Husband drove over there to send a fax. They charged five dollars (fine) but when the fax wouldn't go through they said, basically, "sucks to be you. This is self serve." Store not busy employees standing around. Shrug. Won't go back. He went down the street, cost was 2.50, and they solved the problem. read more

I purchased a printer from Staples with a four year warranty. It failed in less than two years. They failed to make good on their warranty. I feel they should repair or replace the equipment with the remaining two years on the warranty. They offered a store credit good only at there store at a loss to me with the return of the equipment of close to $100. At this time I'm out of the cost of the printer the cost of returning it for warranty, cost of the 4 year warranty. They have been jockeying me around now for 2 month. My husband and I went here to purchase a printer....we were pleased with the selection and I think we got a fair price. We head to the register and we are helped by a young lady who it seemed was a fairly new employee, but she was friendly and trying her best. I wanted to pay part cash and part debit card. She was unsure how to proceed and called for help. This is where it gets uncomfortable. The lady that came to help her was unbelievable. She was so rude to the new employee and chastised her in front of us. She was telling her, it was wrong because she " did this" and " why didn't she do that" , I mean being soooo unprofessional that my husband and I were uncomfortable. The new employee was apologetic and we told her not to worry, all of us were new to something at one time or another and to take her time. I was having stationary printed for two, little pen pals and I receive a call about copyright infringement on characters. Emily refused to print the stationary sets. I was flabbergasted and so disappointed, because let's be realistic. EVERY kid has character themed birthday invites, thank you cards, etc. Technically, they are all probably copyright infringement. But once again, let's be realistic... They get printed!! I redid the order at a different Staples location and ZERO issues. No harassing phone calls. My stationary set was printed with no problems. Come on, Jackson Staples. Really? I had loved using your print service. Now I'm pretty peeved about it. You're gonna loose out on local business with the refusal to print things. read more

She took the time to walk me through downloading the app, logging in and connecting my existing Staples account. She was patient and pleasant the entire time despite my fumbling around. I've left reviews before for Staples and once again I have to say that their copy & print center always impresses me! Over the years I have frequented Staples for office supplies or for photocopies, as I own a local business. The girls that work in Copy & Print are miracle workers. I can always count on great quality prints done quickly and exactly to my specifications. Zoe and I think the other girl's name is April? do a fantastic job and are always very friendly. We were looking for a basic, lower budget laptop for our kids to use for online homework and a physics simulator program. The sales associate was super helpful and suggested a discounted model and reminded us of their 14 day return policy in case it didn't work out. The computer was fine, except the physics program didn't work properly, as we needed a slightly more powerful system. We returned it to the store exactly 14 days later, and we were given great service. Our kids had lost the box, and even so, we had no trouble with the return. The store manager let us know there will be a sale coming up, so we could come back in a day or two to get a discount on an upgraded computer. It was really thoughtful of them to let us know that. I have only used the copy/print center. It is the only place within 20 miles that have all those services in one place. Customer service has always been great with how busy they are. I have been there both weekdays and weekends between 10:00a-3:00p over the past two months on three different occasions. My recommendations is to come early because it's less busy. read more

Things went wrong the second I touched a tablet-tether, not yanked, touched, and then a freakin' siren went off...jeez I just came in to get an SD card, and look at a few tablets, didn't expect to be treated unnecessarily like a shop-lifter. Prices and sales are good. .I have had some AWESOME STAFF..but, I bought a stapler there and first one didn't work and second one also. Normally staples gives me great customer service, however this particular night I asked for some assistance to find a specific kind of tape. No one was in the store but the employee was very uninterested in helping me. He told me they didn't carry it. It took me 10 minutes but I found it. Horrible customer service. I sensed an attitude from the guy who work there but I didn't get his name I bought a security surveillance system for my home the guy acted like he knew about it but didn't know anything. The thing that really got me was it was $634 out the door I paid with my debit card and obviously it requires a pin. After the whole transaction was over this judgemental asshole has the nerve to ask me for my ID and give me a weird look like he thanks I stole my card or something. Lmao. In the spirit of fairness and full transparency I had a very good recent experience with this Staples (this month). More on that latter. Back on 1/8/2016 (see review below) I slammed the then current and former management team of this store and region for how they treated my favorite copy center long time employee Carrie. So, in all fairness I felt compelled to comment them when their manager Donna Astle and her staff went over and beyond to help me get a very specific office chair they did not have from another Staples in the Valley region. When it came in they did not charge me shipping and honored the price from the other store. One of their staff on duty helped me bring out the chair to the car, my hand was injured at the time, and they loaded it into the back of our SUV for me. I bought a computer at staples and that was fine. However, I was talked into a warranty through Square Trade. I was told this was a good warranty and it covered pretty much everything that wasn't due to dropping it... Well, do not waste your time with anything that has a warranty through Square Trade. The will not cover your issue .... they read from the script and won't answer a straight question..... they just keep reading.... I'll be buying another new computer somewhere else and I won't be buying anyone's warranty...... read more

Went looking for an external hard-drive to add to the DVR. I picked out a Seagate and the Staples rep assured me it would work on our DISH DVR. Turns out the DVR needs a power supply in addition to the USB and the Seagate did not...what does this rep know! Back to Staples. Replace it with a Western Digital brand and the store manager assured me it will work with our DVR. Guess what? The USB cord I had will not fit the new unit and no USB cord was included in the package. Now it's back to Staples for the cord and they are out of stock. I find the cord at Best Buy and it turns out the hard-drive is only for computers! Calling Western Digital confirms this unit would never work on a DVR. The point is, if it's not paper or pens, don't trust Staples in Jackson for any tech knowledge. Nice people but they are fooling themselves if they think they know their products. read more
