I first thought they were located in the shopping center but it's actually across the street. Was greeted upon entering and sat immediately. Everyone was welcoming and friendly to me... I was a little nervous from reading previous reviews until I saw my FOODIE BFF SISTAAa also stamped this shop in a previous POSITIVE review that she posted :))) *Whoooooo-saaaaaa* I'm happy with the way Lisa did my nails. So much, I decided to get a pedicure too :))) This could definitely be my go to shop for a day of self care- not to mention I came at the perfect time because the only one being serviced was me. Lisa even grabbed my socks and put them back on after she dried off my feet! And I guess she appreciated her tip because she gave me the biggest hug as I was leaving :) I will definitely come back here. I asked for short almond nails and got a confused stare -- I should've walked out right then. Instead, the tech yelled across the salon in another language, and someone yelled back that the service was $70. Loud enough that three other customers turned to stare at me. I was still in my work clothes, having left two hours early to squeeze this in before full mommy-mode weekend duty. I stayed anyway. Big mistake. She glued the tips on crooked -- sticking straight out instead of curving naturally. Filed them into random shapes and sizes. Zoned out every time I asked her to fix something. I gave up on gel and red tips and settled for clear polish just to escape and fix it somewhere else later. I should've asked for her license. I should've left when they yelled the price across the room. I should've left a dozen times. Instead I sat there, fixing my own cuticles and rubbing in my own lotion, just to get a barely passable basic set. Worst salon I've ever stepped into. Raggedy awning, dusty front desk, dust-caked acrylic display untouched for who knows how long. If they don't care about their own shop, why would they care about my nails? Lesson learned: some businesses don't exist to serve you well -- they exist to take your $100 while you're just trying to steal an hour of "self-care" before going back to taking care of everyone else.

They were only two people working in there, and both seemed really nice. And they were using Amazon music to play some amazing tunes. Amazon music is my jam! It wasn't a problem for me personally, but I felt bad about it getting on the seats, it came that high haha. And here I liked that I didn't have to move to a table for the manicure portion! It made it truly feel like a spa experience. The job was great, but later on I realized that some cuticles were handled a little more roughly than others. But she said she was having some serious pain with her hands. Hope she feels better! Anyways, I would return, because I overall like the vibe of this place better than my usual spot.

Before we even started my fill, I specifically asked Bi if there was enough time to do a design, and he told me yes. I had just come from the hospital and simply wanted to treat myself, feel pretty, and try something new with my nails. During the appointment, however, I was made to feel like an inconvenience because he was running into his next appointment. Ironically, I also had to wait when I arrived, so I was surprised to be treated as though I was responsible for the schedule running behind. What upset me the most was Bi telling me that I should have Tina do my nails next time. After years of coming to him, that comment felt unnecessary, dismissive, and disrespectful. If there was not enough time for the design, I would have appreciated him telling me upfront instead of agreeing to it and then making me feel guilty. To make matters worse, Bi began speaking to his coworkers in his native language while looking at me, and it gave me the clear impression that he was talking about me. Whether or not that was the case, it made me feel uncomfortable, singled out, and disrespected. Professionalism means addressing concerns directly with the customer, not creating an environment where they feel they are being discussed. The unfortunate part is that Bi actually did an amazing job on my nails. However, instead of remembering the quality of his work, I will remember how unwelcome and disrespected I felt during the appointment. Customer service matters just as much as technical skill. After this experience, I will not be returning to Capella Nails. I hope Bi and management reflect on this interaction so other loyal customers are not made to feel the same way.
