This Starbucks provides exactly what you'd expect. I always park and go in to grab my drinks. Service is consistently prompt and friendly. I haven't tried the food, but coffee and specialty drinks are my go-to. The interior is clean and the location well-maintained. Location is not the best in my opinion being right off the main road but so happy Ashland has a Starbucks to go to. read more

Great service and love that they had pride stuff up. I didn't stick to my usual today. Instead I got the Funnel Cake without coffee. It was really good. Im sure it's loaded with sugar. Went to the Starbucks in Ashland Ky today on Winchester ave order the same thing I have always ordered at every Starbucks I go to 2 large white mica frappachinos with extra white mocha when I tell you these drinks where the most disgusting drinks I have ever had the displeasure of drinking they literally tasted ruined almost as if the mocha they used was expired or they didn't clean the machines properly and mold had set up in it my husbands mouth and throat started to feel numb we pulled into a gas station threw both drinks away after only taking a few drinks and had to purchase bottled drinks to wash our mouths out after this my husband's mouth started to clear up this is the most disappointing and disgusting experience I have ever had if I could give this a negative stars I would read more

They took 15 minutes to make my one mocha. They had 6 people working and only one person on the hot bar. There was no urgency amongst the workers. Workers stood around and waited for drinks to be made when they could have helped jump on the other espresso bar or at least assisted the one girl on hot bar better by topping her drinks. I came here to pick up a mobile order for a bridal party (7 drinks) and they were very overwhelmed. I think they probably should have turned off their mobile orders because they had so many coming in and couldn't seem to keep up! I also had to ask multiple times to get drink carriers, because I obviously couldn't carry 8 drinks to my car by myself without making 3/4 trips. I know we are all stressed right now and everyone is edgy because of CORONA, but our experience today was very rude. My daughter asked for very simple coffees and she's on the spectrum which means she doesn't always communicate well. The barista was rude and insensitive. You never know what others are going through, be kind if you are working with the public. I've been going to Starbucks since the 90's and this is only the second time I've experienced a rude barista. The other one was in Washington DC, I expect better from a Kentucky business. I hope her day gets better and she treats others with more kindness. read more

I would say how you would rate this storE is highlly dependent on whether the manager is working. When's he's there it flowed well and is a little slow but not bad. I'd rate a solid 4. When he's not, a 2 is generous. We travel a lot and it's hands down the slowest Starbucks I've bEen to. I know I've only been here a few times, but this location could use some help in cleanliness and organization. I understand ordering Dark Roast around 7:15pm seems odd, but I would think offering a Pour Over would be better than offering a different roast. I'm conflicted about this place. I'm thrilled that there's a drive thru Starbucks in this area, the drinks are always spot on, the staff are friendly; but they're SO. INCREDIBLY. SLOW. So slow, in fact, that if there are more than two cars in line, I won't stop. What's not to love about our Ashland Starbucks? Whether I go through the drive-through and get excellent service and my delicious coffee, or whether I go inside and get excellent service and my delicious coffee. Although inside I do like the atmosphere. I like being able to sit down in a comfy chair and read the newspaper or work on my tablet, and maybe meet someone new. Great atmosphere, friendly customers, strong coffee, and good wifi. The only thing that I honestly see this place lacking is good seating. If you come in around dusk or dawn then you are shit out of luck if you wanted to sit on your laptop while you slurp down a frappuchino. I wish they would've took this into consideration when constructing the building. The parking has lots of unneeded space that would've been more suited for seating / dining area. This Coffee Shop is extremely slow, as the focus is on drive-thru traffic and not walkins, which even the drive-thru service is slow. A crew of 4 in a small shop like this should be much more efficient and timely. You can tell you are in Ashland, KY vs's a shop in a large busy metropolitan area. I spent 5 days in Ashland and visited this Starbucks each day to get my daily fix. I live in Asia and have been to Starbucks in probably 20 different countries. This is hands down the worst location I've ever been to. Not only are the staff incredibly aloof and nonchalant about everything, they screwed up my order on four out of five days. One day they completely forgot my order altogether and after 20 minutes of waiting and finally reminding them of my order (ice americano), they responded with a gruff "oh, okay...wait." After another 10 minutes of waiting they delivered a hot latte. I told the girl that I ordered an ice americano. Her response? "So, you don't want the latte then?" Face meet palm. Also, as others have commented here, this place is beyond slow. I could hand pick the beans, roast them, grind them, and make my own coffee faster than these people can deliver. I love Starbucks, but this location needs management intervention and a complete reset button push on the staff and approach to customer service. read more

My husband and I spend an outrageous amount of money on coffee at Starbucks let's just say it's our guilty pleasure. We just waited 20 min in the drive thru and paid 10 bucks for 2 venti's and she handed us half filled cups.
