Vegetables and Fruits are always wallet friendly, and most importantly, fresh. They have a wide selection of meat (sliced steak? Love it!), and the flowers are always AMAZING. Trader Joe's is my absolute go-to, no question. It's my regular spot, and I just adore it. though, fair warning, it does get crazy busy and hectic, especially during peak hours and weekends. So, I usually aim for a midweek visit, like Wednesday or Thursday because then it's just a bit more chill, and you can actually breathe in those aisles. One thing I always count on; no shortage of gorgeous flowers. I mean, their selection is top-notch! I usually pick up a pot of blooms, and I love that a lot of them come from local businesses, some are even women-owned, which just gives it that warm fuzzy feeling. I cannot believe that I drove to Trader Joe's in San Dimas this morning for the limited-edition Mini Insulated Totes! I got there at around 8:30 a.m. and waited for about an hour. I was told they were running low on the purple, pink, and blue insulated bags, but luckily, I got the exact colors I wanted. Each mini insulated tote retails for $3.99 plus tax, with a limit of 3 totes per household per day. You can pick and choose your color combo: my choices were blue, purple, and striped pink, while the alternative was a striped blue, green, and orange combo. There is a limit of 1 per color while supplies last. I also bought a few boxes of Garlic Butter Nut Mix, some frozen food, and hand creams. 11/17/24 I love any TJ location, this happened to be nearby after I visited Costco Plus World Market. It usually not this busy but it's a Sunday & it's a mere few days to Thanksgiving. The prices are fair & affordable. Staff here seem to be friendly & helpful. The aisles are wide, most items are well stocked. I love that there are usually some items here that I will not find at your local grocery stores like Ralph's or Albertsons. The flowers here were all mixed up and they were ringing up different prices. When I brought it to the check outs attention he said it didn't matter because it rings up the price when he scans. I told he may want to check on that because it was 4 buckets mis priced. He said the manager was Kelly was there and he told me to tell her. I let her know about the mistake and she said someone probably "moved one to the wrong bucket " when I pointed out three buckets showing the wrong priced bouquets she said a customer must have moved them. I guess the customers work here now and moved all their flowers she made no moves to move them to the correct priced bin. Idk about This store I only come here because it's the closest one to me. Seems like the younger employees have an attitude and always look annoyed but the older folks that work there are nice and spark a conversation with you but not the younger ones. For example today I got a lavender tote bag and as I was paying the guy looked annoyed and rolled his eyes didn't even say hi and said the price immediately without scanning.BODY LANGUAGE!! This is my go-to location as it is the closest to my home. I come here ALL the time whenever I am in the mood to get out of my home. JK Always find what I am looking for and there are a few staples I like getting only at TJ. I also like getting items that I have never tried before and would add them to my shopping list if I really like them. There is a wide variety of frozen foods, ready to eat foods (including bakery items which I always buy!), nuts, veggies, fruits, flowers and so forth that are affordable and won't break my budget. Their stocked items are mostly decently priced and I love discovering new ones at each visit. Although this store is located in a busy plaza, I always manage to find parking easily. Decided to go to this Trader Joe's location since I was in the area. They had everything I needed and more! Some of my favorites: waldorf salad, okra chips, plantain chips, ginger shots, garlic bread, and other snacks I'm excited to try! This review is more for the cashier, Art, who gave such good vibes! I also noticed he would leave out some things and then pack them in certain bags (probably so it wouldn't be squished!) Place is clean and parking is easy to find, but this location is busier than others, which I didn't mind because I was in and out in a few minutes despite the cart load of things I bought! I have been reading labels and watching out for my health. I noticed that much of the products sold by Trader Joe's are pretty healthy and good for my whole family. The ingredient lists are smaller and the products there have less artificial colors and are not ultra processed with chemicals. Organic foods are abundant and affordable. Since this location is within a much larger shopping center and there's always plenty of parking spaces near Amy's Hallmark Store, I never have issue finding parking at this TJ. At my recent visit, I discovered these fully cooked organic chicken nuggets! TJ is one of the few places that offers a fair selection of non-dairy desserts. They now have these vegan mini ice cream cones made with coconut milk! We also picked up a box of watermelon and peach macaroons, nice touch for the summer! A trip to TJ is like a going to the mall for foodies, even when you are not looking to buy anything, you will always walk out with a few things just because they look too good to pass up! Not to mention those fearless flyers, I dare say they are better reading than most comic books! read more

I frequently go to Trader Joe's both in San Dimas and Chino. The employees are unfailingly helpful and courteous. The selection of food is curated and limited for marketing purposes and to make choices easier as Trader Joe's limit your choices. The food is mostly good and the prices are fair, but you need to augment your choices with Costco or Sam's club. One stop shopping has always been difficult. Now more so, IMO. About 70% of the food my family consumes, comes from Trader Joe's. Most other markets charge way more than the food is worth IMO. read more

Went in on a busy Sunday. Little store crowded. Having difficulty holding onto things and pushing cart, I had to put a couple of things down (on the ground) as they slid at checkout. I asked the cashier if they would be willing to help me with the cart. He (Ryan F) turned dramatically/loudly and announced, " You can put that right back where you got it with your own two little hands." It took me a while to get my things together and the cart: he had created a scene. People stopped and looked. The woman bagging with him stared at me and gave me a dirty look as I struggled. Stunned, I hobbled to the door with the cart and things sliding. A decent person rushed over and asked if I needed help: another customer. I have no idea what would motivate a man to behave that way; but, why on earth is Trader Joe's allowing this? I have back issues and have always been impressed with the customer service of making sure the people who need assistance get it with kindness. This was disgusting. I reported it (Melinda, the store "manager") who pretty much placates (smiling as she says there's nothing she can do) and has done nothing. I called corporate office several times, as they didn't follow up. They seem to treat people with the same disrespect and lack of professionalism (rude, and talking down to me) and never followed up. I don't know what's worse. The cashier who felt okay doing that, or the company's support/negligence in addressing it. How exactly is this community oriented, as it promotes itself to be? Truly revolting on all points. Abusive, bully culture. Acceptable by at least four employees, at least (cashier, bagger, manager, corporate) condone this. Update: Melissa from corporate office called (result of review?) two months later. After taking my time to tell me they had handled it internally, told me she was the final person to talk to and wouldn't disclose her boss was. (Also usually a non-no in actually well run organizations.) No apologies, of course, but lots of lip service about supporting employees growth? After pressing her asking if this was Trader Joe's policy to treat customers like this, she finally said she should have contacted me sooner. Bravo. Yes, you should have. It should concern Trader Joe's greatly. We work hard for the money and time we have, don't allow residents to be abused by your employees when we've chosen to go to you. I love my neighborhood Trader Joe's store and it's my go-to grocery store! I can't imagine I'll wait until now to write a review for it after I've been shopping here for over a decade! Several years ago, it was half the size as it is now before they took over the next-door space. I started shopping here for fruits and organic foods when we just moved here and then I stopped going to Arcadia or Rosmead for groceries as I shop most of my groceries here. I love the healthy food, the friendly associates and the fellow customers. My little one used to come with me and love their food samples. Items I love include: Artichoke in a pack of four or the big ones, Non-gmo corns, organic eggs, organic Tofus, Rib eye Beef steak, organic chicken drumstick, frozen Canadian wild organic blueberries, organic whole chicken, pork steak, purple-skin sweet potato, organic zucchinis, snow peas, organic snap bean, organic broccolini and broccoli, all kinds of bread, bagels, Italian noodles, fresh flowers and the new pita bread (wheat wrap) which is so delicious. The TJ store has been offering organic eggs to its customers at the regular price when the country was experiencing an egg shortage and most of the other stores increased the price. MY FAVORITE STORE! THE BEST CHEESES EVER! AMAZING EMPLOYEES!!!! I've turned my life over to clean eating, and lord does this store help! They have an amazing selection of vegan, high protein, low carb, and even low sugar items. It's definitely hard to find all of those qualities in one item, haha but I sure do try! Came here at 8:30am, wanting to get something quick. A lady at the entrance told me that it is senior hour, and Told me time come back at 9am. I respect that and waited in my car. Since I went back to my car, I saw that they allowed serval people who did not look like a senior at all to go in. I am not too happy with that! I started lining up with other customers (non-senior) outside of the store at 8:45am. I hope that this can be managed in a fair manner! Stick with the rule.
