It pains me to write this review, but the Oakley Willy's is definitely not the same as the Brentwood location. I placed an online order that said it would be ready in 12-14 minutes. I arrived on time and ended up waiting a full 30 minutes with no updates. While I was sitting there, I received an email saying they were refunding me for the bagel dog I ordered for my picky kid. They clearly knew I was there waiting -- a simple heads-up from staff would have been appreciated. When my order finally came up, they casually told me they were out of bagel dogs and had already refunded it. No apology, no offer of a substitute, nothing. Just "we're out." The whole experience felt disorganized and dismissive. I'll be sticking to the Brentwood location once it reopens. Very disappointed this time around read more

Went here this morning with a friend for breakfast. She got the BLTA with everything bagel seasoning and plain cream cheese, and I ordered the Egg White Dream with chive cream cheese, for our drinks, she had the chai tea latte, and I got the Berry Peachy. My drink was super refreshing, and hers was sweet and really good! The food was tasty overall, but there were some order mistakes. Firstly hers came out immediately and mine took a while. I asked for my chive cream cheese on the bagel which i didn't receive so I asked for it on the side, but they gave me plain cream cheese instead. I also ordered a jalapeño bagel and received a plain bagel, and they forgot to include napkins for us as well. read more

A huge shout out to Myra G. (sp?) of Willy's Bagels in Oakley! I callled and left a voicemail just b/4 closing time with specific instructions on a special group order for the following morning. She called me back, but I missed the call. She was nice enough to contact me back after hours on her cell, and take my special order and ensure it was ready for drive thru for the following morning at 7:50 am. My order was perfect! Myra G. was lovey to deal with, & got everything correct. Scott, the owner also reached out to ensure I was completely satisfied. The Bagels & spreads were fresh & presented well in the box, along with the plates, plastic ware, etc. I received 5 Star Treatment, and recommended the service & the food. I'm really glad they opened this location because it has a drive thru and is t as busy as the others. I'm usually able to pull up will minimal wait. The food is always fresh and good especially the cheddar bacon bagel with cream cheese which is my go to of course. read more

I keep trying them hoping it will taste as good as they used to a few years ago. Customer service is great !!!! However the bagel is not as good as it used to be; I got a breakfast egg , sausage, cheese , jalapeno bagel it was ok, the egg was like microwave (see picture), there was only cheese on top of the bagel, I thought it would have a slice of cheese inside but it didn't, the bagel was ok. First time here. It is kind of weird when you first see it because it is called a drive thru but you can't drive thru to order. It's a walk-up. You walk up to the window and order your items. They do have a couple tables in front if you want to sit and eat but it is only outside. I think it is shared with next door. The bagel I ordered was the Ultimate Bagel with Chorizo, Cheddar Cheeses, avocado, egg and jalapeño cream cheese. I did opt out of the avocado and cream cheese because i did not want too much on my bagel that day. Big mistake i should have left the bagel as is because without the cream cheese it did not taste anything special. My friend got the Santa Fe and she loved it, but she said they put too much mayo. Customer service was good. The lady at the counter was nice and the food came right away. Pros: fast service, soft bagels which make easy to bite. Bagel size seems bigger than the standard bagel. read more

Really had high hopes given the praise Willy's receives in the community. Our bagels were cut very unevenly and one bagel was even broken so it fell apart when unwrapped. The ingredients seem fresh and they have a good amount of options but the bagels are inconsistent, overly toasted, cut uneven and difficult to eat. I may give them another shot but I was not impressed my first time trying them out. read more

Great! Came here a couple times already & had great experiences each time. Today I got a Santa Fe bagel on a Jalapeño popper bagel with an iced vanilla latte + oat milk. Once I brought the food home, I opened it & wow. It was a huge bagel. Warm & a little crispy from it being toasted. At first bite, I was in love with the flavors; I had eaten the whole thing real fast because it was so good. All the flavors just worked together. The coffee itself was great too, but nothing too different compared to other coffee's. It wasn't too overly sweet which is a plus. The staff was also very nice. Will be back soon! read more

We are lucky to have a home town bagel spot that is consistent in service and quality. My go-to is a sesame bagel with lox cream cheese. I'm used to lox being mixed in but this comes with plenty of smoked salmon and a smattering of silky cream cheese. It's perfect and doesn't break the bank. My other half loves the Jalapeño bagel with egg, sausage, and cheese with avocado, a bit pricey but if you're hungry-hungry, it's worth it! I cannot say enough great things about WILLYS! This should be your new morning/afternoon go to. Do your self a favor and try everything on the menu because everything is bomb. If I could give zero stars, I would. This location is NOTHING like the one downtown. We live in Oakley and were excited for this one to open. Unfortunately, our orders are never correct, bagels are burnt and we don't get the extras we pay for on the bagel. The reason for this review is because I picked up this time instead of delivering. And I checked the bagels before leaving. None of the three were correct. For the fourth order in a row, we didn't get the avocado we paid for on two of them. And they put the cream cheese on the Cinnamon Raisin bagel when we asked for it on the side. The redhead girl that came out to tell us that they couldn't remake it because they ran out of Cinnamon Raisin bagels because they used the last one making ours incorrectly. She was so rude and gave me so much attitude, basically saying she didn't make them so she didn't know what to tell me. Uhh, how about READ THE INSTRUCTIONS and make it correctly? How about some basic customer service? I didn't know that was so lost on employees. The shift supervisor was friendly and did try to make it right. But I had to ask three times for the owners contact information before getting it. The reality is that this place has terrible employees that can't follow instructions and they just do whatever they want. I'll never order from this place again. Also, there was another lady sitting outside that has had the same experience. And finally got fed up and returned her completely burned black bagel. She said she couldn't believe they had people working there that could look at that bagel, wrap it up and send it in that condition. So I'm clearly not the only one. read more

Ordered two sandwiches and a milkshake was told it'd be a 10-15 minute wait (fine). 25 minutes later I ask about our order they come back out 5 minutes later saying they don't have that order so we order again and wait another 10 minutes to get our two sandwiches and a milkshake. Look at the photos from earlier this morning that I attached, how does one manage to get the avocado produce sticker in the sandwich? What else has slipped up in their sandwiches?! This is a careless and unsanitary mistake, which is extremely disappointing. Beyond this mistake, this location makes meidocre bagel sandwiches that are carelessly tossed together and are simply not worth it. This was my second time going here. The first time was also not great, I ordered the lox bagel sandwich and received two small 1 inch pieces of fish total and it was assembled so sloppy. I wanted to give them another try today since my husband liked his bagel sandwich last time. However after today's experience and the consistent lack of quality and care at this Willy's location, it is safe to say we will no longer go to this location and you shouldn't too. read more

Went in a month or two ago, got a bagel and a "lion" flavored drink. Drink was so bad I couldn't even drink it, and I am by no means picky. My girlfriend confirmed, and we went back and got our money back. Bagel was good on this occasion. Went back in today, Got a lemonade and a bagel. The lemonade was great. But the onion on top of my bagel was burnt to black. At first, I thought, oh it's alright I usually like things more crispy anyways. But the burnt onion was so nasty me and my girlfriend could barely eat it. I don't know how you burn a bagel with 3-4 people in the small store. You would think one of them would check on it.
