Just dropped off my Amazon return and asked for a receipt for a high ticket return. Clerks points to a sign that says they no longer provide receipts. Then I hear a manager chime in that if I have a problem, I can talk to him. I ask if my item come back as never received, I talk to him? Contradicting what he just said, "nope, we're a third party. We have no correlation other than scanning items in". What a smug and rude thing to say from a manager. What did I do wrong, other than to ask a clarifying question??? It's no mystery why this store's ratings are so poor. It's was a slap in the face. I'll never return or shop in your dying store next to no customers. Calling fellow teachers, parents or anyone who needs office/school supplies. If you have an Amazon return go here! Reason being is you get a coupon for like 15-30% for supplies and ink and such. It has helped me for back to school especially when they have those sales. So the value is worth it! Every time I have been the service has been nice and quick compared to UPS which the line takes forever and you don't get a darn coupon lol So yeah if you want to go here even for passport photos, they are quick to help too! I wanted to get a really small printing job done of 20 pages of a PDF file simple print black-and-white nothing fancy. This Staples printing department price was 300% higher than the UPS store over by the Walmart at Tulalip. That's ridiculous to just pull up a PDF file and hit print and 60 seconds later the job is done. I question the lady on the phone on the pricing and she made it sound like some big long production of printing set up in this order in that order in this department in that department and I'm like lady you just pull up the PDF file and hit print. The guy his coworker at the UPS store had the job completely finished and in hand before I had paid the two dollars at the cash register. read more

We went to get passport photos and the photos were dark and grainy. We could not use them when applying for our passports and had to get other photos done at a different place. Waste of time and money. read more

Rude staff. When you work with the public, that denies you the right to act like a jerk to your customers. Don't correct your customers when they mistakenly identify your "tech center" and the customer service counter". And when someone suggests you should get a closed sign for the tech center, don't state, we don't have a closed sign. Dude, you work at a store that SELLS them! I would select zero stars if it was an option. Went in to Have a small job printed, we waited at the copy center for 15 minutes and the employee who's name was Devante, had head phones in his ears and wouldn't even acknowledge we were there. Finally when I called him over, he rolled his eyes and said "yes?" I then explain to him what I needed done, he told me he was to busy and radioed for someone else to come over. That's when Josh came over, and while I was trying to explain to him the interaction with him, he interrupted us and proceeded to tell me that they were understaffed, and he wasn't being disrespectful to us. (which he wasn't even around for the interaction) and told us to have a better day trying to find somewhere else to print out what we needed. Worst costumer service ever read more

Purchased online so this store really has nothing to do with the review. Purchased a laptop from this store and purchased the extended warranty to go with it. Had a breakdown, went to the provided website and filled out a claim. They said I had to call, I did. After 45 minutes I finally convinced these people this was a physical breakdown and cannot be fixed over the phone. Their recommendation is I send the laptop to New York for a screen replacement. Big waste of time shipping. Requested a more local, they gave me Tennessee. This is a simple screen replacement that can be done at the Staples I purchased from in about a day. But after the additional $300 warranty purchase Staples could care less about customer convenience. For this reason Staples has lost any upgrade or replacement purchase for computer related product from me, which amounts to 2 laptops and 1 desktops about every 2-3 years. So went into the Staples here in Marysville with the wife the other day to get 50 pages of inspirational quotes and pictures laminated. No, not for my home to keep me motivated through out the day. Mrs. Larry is an elementary school teacher locally and because school was starting soon lots of teachers were using the school laminator. She figured we could run in and just pay for them to be laminated so they could go up on the wall in her class and be ready for school. The kicker here is they wanted to charge us $150.00 to laminate them. Now I'm not complaining about paying to have some work done but holy macaroni. When I asked why it was so expensive I was rudely told that laminate and other adhesives have gone up in price because of the new Chinese tariffs. I guess its our Presidents fault not Staples for the high costs. Now because of the Pres the children in Mrs.Larry's class won't get motivated this year. :( Well Chinese tariffs and Staples be darned. I can't let that happen so I got on my laptop and ordered 100 laminating sheets from Amazon for a whopping $11.70 with free shipping. I think after this experience with this Staples Mrs. Larry is going to do more online shopping for school supplies. Ordered a large 4-drawer file cabinet and a few cases of paper and other items for delivery. Said it would be delivered on 2/4 and signature required. Then they changed it to 2/5 signature required. So I got stuck waiting for 2-days to be there to sign. Finally, it arrived, the driver stopped with the file cabinet and said: "sign here." I asked can you bring the file cabinet and boxes inside please, just inside the door. He said fine, but you need to sign first. I signed and then he left. I called out to him and he either waived me off or flipped me off, I can't tell. But it's messed up enough to know that I will not be ordering from Staples anymore. I needed a couple of pictures printed. When I walked in, the clerk was sitting, relaxed playing with his cell phone. I told him what I wanted and he started asking for my name, address, phone, etc. I asked why. He said so we can call you when it's ready. I said you can't do it now? You don't look busy. He said oh sure, but I'll have to charge you $2 extra for a rush. Lol. I said I think I'll spend the $2 on gas going to your competitors. Wow! This place has the largest and most amazing selection of office products. Also, computers, printers etc. Very large, clean and well organized. It is truly the superstore for office supplies. Service was superior. We could have been in and out quickly but the place was so much fun we had to browse for awhile. A great experience. read more

This is a decent place to go to if you are in need of some office supplies. It is conveniently located in downtown Marysville, with ample parking. The store is well kept and organized. The product select is extensive, although pricing is a bit higher than competitors. I have done a lot of comparison shopping with back to school items, and Staples is usually on the higher end. I will definitely come here if I need a specialty item, or a few products. My main supply spending happens at other stores, though, because of pricing. read more
