so this seems like a money grab and said i only wanted the removal. At this point I'm already uncomfortable with all these "treatment plans" and just wanted a cleaning done. I declined this treatment again and he got aggressive with how I NEED it otherwise I might have nerve damage due to my "situation". Again, these scaring tactics can pressure some to go with his ridiculous treatment plans. So I ended up just getting a cleaning that day and they try getting me to pay for some fluoride flush that was $30 (don't get it, it's a joke, they literally just put some gel on the top of ur teeth and call it a day). Dr iman was not happy he couldn't get thousands off of my since I have hmo. I decided to get a second opinion for my wisdom teeth and and went to lotus dental and they were able to get it all out with no need for bone grafting and I healed all fine! I also went back to my old dentist (paid out of pocket to not deal with coming back to this crap place) and he informed me that I did NOT need an onlay and I didn't even have any cavities.. it was just STAINING!!! He also said you only need a bone graft if you plan on getting implants where it was removed but it's not needed when you remove your wisdom teeth since you're not gonna replace it. People please do your research before committing to any treatment plans they give you here. They are just all for money and not your well being. All these 5 start reviews had to be paid for.
