Good for several occasions. This little shop can be found in a chain of stores along Sonoma. This isn't a coffee shop kind of place where you can stay and eat, it's just a bakery where you pick up your order. I've only had the senorita bread, so I can't comment on other menu items if there are any. I think they always have stock during peak hours, because whenever I stopped by, they'd always turn around the order lighting fast. The bread has also always been pretty across the board in quality, the quality has never fluctuated for me. If you never had senorita bread before, this is a great chain to visit. Delicious baked goods from a small countertop store front in a kinda sketchy area but it's a quick in and out for ordering. Stopped by there because I was at the Kaiser nearby and ordered some random items as well as the famous senoritas which were still warm from being freshly baked. This is a nice little gem tucked in a shopping center in Vallejo. They've been around for over 30 yrs and they bake some of the MOST delectable baked goods you'll ever taste. They have a variety of baked goods to choose from brownies, cupcakes, doughnuts, breads, I believe everyone comes here for their famous Senorita bread..caution they're addictive. I've been eating their famous señorita breads for years, and I never get tired of it. It's definitely a bakery that I hope will never go out of business! I recently got one 60-count box of each of their regular señorita bread and their new cinnamon-flavored ones, to share with my coworkers for a potluck. Sure, each box may have costed me a bit of money, but the bread is ALWAYS worth it! They're baked fresh all the time, and they're nice about giving you a heads up about how long it'll take them to finish preparing and boxing them. Considering that mine was a large order, I didn't mind the wait at all. When I received my order and drove back to work, the smell of the delicious and freshly made señorita bread was taking over my car, and it was heavenly! I was so tempted to eat one as I drove back, but I controlled myself to wait until everyone saw what I brought back. As soon as I opened the boxes, the smell of them hit my face and for a moment, I forgot everything LOL I easily ate four in one sitting, since I had to clock back in for work, but I definitely came back during break to munch on them before they all disappeared. On our way back from Sonoma, we decided to stop over to see what all the hype was about - the hype train is legit and these little breads are like crack. When you order their señorita bread, it comes out piping HOT with melted butter oozing out. I got a box of 50 for $20 to try and share with co-workers, and it was incredibly hard to drive back to San Jose without eating them while they're fresh... I think only 40 made it home. For those of you familiar with ensaymada, the señorita bread will remind you a lot of it. It's like ensaymada without the cheese and butter cream on top - the bottom of the señorita bread is buttery and sugary, giving it a slight sweet flavor. The bread itself is soft and chewy, so the sweetness really compliments the texture. All of my señorita were the original flavor, but they've now started selling a cinnamon one, and you can mix and match the cinnamon and original flavors for the same price. Even if they cool down, you can always pop them in the microwave for 10 seconds to make them buttery warm again. They're so cheap anyways, with the most expensive quantity being 50 pieces for $20... who needs to bring doughnuts to the office when you can bring señorita bread. Keep in mind credit cards have a min purchase requirement, I believe $6 and no $100 bills are accepted. They also sell different times if bitsu bitsu (a Filipino doughnut that is a lot like beignets but with granulated sugar) that have fillings like blueberry and nutella for only 75 cents. This place always makes me feel nostalgic. It pains me to admit that it isn't the same place I remember visiting growing up. The senorita bread was not as good as I remembered, or perhaps it was a bit old. It was missing the chewy texture and the sweetness I recall, it tasted like it had been sitting out for a bit too long. So I would recommend asking if everything is fresh first (though I believe they bake fresh daily). We purchased macarons (very hard, no chew factor, and the flavors tasted off, but I don't believe they bake them there). We also purchased cupcakes to see if they'd be an option for an upcoming event. The cupcakes were not moist nor was the flavor strong (chocolate/red velvet). Overall, I may wait a while before trying again or perhaps just hold on to the memories I have. read more

The señorita bread hype IS SO REAL. After reading so many reviews gushing about this place and it's well-known bread, I decided to make the trip to give it a shot. When I shared with the cashier that it was my first time and I'm not from the area, she advised me to wait to get the most freshly baked batch. MY GOODNESS, the señorita bread is so good. The bread is so delicate and it just melts in your mouth! It's also filled with this sweet buttery goodness that will make you ask for more! I also got to try the cinnamon flavored señorita but I thought the cinnamon tasted too strong but it's not too bad! Give both a try to see which you prefer.
