Such a fun way to spend an afternoon. The food took a little bit to arrive, they came hot and the general consensus is the food is very good, we expected usual pool hall reheated good but it was much much better than that. The place is very clean, tables were clean and well spaced out. Cues were straight, balls were newish. Besides pool, there was darts, ping pong, cornhole and lots of board games. There are two main areas: The bar is in the main area where people enter, and it has a many old school games that were commonly found in video game arcades from the 1970s through 1990s, and there is another big room with lots of chairs and couches, and a lot more quirky decorations scattered throughout the room. Outside food was catered, so I wasn't aware that Joystick Gamebar also sold food. The video games were fun. Although one of our directors brought lots of rolls of quarters, one of the managers made it so that all of our employees were able to play the games without inserting any quarters. This was probably a great thing for us, since I noticed most of my colleagues were really awful at playing video games. One of my favorite video games, Galaga, was available, so, after getting killed early in the game a few times, I ended up being on the high scores list! Had a fun time!
