For about a year and a half, I've patronized this location once a week, nearly every week for reasons that are importantly only to me. I really like this store. I've been here so many times when there is nowhere to sit, not a single table open. I guess that's ok if you're taking your coffee to go, but I like to sit for a while. The only time I come in that it's not full or almost full is at 6:00 AM. It's like a sports bar during the big game. It's loud and standing room only. I like to be able to sit and relax at a coffee shop. I have walked in, turned around, and walked out as many times as I've been served at this Starbucks and I've been here a lot! Not worth the hassle anymore. Parking is hard to find as well. read more

I always enjoy stopping by this location. The service is quick, attentive, accurate, and always friendly. There's always an open table by the window and they provide a great vantage point to watch the hordes of mega-target shoppers trundle up the escalators and try to figure out how to get out of the parking garage. read more

I love this Starbucks! It's in Uptown and tgey are so friendly and speedy. It reminds me of a San Francisco style coffe house. Large tables to share with people, a coffee bar and plenty of couches. I feel compared to other Starbucks, they have a larger selection on mugs and cups to purhase. So, if you're in Uptown go to this Starbucks for your coffee fix! read more

Got in, got out. Just wanted my caffeine and wanted to go and they more than accommodated here. While I was waiting for my cafe the friendly barista and I had a good laugh about my more than comical shirt. It says beer and is a picture of a bear/ deer hybrid animal. It's a green shirt. I live nearby, ran outta coffee, got a cup of tall Gold Coast roast here but i spilled the whole cup because I didn't put the cap on after pouring milk at home. Yeah, I'm rolling my eyes at myself. Changed clothes and went to lunch w/ friends. I came back here cuz I need my caffeine fix, told the staff my silly spill and she did not charge me for 2nd cup though it didn't happen in the store. Finally, a place that can produce a Caramel Macchiato worth drinking! Usually, not a big StarBucks fan (Coffee Bean for me) but this one was quite impressive. Located in the new ABQ town, the starbucks is new, clean and its a spacious store. Worth visiting! read more

Best Starbucks in Albuquerque in my opinion. Drinks are always hot, made right and service is friendly. Drinks come off the line quick and the place always has good seating. Plus it's in uptown which is a pretty nice walk around if you are so inclined. Place is clean and there always seems to be someone maintaining the restrooms so they are clean as well. This was the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to in my life. The place was mobbed and there was only 1 person making the drinks. The only friendly employee was the cashier. The other two didn't even smile and when the girl making the drinks called out the names you couldn't even hear her. I will likely NOT visit this Starbucks again! read more

My favorite starbucks in town. The barista crew is fast and very friendly, the shop is clean and modern, there is a lot of seating for the space, and you are right in the Uptown shopping center! I've never had a bad experience here. Great place to study, job hunt, read, or meet and hang with friends. Can get a little loud during busy times but otherwise an excellent little coffee shop! read more

Starbucks is supposed to be open at 5:30 and we were turned away at 7:45. They were not open yet because they were not prepared to serve. People were just standing around wanting to get in. No one was happy. I was told to wait another 15 minutes. Had to be somewhere and left. Very bad work ethic and should be reported to ownership. read more

Great starbucks! I've come here so many times to study and I can't remember a time when my drink hasn't been made well. The barista was so kind, picked up on how I asked for slight changes in my iced coffee, and then made it that way(pumps of syrup and milk included) without me asking for every refill, free of charge! TOO BUSY FOR GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I was informed about a buy one get one free special from neighboring stores. I went to buy 4 drinks total, and was informed by the female working the cash register that the deal was on Frappuccino's and Expresso's. Once she wasn't able to correctly apply the discount she went to get her manager, and he informed it was only on the Expresso's. They both did not offer anything else for the miscommunication on the cashiers part, and just told us to move to the side so they can serve other customers. read more

This Is actually my favorite Starbucks in town. Lots of room to sit and do homework or read doesn't get too loud inside. The staff and management are also very polite and fast at making your drinks. I tend to stop at this location even if it's a little out of the way. read more

I like Starbucks. I like the uniqueness of the different stores as well. This one is BUSY most of the time. I like that this one puts my name on the cup, not all do this. I also like the long bar where you can sit and see drinks being made. I also like the LONG table when I meet up with a bunch of friends there. I have had good baristas and bad at this location. One thing I think for sure is the bad times have been with new employees that are still learning. The store is always clean, especially the bathrooms when I have gone in, even when they are BUSY. I really like that the area is maintained. This store is always quick, it is a bit further than the drive-thru one down the street, but I can get in and out faster (go figure). One thing to note if you feel the barista is new and you are ordering skinny because you are diabetic make a note that you say this drink needs to be sugar-free. This has helped me at all Starbucks locations. read more

I have been patroning Starbucks for many years now and I am sad to complain about poor customer service, after having such great experiences at locations across the country. These might be the most unhappy baristas I have seen. It seems they hardly smile or greet customers and it's infrequent that I hear a "have a good day." It seems that when ordering I am "inconveniencing" the baristas but the facial expressions they make tones of their voices. Today hit a new low for me when there were 4 baristas (one taking orders, one making drinks, one writing in a binder, and one opening boxes), the woman in front of me was picking up a phone order for 6 coffee travelers. The barista taking orders was getting it all together for her and putting the coffee on the counter. As the line grew longer the barista making drinks took 2 of our orders to get them started. The line continued to grow to the door. My shock came when not ONE barista offered to help the woman with the SIX coffee travelers (making trips in and out of the shop carrying the coffee to her car.) Neither barista not helping customers left their post. I work in customer service and expect more from an establishment like Starbucks. Please know that this will be the last time I patron this location and will chose to go out of my way to find a friendlier environment. read more

I live quite a ways away from this particular Starbucks, but I drive all the way to them every time, because it's the best Starbucks in Albuquerque. There is one employee Rico that makes the drinks we get, chai tea frappe-chino, and he makes them to perfection every single time. We always have special instructions in making it but he gets it right 100% of the time. All the employees are always nice and they give the kind of service that Starbucks gave when they very first opened. They have corrected mistakes that other Starbucks made on drinks, they let me return something that another Starbucks would not, I would never go to another Starbucks in Albuquerque they are by far the best Starbucks in Albuquerque. read more

I always thought that Starbucks had the best customer service UNTIL I visited this spot. After standing at the counter waiting patiently for my sandwich, I finally realized that I was never going to get my food. Sophie seemed to have forgotten about my order. Her and the other staff were too busy making fun of the customer that just walked out the door. I was visibly annoyed when I was finally given my sandwich and I was made to feel like I was the one inconveniencing her. Definitely, new management needed!!! read more
