While I do try to prioritize smaller coffee chains, a classic Starbucks always hits the spot. This is my local cafe and the service is always so welcoming! I went today to get my regular pick-me-up and was pleasantly surprised when the cashier offered me a free drink they had made for a cancelled order. I appreciate the no waste approach this store takes as well as the quick service. I was in and out within about 3 minutes and got to enjoy some delicious hot coffee during my errand run. The pistachio latte was a bit of a miss in my opinion, but the free caramel macchiato made up for it entirely! read more

Did a mobile order when we were less than 2 miles away and on the move for two drinks for in-store pick up at 9:40 am this morning. We easily got a parking space in the roomy and free parking lot that it directly shares with the Panera Bread next door. We walked in, and R's drink was ready and waiting at the pick up area. There were lots of baristas in this location, and they were hustling to make drinks, mostly for customers going through the drive thru. We had to wait a couple of minutes, then my drink was ready. I had ordered a venti chai tea latte with 2% milk steamed hot and one pump of sweetener. Perfectly made and delicious! Unfortunately, this location currently doesn't allow customers to sit inside the store, so it's strictly grab and go, although there is a small patio out front with several tables. However, it was too cold to sit outside, and there weren't any heat lamps to keep customers warm. The store was clean, and it had a large piece of artwork that looked as if it was a giant chalkboard that almost covered one of the walls. A big Starbucks mermaid was one of the featured characters in this celestial inspired depiction. read more

Happy New Year Yelpsphere! Ian with his welcoming face & personality shined through the interactive ordering screen - which shows what you ordered. My first time seeing this at the Drive-Thru. Pulling up to the window he & his Barista Buddy Joseph tagged team me with their jovial, high spirited vibes. Had there not been a long line behind me I would've stayed posted up at the window a little bit longer to soak up their "Je ne sais quoi" type of service. This is a busy location as it's right off I-85 & the entrance/exit can be a little congested. This in regards to the coffee. I ordered a coffee this morning, a brown sugar oat milk shaken expression to be exact with an extra pump of brown sugar and 2 pumps of liquid cane. Instead of liquid cane they gave me regular granulated sugar. And regular expresso instead of a blonde expresso. It tasted too strong which I ultimately just had to throw away after taking two sips of it. This Starbucks is located at the corner of N Druid Hills and Briarcliff in the Brighten Park shopping center (The Fresh Market, Grub Burger Bar, Moe's, Zoes Kitchen). This shopping center was formerly known as Loehmann's Plaza, but was given a facelift in 2015 and renamed Brighten Park. This Starbucks isn't in the shopping center's main strip, but instead off in a corner in a small building it shares with Panera Bread. A big reason I give this Starbucks four stars is because it has a drive-thru. I stopped by and got an iced vanilla latte with half syrup. A grande (16 ounces, 190 calories) cost $4.15 plus tax. Ingredients: espresso, milk, vanilla syrup, and ice. It was made fast and tasted delicious. It was so good, I wish I'd gotten a venti. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating and offers warm La Boulange pastries. The cafe was clean and the employees were friendly and efficient. I would come back. read more

They're either 30 minutes behind every morning and you're in the line forever or there's no one in line so you get yelled at because theyre frazzled... so you can't order ahead or it'll be cold or they literally say to you "we need you to order ahead 10 minutes" and lecture you while you're just trying to grab coffee FFS. Only person worth anything there is the older black guy Brian I think, he's the only reason y'all get a star to begin with. You all can't do anything right, constantly mess the order up... there's a GIANT pothole in the drive thru that's been there's for over a year now. Long overdue: I go to this Starbucks 5 days a week on my way to work. I was impressed with the consistent customer service until recently. I bought a Chai tea latte and this time I was given coffee (I don't drink coffee) unfortunately, I didn't realized it until I got to work. I understand mistakes happen and decided to take it back a few hours later when I got a break since my plan was to go to Panera bread anyway. I was shocked by how rude Tierra was. I walked in to explain the situation and she was already rude and condescending. I asked to speak to a manager and her response was "I already called my manager 3 times today for other issues and I won't be calling again". I was in shock! I continued to ask her if there is a way to pull up how much I spend verses what I have returned via the app. She replied "you know what just never mind I'll tell them to make it" while rolling her eyes. I then asked the gentlemen making my Chai tea for her name and she yelled it across the store. This was my FIRST time EVER returning an item to Starbucks and I was so disappointed with how she treated me. Trust me, sometimes my chai tea is watered down and doesn't always taste the same and I suck it up. I only returned this because I could not drink it AT ALL. At most Starbucks I see inconsistencies between the evening/weekend vs morning (clearly the a-star team) but this was by far worse. 5 star for the consistent morning crew! Pretty fond of this Starbucks - you just start getting some of the intown attitude but not enough for it to be obnoxious. Parking can be a bear - there are several food restaurants nearby worth checking out so the parking lot gets filled up quickly. Also it can be difficult to get in and out of the parking - lot's of restrictions for which way you can turn due to the medians, etc. Easier to head to the entries/exists that have traffic lights. I have stopped at this Starbucks for the past three months before work. This Starbucks is always hit or miss. The coffee is at times lacking. This morning I went in for my usual, a regular venti dark roast with a bagel with cream cheese. They do not have blue cheese...okay, I'll take butter. The coffee was bitter and tasted blonde which I hate. Thankfully I work at an office and can warm up the bagel and butter. With Matt-tastic time in the drive thru, to the personable time Alice takes adding the little requested touches to my drink; I can study here for hours without being asked to leave, or expect a fun interaction with Matthew through the drive thru. 5 Stars for this Starbucks. Ok, Ok the coffee is the reason we all come here. The great new Seasonal flavors are creative and delicious and their staples are always on point. It is an expensive cup but I think it's quite worth it. But this location in particular gets the 5 star treatment because of it's friendly service and amenities. There is ample seating inside but the patio is one of the nicer ones in the city. It doesn't just have your typical chairs but it has booths with lighting. Kind of intimate for a coffee date, studying, or collaborating with a business partner. I must say that I was able to truly focus on my studies while enjoying my cup of their hot, Salted Caramel Mocha. It's not too sweet but has just the right amount of sweet flavor to tickle your taste buds. There's also a drive through window, (a lot of starbucks don't have drive through's) so this makes it easy for someone on the go! read more

I always visit this location when I'm heading to work in Brookhaven. Sometimes I will use my mobile pay and sometimes I will use the drive thru option. Either way, I'm never disappointed with the service or my purchase. I want to say I am so impressed that this location still allows me to order a Salted Caramel Mocha, AND they still have the salt needed to make the drink to perfection. LOCATION: This starbucks is located in a shopping plaza. There is plenty of parking, but it is shared parking spaces with the Panara Bread next door, so it will fill up petty quickly. There is plenty of seating available if you are traveling solo or if you are hosting a small group meeting. SERVICE: The baristas are friendly and make excellent drinks. I love that when I come here my affogato shot is made correctly and no mess of my drink is made. (I hate when my drink is leaking caramel sauce). FOOD & DRINKS: I mean you really cant go wrong if the drink is made correctly and you order a warmed banana nut bread or a bacon gouda sandwich. You shouldn't be disappointed. read more

The coffee tasted great, as always. However, we waited almost 30 minutes for 2 iced lattes. There were 9 employees working, that we could see. 3 or 4 were hustling and working really hard, and others were moving so slow. One employee kept complaining about the mobile orders coming in, but they are able to turn it off (as I've been unable to mobile order before during busy times), and this should have been done. They were making all the mobile orders which were piling up on the counter and getting cold, but the people in store were not prioritized at all. The lady in front of us wait over 20 minutes for her coffee, and we waited 28 for two regular menu items with no modifications. The staff was friendly, but clearly not equipped to handle a busy weekend day. read more

We usually uses the drive thru and the whole staff is always patience with us as we tend not to know what we want to order before we pull into the drive thru. This is my favorite Starbucks to go to. I'm a morning regular here and even with the morning coffee work rush, they're always fast with the service and consistent with their coffees. I have 2 go to orders and the person working at the drive through lane knows both of them. It's nice when all you have to do is roll your window down say hey, and they just know your order. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here, but I also never go into the Starbucks. From what I noticed, the people who work the drive through are all very nice and rarely rude. But everyone has their days... even Starbucks workers wake up on the wrong side of the bed some mornings. If you want fast service and good tasting coffee, I'd recommend this place. I think the only complaint I have about this Starbucks is the location, great for business, horrible for the customers. It's a nightmare trying to get out of the parking lot, none of the entrances and exits have a traffic light, so you're just trying to wrestle with traffic to get outta there. read more

The staff was really friendly and patient. The service was fast which was great because I had somewhere to be. I got a hot caramel macchiato with almond milk instead of the regular dairy that it comes with. The only complaint I have is that my drink wasn't as hot as it usually is/should be. Exceptional baristas. No complaints what-so-ever. Other Starbucks need to look up to this one. Hands down one of the best I've been to. This place is very clean inside and trash never gets overfilled and left there. The drinks are made correctly (from all the times I've been there). I remember once when I came with a friend and ordered drinks as well as pastries. The barista asked if it was for here, because if it was, he would put the pastries on a plate for us and heat it up if we wanted to. That's just what he did and he brought it out to our table. And the award for the slowest drive through goes to..... I think that I waited in drive through line for over 10 minutes to get a frappuccino. The wait was so long that my drink must have sat made while I sat in the line. I say this because when you order a frap, you expect it be cold and crunchy with little ice bits. My frap was like drinking chocolate milk. It was missing the ice bits and only had the java chip bits. I hate chocolate milk. I hate all milk actually, but love fraps. I tossed this out. Pretty nice for a Starbucks. Furniture is more modern than your average Starbucks, and the workers do a good job keeping the place clean. There's a good amount of seating, but it'll still be packed throughout most the day as any Starbucks would be. They also have a drive-thru, but it's mega slow; you'd be better off just parking and ordering inside even during peak business hours. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons. 4 stars. read more

Normally, I wouldn't review Starbucks unless they are exceptionally good or bad, or if they are a location i consistently stop into. This one is my-normal-Saturday-afternoon-stop-for-a-iced-soy-latte Starbucks location...great baristas, comfy lounge chairs, and best of all, a drive-thru for when I'm sweaty & gross coming from a workout and don't want to be seen in public. Otherwise, this location is pretty consistent with most other Starbucks...the line is never that long when I visit this location, and they always get my order correct and to me very quickly. This is one of the better Starbucks in the area. Both the staff and patrons are very nice and friendly. The place is often filled up but I always enjoy the place. The best time to be here is on a cold overcast day. I love to look out and watch the wind blow and the cars go by in traffic. The only odd thing is, and this is for all Starbucks, is the Spotify app and Starbucks music. I think this is still a work in progress. read more

Best Starbucks ever. Every time I come the drinks always come out the right way, the service is great, and the space is nice and clean. But today, I was blown away. I came with two friends who don't usually go to Starbucks, so the cashier was super nice and patient. She explain the drinks and answered all their questions with sincerity. After we got our drinks, we went outside to sit and enjoy our drinks. One of my friends realized that the drink has milk in it, but she is lactose intolerant. She went inside (without the drink), told them that she's lactose intolerant, and they made her another drink, the same drink, with coconut milk instead of regular milk, for free. Didn't charge her extra and didn't fuss about her not telling them when she ordered. I will definitely be back again and again!! read more

I would expect a barista after having a complete company overhaul, to have the best customer service experience. Apparently not at this location. From the moment I walked in, i received an i welcomed stare. Completely uncomfortable! Secondly the barista never asked for an identical experience name and had no idea what menu options were available. Lastly, the barista still brewed the incorrect menu item choice. I find that we have to hold companies accountable for not training their employees properly on customer service experiences. I head nod is not a means if answering a customer and to continuously answer with a head nod, is a sign of disrespect. I will be returning to this location to follow up on this experience. Saturday morning, no body in line, got a latte macchiato and a warm croissant. The croissant came out first, then the manager ask me what drink did I get, told him and wait then the cashier came and ask me again, then I have to go back and ask if they have my drink, they said it will be out in a minute, so I finished my croissant and my coffee came out late and cold. Maybe they need to drink more coffee, no apology from their part they just call my name and set the drink in the counter. When I go on the app and order online for pick up I expect to be able to go in and grab my food because I'm on a time crunch that's the point of ordering online, other Starbucks locations tell you that ordering online is unavailable which I much rather than ordering my food, getting to the location and walking up to the door to find out that its locked but I already spent my money on the app so now I have to get in line and be late for work. This Starbucks is consistently bad. If you go through the drive thru, be prepared to put your car in park because it is always slow and once you're in the line, there's no escaping so make sure you have 20-30 minutes to spare. If you order inside, be prepared to wait in a long line and have someone who seems clueless take your order. And if you're lucky, you may even get what you ordered! read more
