So here is my review: If you're the impatient kind that turns into a punk after you have to wait for a little bit, don't come here. But let me tell you, you will hella miss out. The first time I came here I had to wait like 20 minutes, which was pretty normal according to the other patrons with me in line. I don't have a problem with waiting unless it's a ridiculous wait time for something that I know is quick to prepare (like this one time I waited 2 hours for a roll of sushi at this spot in Santa Clara, but I still was pretty decent about it.) With this place though, THINK ABOUT! 20 minutes MAX and you are getting the most mindblowing, deliciously fresh bread. It's INSANE. I forgot how big of a box I bought but I know that almost half of it didn't make it back to the house. You bite into this fluffy, hot bread that almost melts in your mouth, and then you get this sweet, buttery goodness flowing out. I was sucking butter out of my clothes, that's how good it was!!!!!! Some people say that the wait varies depending on the time of the way, but I don't mind waiting for it if that means I'm getting it fresh out of the oven and piping hot! They carry other items here too, which I also got and they were also pretty good, but the Senorita bread is the real star here. They have a high turnover so you can be assured that the bread is absolutely fresh, probably even baked in the last 10 minutes if you get some and they give it to you right away. I can't even describe what these Seniorita Breads are....like a cross between a dinner roll, a sweetroll, and doughnut - it's MAGICAL!!!!! I could eat a whole box to myself. I've been away from this Vallejo gem since moving away in 2010. I'm glad I can still get my senorita bread! They've added quite a few more items since. Alas, they ran out of the cinnamon senorita bread, however the original is still has awesome as I remember. Grab a dozen before and after visiting wine country! Dang , this Senorita Bread is off the hook!!! I was first turned on to them by a co-worker who brought a box of 50 in for our department. She raved about them, but I was a little skeptical at first, but after that first bite...man I was hooked. Mind you I work in Livermore and live even further away from any of the Starbread locations. It's become kind of an addiction of sorts. We (my co-workers and I) saw on the back of one of their cards there was a location in Newark, so we searched the employee roster for someone that lived in Newark and worked in our building to go on a Senorita Bread run on the way to work. As luck would have it that location is not open yet, so we went to plan B... another employee another Starbread location. We have another co-worker that lives in the vicinity of the Fairfield location make a slight detour on her commute into work. it's now become sort of an office thing, we coordinate with other departments and just this past Monday we had her bring in 200 for a couple different departments and like 3 boxes of 25 for people to take home (one of those boxes was mine). I sure wish they would open one closer to the Livermore area, but on the other hand it's probably best that they are far away, save me some pounds. read more

The Senorita bread was pretty good. We got there just before closing so there weren't any other options. We bought 10 pieces of the senorita bread and for $4, it was a steal! The store is in a shopping complex right next to Tapioca Express. The bread is just the right mixture of warm, sweet, soft with a little bit of gooeyness. I love Senorita Bread. I ordered 100 Senorita Breads for a party and it was all gone in the blink of an eye. If you are going to order that many make sure to call in other wise you will be waiting a bit. I was disappointed that it doesn't have the specialty Senorita Bread like they do in Natomas. Natomas which is newer than the one in Vallejo so I would think Vallejo would have this. Natomas has filled Senorita Bread. These are larger than the regular ones, they offer Nutella, Ube, Guava, Apple, and other fillings. The Nutella filled Senorita Bread is so good.
