Interesting one here. Cracked my laptop screen and had to disable touchscreen. Look around to get…read moreit fixed, people love Device Surgeon. OK, let's check it out. We talked for awhile, got the problem diagnosed, the guy at the desk called the owner to confirm the part being ordered, great. Get to a week later, I call back about the part because I need it replaced. "Oh, $, we never got that ordered. I was mowing my lawn when he called me and..." Oh boy. Not good. Let's review: * Immediately refunded my deposit * Continued investigation and found they DID get it ordered * Did not demand a new deposit * Continued tracking the package, even though it seemed to be lost - well beyond the expected Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. * It arrived while I was at work, really didn't have time to fix it. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully. Thought it survived at first but later on the phone completely died and I was pretty convinced all my photos and stuff were gone for good. Someone told me to check this place out and I'm glad I listened. Alper was the one helping me and somehow got the phone working long enough to transfer everything over to my new phone. I honestly didn't think there was any chance of saving it. Super nice guy great service and they seriously saved me from losing a ton of important stuff. Couldn't thank them enough and definitely recommend this place.

Very happy I Fix Your Cell is nearby. Very knowledgeable, helpful with additional info to keep my phone running like it should. They've helped me several times in the past few years. If I could give 0 stars, I would…read more I went in to have the front screen on my iPhone 17 Pro replaced. When I got my phone back, I immediately noticed that the display looked completely different. The screen has a blue tint and doesn't display true blacks, which was especially noticeable since I use Dark Mode. I compared it side-by-side with another iPhone, and the difference was obvious. In addition, there's now a noticeable black border around the edge of the screen, even though the original display is edge-to-edge. On top of that, my phone no longer holds a charge, even though it was purchased new a few months prior. At no point before the repair was I told that they would be installing a lower-quality generic screen. Only after we returned to explain the issues were we told that a higher-quality screen was available as an option, but since we had paid for the generic replacement, there was nothing they could do. For $165, I was left with a phone that looks worse, performs worse, and wasn't restored to its original quality. If you're going to advertise that you can "fix" a phone, customers should be told upfront if the replacement parts will significantly change the appearance and performance of their device.
