I have generally had good experiences at this location and of the ones available in Anthem, this is the best. Rated 3 of 5 stars due to the location not being a great example of what a Starbucks should be when it comes to customer service and drink consistency. So slow it's hard to believe these guys are still even in business. I stopped by on Saturday at 11:30 AM waited in line for 15 minutes only two cars cleared the drive-thru, I never got to order so I left, the service here has always been slow and horrible, I'm done with you guys. I understand it's always busy but to mess up the order and then give you cold food??? Not good service. I just drove back 15 minutes because they forgot half my order and they gave me the same bagel they left out my order 15 minutes ago. You would think they would at least give me a new bagel because they left it out !! Nope !!! The Frapps are not mixed good and I end up with a glob of crushed ice stuck together at the bottom of my cup. With the Fry's Starbucks this has never happened. Once again, the drive through is slow as a snail. I just don't understand how they can be so slow! With as long as you have to wait , the drinks should be ready by the time you get to the window, but they still make you wait. Someone needs to help them be more efficient. read more

Steve could use some more CSR training. Decent PSL, clean bathrooms, good parking but focus definitely seemed to be on their drive thru and not the walk in customers. read more

Just went to get iced coffee only one customer in the store and 5 employee's two being managers. Unsure why the two managers would stand at the register and talk wait for me to walk up then say someone will be right with you and walk 5 feet away and continue to talk. Then two minutes later someone takes my order. I hope they get some competition soon and the customer service improves. read more

Slowest Starbucks ever! It took 30 minutes to get my drink. Do not go to this location if you have anywhere to be.

Probably the worst starbucks in anthem. The drinks are made poorly, and the wait is unbelievely long. I waited for my 2 drinks for exactly an hour and 2 minutes. I ended up just asking for a refund which took another 4 minutes, and I left without my drinks. read more

LISA IS THE BEST STARBUCKS EMPLOYEE OUT THERE! My boyfriend and I frequent this Starbucks more often than we should, and whenever we see Lisa we know we're going to have the best experience possible. Not only does she remember our names, but our order as well. Quick update....decided to give them another try this morning only because I ran out of Coffee at home and figured what the heck, maybe they've gotten better. I arrived prepared for a long wait and boy was I right! 13 cars in front of me from what I could count but I know there were two or three more out of view. Anyhow, 27 min wait!! Then to top it all off my drink was wrong and I order from the menu, nothing special, Unreal!! Just as a comparison, after i left here I set the timer on my phone, stopped and filled the tank on my truck, went to frys and grabbed a few groceries, dropped off dry cleaning and made a deposit at the bank through the ATM. Did all of that in 31 min. This location is horrible!!! read more

Still can't say it enough. They are so slow. I go inside today and there is 2 people ahead of me and it takes forever. No urgency. I opt to just buy a bottled frappuccino because once I get through the line I don't want to wait another 20 minutes for my drink. 7-8 people working and most of them just taking their time. The customer service at this Starbucks sucks except for one or two of the employees, most look out the drive thru window at you like you're some kind of science experiment they don't understand. Also, get it together with the decaf before you kill someone. I have a heart problem and NEED to get decaf. Numerous times I've driven away, taken a sip and thought I didn't taste decaf and after about 15 minutes comes the chest pain. You. Could. Kill. Someone. It's not that hard to pull decaf shots. Also, every time I don't get decaf I can't finish the drink, so I get about 10 sips of a drink I paid almost $6 for. Not okay. read more

Hands down the worst Starbucks experience I have ever had. Waited over 20 min for my drink. Asked how much longer and they said they couldn't find my order. One poor lady was working her tail off trying to make drinks while employees were standing around putting on lipstick, on phones and talking to each other. I love the crew here ! Manager Lisa S. Is always good for a laugh and most the staff no what I'm ordering as soon as I step through the door. Lots of friendly familiar faces makes it seem more like a small town hangout than a huge chain. My only criticism is that i wish they would bring back the old pumpkin scone. That rocked! read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. This location is just off the I -17 freeway so I imagine the get lots of travelers. On my way from Flagstaff to Phoenix we coordinated our stop with Starbucks so everyone could get coffee and go to the bathroom. Upon arrival a Starbucks staff member indicated we could not use the bathroom because he just mopped both bathrooms. I asked if we could take paper towels and dry on the the bathroom floors so that we could all go to the bathroom and he refused. He told us no and to go to Pizza Hut 2 restaurants down. I was appalled by his actions and lack of service. We decided not. To purchase a coffee and left. read more

Had a bad experience here today. Payed over $12 on two tall frappacinos and a brownie. They made my order wrong and just poured it into a grande cup adding a huge layer of caramel on the bottom just to make the cup look full pouring the drink into the cup and then whipped cream.. The brownie was absolutely old and disgusting it was pretty much inedible. It was rock solid and turned a light brown color. One of the Fraps had a ring around the straw of a frozen block of ice like a hockey puck AND I waited more than 15 min AND spent a fortune on it all. Not trying to be entirely negative, I'm sure they were just trying to get rid of the line, but I feel the food/drinks should've been better for my time and money read more

They lost me the minute one rude employee told me to "order something on the menu" after my slightly altered drink was made wrong. Messed with the wrong starbucks drinker though for two reasons. One being that I'm studying advertising and read the starbucks marketing book. Their entire company lives off of the concept that you can have what you want when you want it and it will be made correct. Obviously this employee is working for the wrong employer. Also, I spend about 250$ a month on starbucks me alone. Doesnt count my mom and brother. So he just cost his store quiet a bit of profit by not wanting to stick a drink back in the blender. Some baristas have become overly rude and intitled. Its sad. But true. Not going back. Would rather walk in to the walk in starbucks a mile down the road , even if it means being in my pajamas. read more

I've been to this Starbucks several times and it seems that the workers do not really care about the customers. The coffee is average, I've had baristas make it much better. I went on my birthday to get my free drink and the barista refused to give me my free drink and charged it on my starbucks card, I've chosen not to go to that starbucks anymore. read more

I just retuned from this Starbucks location 3640 W. Anthem Way with much disappointment. I purchased two drinks and used two different gift cards. This first card only had enough on the balance for part of the drinks. I then gave the second gift card for the remainder of the balance. The young man at the window asked if I wanted him to throw away my empty first card. I agreed and he gave me my receipt and my two drinks. I pulled from the drive thru window realizing that he had NOT given me my second gift card back. So, I pulled in to the front of the store and went inside. To my horror... I was treated as a thief! I was shocked that $11.86 remaining on that second card would lead me to this situation! They went into the garbage can next to the drive thru window. Both of my cards...same design etc. were found by a staff member. This staff member said Both were zeroed out! No other cards in the garbage but my two!! I showed my receipt from a minute ago. I was then ignored and no resolution given!!!!!! My Mother's Day gift card was gone! Where did customer service go? Disappointment beyond words! read more

Never have a good experience at this location! Only reason we stopped today was because of wanting to try the New Butterscotch drink and it's close to home. Wasn't surprised when told that they were out of that syrup, they are often out of things. After finally getting my drink in the drive thru, it had a long hair, half in and out of the cup, stuck by the lid. I went inside and up to the counter to ask for a new drink, explaining the situation. Instead of having someone at the counter make it, the cashier handed it back to the drive thru barista, with long hair, not pulled back, make it. He did tell her what the problem was and she rolled her eyes. Now I wonder if it's even safe to drink. Oh yeah and if you're allergic to bees, be careful at this location. They get inundated with them, inside, and never post a sign warning customers who may be deathly allergic. That's just a lawsuit waiting to happen!!!! read more
