I like to come here when I am hosting an event as I like to add señorita bread to my dessert table (this item is a big hit). Today I got a box of 15 breads as I was preparing for company, I got a chicken empanada for my fiancé and for me a chai tea latte- my entire order was about $21

The STARBREAD! My first time trying this and it was ah-may-zing!! Hot, buttery, sweet and melts in your mouth! Bought a box of 15 and it's taking all my willpower not to gobble them all up in one sitting! Jesse was friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions. We are planning on coming back tomorrow for pan de sal. They ran out when we got here at 3:00.

if you haven't had star-bread at all, you most def are missing out. the bakery in pittsburg is small, yet full of life inside with decor and pastries. you need to always get their star-bread ever time, and you can get from small amounts to large quantities their ham and cheese croissants are elite, and paired with a white mocha coffee, you are set for a great day. customer service is always lovely as well sister enjoys coming here very often, so she is a dub for inviting me this time around

Their service is pretty quick, they have great customer service, the bread is sooooo goood! This is what they're known for! Overall highly recommend. Overall when I order here I usually grab a big box to take to my workplace, and they too can't just have one.

    Savory goodness!

You've guessed it, their señoritas are mouth-watering! But I've also brought some savory goodness for my co-workers this morning. The empanadas are yummers! We've also tried their ham and cheese and adobo pork buns and they were okay. Most definitely, I'll come back here for their señoritas! Staff are friendly and efficient, so I was in and out. Also lesson learned, if you wanted empanadas for a large group, it's best to call it in. But to cut it short, co-workers still like what I got them. Win!

It's a true work of art that instantly catches your eye. Combined with the beautiful floral wall, the entire space feels inviting, elegant, and Instagram-worthy without feeling overdone. What really made our visit special, though, was the kindness of the owner. He was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. As a surprise, he even sent a bubble waffle over to our table just because and it was absolutely delicious! The menu offers a wonderful variety of teas and coffees, but the standout for me was the cheese foam. Made with a cream cheese base, it's rich, creamy, and wonderfully decadent without being overwhelming. Every sip felt like a treat. Truly Tea is one of those rare places that delights both the eyes and the palate. Between the gorgeous décor, exceptional drinks, delicious treats, and outstanding hospitality, it's a place I'll happily return to again and again. Highly recommended!

I think they had just brewed the coffee and poured it over ice which probably contributed to further diluting the coffee. I was also not a fan of their take on the whipped egg, it reminded me more of sea salt foam than egg.

They make your drink(s), rather quickly I might add, and then you're on your way. First time we went, I got boba in my drink - frozen Brownsugar Crave. I'd give that drink a 8.5/10. It was delicious and had great boba. The boba was warm, soft, and yet chewy. This time around, I got a Peachy Fresh for my girlfriend and a Caramelized Banana for myself. She gave her drink a 7/10, as it was in her opinion just a basic peach green tea. Nothing to write home about, but refreshing and satisfying. I would give my drink a 7 to 7.5/10 for the same reasons. Excited to try the rest of their drinks over time.

The barista could tell right away I wasn't feeling it and offered to remake it. I later asked for a Pink Glow instead and she said no problem. A few minutes later, another employee came out and said I'd have to pay for the remake because they're a small business. That's where it got uncomfortable. The remake had already been offered, so it felt inconsistent. I was willing to pay, but that wasn't really the point. What really didn't sit right with me is that the original barista, (who was Black) still made the drink, brought it out, and told me she paid for it herself. That should've never happened. If anything, the business should've stood behind her decision instead of leaving her to deal with it like that. And that's really the issue for me. It felt like a clear example of how Black women get dismissed in the workplace. She tried to do right by the customer, and instead of being backed up, she was undermined. Whether the mix-up was on me or not, the business didn't care enough to just honor what was already offered and respect the customer experience. For context, I've been coming here almost daily for weeks. I support small businesses, but this left a bad taste. I won't be back.

I really loved this cute little spot as well as how nice and sweet the owner was. Very simple shop with popular flavors of ice cream and coffee! Clean, tables, and enough space for everyone to hang while waiting! (Bathroom inside also!) I also thought how sweet it was to "pay it forward" $3 was on the menu-- it's a beautiful way to remind the community there is still kindness in the world and to share it (privately). He definitely keeps his word because he was so joyful explaining to my daughter how he loves the idea and how 5 people alone today chose to pay it forward! So thank you Eric for paying forward to us.
