I like to come here when I am hosting an event as I like to add señorita bread to my dessert table (this item is a big hit). Today I got a box of 15 breads as I was preparing for company, I got a chicken empanada for my fiancé and for me a chai tea latte- my entire order was about $21

The STARBREAD! My first time trying this and it was ah-may-zing!! Hot, buttery, sweet and melts in your mouth! Bought a box of 15 and it's taking all my willpower not to gobble them all up in one sitting! Jesse was friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions. We are planning on coming back tomorrow for pan de sal. They ran out when we got here at 3:00.

if you haven't had star-bread at all, you most def are missing out. the bakery in pittsburg is small, yet full of life inside with decor and pastries. you need to always get their star-bread ever time, and you can get from small amounts to large quantities their ham and cheese croissants are elite, and paired with a white mocha coffee, you are set for a great day. customer service is always lovely as well sister enjoys coming here very often, so she is a dub for inviting me this time around

You've guessed it, their señoritas are mouth-watering! But I've also brought some savory goodness for my co-workers this morning. The empanadas are yummers! We've also tried their ham and cheese and adobo pork buns and they were okay. Most definitely, I'll come back here for their señoritas! Staff are friendly and efficient, so I was in and out. Also lesson learned, if you wanted empanadas for a large group, it's best to call it in. But to cut it short, co-workers still like what I got them. Win!

This is a Filipino Bakery that specializes in a style of bread called señorita bread. It's these tiny rolls of bread with butter and sugar on the inside. They're always fresh right out the oven when you order them, I kid you not. I can eat 10 of them no joke as soon as u get them. It melts in your mouth, the butter & sugar inside oozes out when you bite in them. I personally haven't tried the other pastries they sell there so I can't speak about them. They're not expensive either. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but not more than 10 minutes. read more

This is such a hidden gem. From the customer service, to the kind and very helpful staff. The selection is great even though I went closer to 5pm. I can only assume that in the early morning (like a donut shop) there is more items available. I was not disappointed though in anyway. I bought a dozen señiorita breads for $9 and TWO chicken adobo buns (tasted just like Chinese BBQ pork buns) so delicious. Will have to go back to try the rest of their items and see if this place gets that final star...... Bet they do!!!! Sorry NO PICS!!! The family tore it up when I got home (next time). read more

My husband tried the Senorita Bread last night at a friend's house. It was delicious so this morning after we dropped off our car, we stopped by Starbread Bakery. We bought some Senorita bread, hot out of the oven, four lumpias, two hopia. On the way home, we thought we would try the Senorita bread. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! We tried one of the lumpias. Again, DELICIOUS!!! We still need to try the hopia. I talked to the owner as we ordered these items and she said everything is baked fresh everyday! It is evident because what we tried was fresh and soooo good!! Addendum: Everything made fresh daily. Hopia - purple filling dry. Lumpia delicious- made fresh daily, but noticed if lumpia is available early morning, it may be left over from the day before, but fresh lumpia is available by 12 noon. The bread rolls are soft and warm. The beef stuffed bun barely have anything in it. Seems there was mostly potato inside, disappointing. The egg roll was crispy, overall tasty, but cold. Cream cheese roll is delicious. The experience would have been better if everything was fresh. read more

We did not know that they usually only sell if you called in the previous day. We got lucky and the bread had just come out of the oven and we were able to buy six loaves. They were huge loaves and under $3 each. Between my family and my sister's family the bread was gone within 2 days. We also had purchased six ham and cheese croissants that were also very tasty and under $3 each (what a bargain!). The people who work there were all super nice. Strawberry Tea with Jelly: Honestly, it was pretty standard for me. It had a nice tea profile flavor and mixed in with the strawberry, it worked well together for me. The jelly I ended I used more for texture than flavor and it made the drink somewhat enjoyable. Though, nothing really stood out to me from other places. Overall, service was nice, so I enjoyed that. May come back here and try other stuff

Oddly enough we have gotten food from 2 doors down from this place lol. So glad i found this because I was able to find a cars piñata for my son! They had a massive collection of options and of course authentic Mexican candy along with last minute party favors and or table coverings!! I love this spot!! The lady over the phone was super helpful and nice! I got there and ordered the chairs and table, pulled around to load them and then returned them the next day. I've told a few people about it because it's a great price and great service. Super convenient.

I asked and was told that this bakery uses MARGARINE. I personally cannot eat what in my opinion is an unhealthy processed product (margarine). CAN YOU PLEASR USE REAL BUTTER or UNREFINED COCONUT OIL & ELIMINATE MARGARINE? I just W - I - S - H there was one iota of health consciousness. Please stop using (in my opinion and others) heavily processes manufctured oils in products just because theyre economical. In my opinion economical heavily processed oils are cost effective for business but one pays dearily with their health. Please use REAL BUTTER, not margarine or cheap oil. read more

Usually, the young lady who works the front register is on duty- she is nice... but on 5-12-17, 340 pm, there was an older kind of chubby lady- she was rude. She couldn't care less about smiling, saying hello or thank you. So when you come in, and you see a younger hispanic skinny girl, go buy what you want. This is the best bread I've ever tasted. I will drive in traffic for this bread. It's delicious and so cheap. If you come in I suggest to order as much as you can because it's that amazing. Very buttery and fresh. It's probably not the healthiest so don't come here on a diet read more
