This is not a misunderstanding. The warranty terms are written clearly in the service contract. They are simply choosing not to honor it. I ask to see the samples of what the shutters are made of and we set up An appointment for 1:pm on the following day. A different guy who works for him showed up 2 hours late and did not bring me any samples for the shutters. Instead he try to show me roll up blinds. I told him go back home and return with the shutters. It sounds like bait and switch. I called The boss back and was told to buy the roll blinds and he did not have the shutters. We do not recommend Sunny and team as they are very unprofessional and unresponsive. We are not at all happy with their product and service. They visited our home multiple times to install and final outcome was very poor. Most of the shades were crumpled/folded and doesn't look good at all. They reached me couple of months back and offered to replace the shades after I posted a review here and also made me to delete the post. Later, I followed up many times. Terribly dissatisfied with the blinds I got. When I contacted Sunny I stated clearly what my needs were. I explained that I'm a night shift nurse and sleep by day, that I battle with insomnia, and need 100% blackout blinds to mimic night. He assured me that he would take care of it. When I looked at the samples I again reiterated that I needed the room to be blacked out. We discussed how much material would be needed to cover the edges of the window and I was assured that 95% of light would be blocked out. The result is 70% at best and definitely does not meet my needs. When I asked about their satisfaction guarantee as posted on Yelp, they said they would not accept a return or provide a refund. At this point, I still have to use the tacky Velcro temporary black out sheets underneath the blinds to get the level of darkness I need. This was a total and complete waste of $1,200 - as I already had blinds that performed this way. There was literally no improvement. Additionally, Sunny completely flaked in my first consultation. And they never contacted me when the blinds arrived. I have ti reach out to them to schedule the installation. Just poor, poor experience all the way around. read more
