Simple traditional diner all the locals come here. For lunch breakfast and dinner. Open late and they serve breakfast all day. Prices are a little steep but big quantities. Good kids menu with $8.45 for most meals and wide variety. (Oct 2023) Lots of wraps and the fajitas are also delicious with a lot of meat. Good quick service too

I'm sorry but this is so stupid it's a salad people.its all grown locally you should feel so ashamed...

You cannot justify charging this stupid price for salad. Just close your doors.there is no way lettuce cost you this much...

Great service. Given a tasty fruit substitution instead if hash browns. Perfect portions.

I enjoyed going there until I found a hair in my pancakes. Check your food before putting it in your mouth!

If you want to leave full, go for it. If you want to leave happy that you chose this restaurant over something else, skip it.

Someone told me to sit where I wanted so I headed outside. A waitress asked me what I wanted to drink and I told her that "I don't know what you have." After a brief wait the menus arrived. Having gluten allergies and not being able to eat raw vegetables, I had some challenges. The waitress was very helpful in recommending the BLT sandwich... I haven't had a BLT in a long time and it was OUTSTANDING! I really needed to eat some vegetables...I asked if I could order the grilled veggies but not on a sandwich (there was a grilled veggie sandwich). No problem! A side of grilled veggies! I also ordered an iced tea. This food was the most delicious I've had in a LONG time! The sandwich was perfectly toasted (lettuce and tomatoes were my treat for the day), the grilled vegetables were delicious and NOT dripping in butter or sauce...just plan!!!, and the iced tea was dark and perfectly unsweetened! Absolutely delicious!!!

A fork would be appreciated with that order. I usually get the brown rice and tofu meal which is so delicious and unique. The restaurant is usually very busy at lunch time so it can feel cramped, but the food makes it worth it.

Issuing a rare 5 stars here, but The Beehive is truly special…read more On our low-stimulus, off-the-grid vacation, a trip down from the mountain had us stop in for a late lunch/early dinner right at 4pm. We couldn't have prepared for the quality, and memorable nature of the meal we were served. Cannot recommend this enough for readers. Arrival and Seating: First, the welcome was warm and the service attentive--even at the start of the shift with a lightly-staffed crew. We were greeted in a warm manner by a fellow wearing a SF Giants cap (always a good sign), and invited to choose our table. We sat indoors on a warm day (it was about 95ºF) window-side, and enjoys wicker and bee-themed decor. The chairs had a relaxed shape that had me slouching (in comfort) immediately. Drinks: As I was driving, my partner ordered to his palate--which included two mezcal drinks. The first was the Tropical Storm, which had a great balance of passionfruit, pineapple and lime against a well chosen mezcal--smoky, but not acrid as can sometimes burden the spirit. The second bevvy was the She Devil and was a spirit-forward drink combining smoky mezcal and Xila with herbaceous Strega and Aperol (or Amaro in course case), balanced against lime. All delicious, as I confirmed with poison-tester sips. Tapas: We compared the tuna; on the Smoky Ahi Tuna, the flavor of mezcal was incredibly unique; on the Chicharrón de Aton, the texture of the fried tuna was nice and chewy, along with a spicy Fresno chili garnish. Entrees: My partner had the burger, which was juicy and served evenly cooked for medium--which we found desirable. An unlikely star on the plate, however, was the papayas braves substituted as a side. Their sweet berry glaze (blackberry?) made them almost like candy, and was perfectly balanced with a chèvre aioli. I went with the Chicken Poblano Pasta (never had fettuccine with corn sauce, I thought), and whoo boy was I in for a treat. The sauce was verdant on account of the poblano pepper, which lent a great flavor. Balanced against it was the corn, which was both grounding and provided a pesto-like texture. It was a hearty proportion with the large grilled chicken breast, but we came hungry and I left no crumbs. Last Thoughts This modest little restaurant in a modest little Northern California town was so good it became a memorable experience in itself on our modest little vacation. We left content (and full), and feeling good. I hope you have a chance to stop in, and leave feeling the same.
