A great Starbucks location for a trip after Michael's Crafts in the plaza across the street! The store is festive and beautiful for Christmas. My fiancé and I ordered a couple drinks (hot sugar cookie latte for me and iced shaken espresso for him) and shared a sugar plum cheese danish. A few visits for coffee and breakfast sandwiches at this busy Starbucks in Buckhead. There is no drive thru. Parking is plentiful. Service was friendly and they were as efficient as they could be given the crowds. They were out of items on one visit before close. The dining room is compact and pretty clean. I saw staff cleaning tables and emptying trash. My usual white chocolate mocha with sausage, egg and cheese tasty! I also got a caramel Frappuccino that was yum on another visit. She asked if it was clean twice and I said yes twice and she said I'm not touching that and put it in some kind of container. She then got mad that we weren't standing directly in front of the pick up counter and could be heard telling her co workers 'What the f*** are they doing???'. She then kept on and on and on about ice water this and that, cussing here and there, and being very angry. Also could be heard telling her co workers we had a bad attitude but we were standing there kind of with a 'wtf' look on our face at this reaction to asking for water. I would not recommended asking for water at this location because it seems to upset the employees very badly for some reason and ruins their day. I visited this Starbucks while in the neighborhood and had a good experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming when I walked in and ordered. They had samples out which was cool. I seldomly see samples at Starbucks for their new drinks. I ordered a iced vanilla latte with oat milk and my drink was made to my liking. There was seating available inside for guests and this Starbucks is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Will visit again when in the area. read more

R and I stopped here after having breakfast nearby, after using the app and ordering a couple of drinks. I was surprised that, especially for a Sunday morning at 9: 20 am, there were a lot of people (at least 12 people) standing around inside waiting for their orders. I saw three employees behind the counter area, but only two of them were actually fulfilling orders. The two that were getting orders together were quickly trying to get orders completed. Completely focused on this, employees only called out customers' names when they placed orders on the counter, and then moved on to the next order. Wham, bam, not even a "thank you, ma'm." This store was dirty inside, especially at and around the counter area where the employees placed completed orders. Our drinks, my hot chai tea latte and R's vanilla latte, were perfectly made, and we took them to go. I suggest that any customers coming here also go through the take out route. read more

I was here on vacation not too long ago, and I was with a friend. She wanted Starbucks, but I am not much of a coffee guy. I went inside the Starbucks, and I was instantly greeted by the staff. The worker that stood out to me the most however, was Violet. She did an amazing job recommending me her favorite drink, Vanilla sweet cream cold brew with 5 pumps vanilla and vanilla sweet cream cold foam. I took her word for it, and I was pleasantly surprised. Violet's customer service skills were outstanding and she truly made my experience here at Starbucks delightful. Her fun and vibrant personality made me feel at ease when ordering from a place I never really go to. She was really amazing, and I would definitely recommend this Starbucks location to people in the Atlanta area. Violet truly outdid herself and did such an amazing job helping me out. This location is in the Target shopping center and probably has a steady stream of customers no matter what time of day. I was there at 4pm on a Saturday and there were about 6 or 7 people waiting ahead of me who had already ordered. There were about 5 or 6 people working but only one poor soul making ALL the drinks one at a time. He was very good in making the drinks but he truly needed help and there were two female managers or whoever they were just chatting away behind the counter while the line got longer and longer. I waited a full 20-25 minutes before my name was called. This is unacceptable when they were fully staffed. This kid needed help and nobody could care less. At least put a tip jar out for this barista because he did all the work while you people stood around and watched him. Shame on y'all. read more

When it comes to Starbucks, this is about what you've come to expect. They have a nice assortment of seating and plenty of parking which is always a plus. As with other SBs in the metro area you'll probably have a homeless person or two hanging out. I ordered on the app and they got my order correct so I really have nothing to complain about. This location is the location I go to at least 4 times a week since it's super close to my work place. Drinks has always been consistent but the only question I have is that why every morning I'm there, it's always one person doing mobile orders and if the walk in flow is not busy the other four people always stand around and talk. I was so annoyed this one day when this four individual just talking like they're not at work and this one lady was doing all the drinks and obviously she was behind. it was not her fault since she's doing everything herself. My drinks took 40mins since the moment I placed the order. I ordered when I left home and when I got there I still had to wait 10 more minutes. my house is 30mins away. I ordered through the mobile order app, when I arrived my drink wasn't ready. The young black lady was talking badly about someone and she then stormed out the store. I had to wait longer than expected for my drink, it messed with my schedule and caused me to be behind on my errands. It seems like she causes a very unprofessional and difficult environment in the store. Really disappointed and would recommend having a talk with the employee for not only causing a bad atmosphere, but also delaying people's drinks. read more

Not the greatest starbucks. As far as service it was just okay, but they were quite slow making the drinks. The parking lot was very dirty with trash all over the place... I guess to be fair it's shared with other businesses within the same plaza, but it just doesn't look very clean. I don't recommend sitting here to lounge and study but is okay for a quick pick up. One complaint though, is the fact that they don't have a drive through here so it kinda takes away the convenience. This was close to me and on the way home today so I just decided to drop by. It takes a lot for me to review a chain restaurant because you typically know what to expect. I am visiting Atlanta this weekend, stopped at Starbucks, and have never had such a bad experience. The store is a mess.... Spills, trash, and wet floors from drinks. On top of this the Starbucks got every single one of our orders wrong. They forgot almond milk in my drink, out of cold brew, and forgot about my friend's order. I would recommend the corporate office come shut down the store until they can get it back up to the normal standard. read more

I was running some morning errands and feeling a little bit of a drag so I decided to go pick up some Nitro Cold Brew. You haven't had it yet, you say? Well, what are you waiting for. Every minute that passes, you're missing out. This location is in the same strip mall/shopping center as the Home Depot. You can just walk over. This location I think is convenient for a lot of people for running errands and hence everyone comes in to pick up their coffee here. Even though this was a standard size location, this place was packed. There was long line to order, all the seats were taken and tons of people waiting for their drinks. Luckily I had ordered online and as soon as I came in, my drink order was ready. There were tons of baristas here all working frantically to fill orders. I believe they were doing the best that they could but the management really needs to take a look at their flow though and help them out with the workload. Now back to this Nitro Cold Brew. You haven't had it yet but you should. It's this wonderful new drink where they apply the beer inspired nitro technology to coffee. This changes the flavor and texture of the drink to make it one of the best things out there. I drink it black and it neatly comes in a sippy cup to remove the need for a straw. Love this drink... might have to choose a different location though. read more

4.5/5 STARS. I love this Starbucks! The staff is super friendly and they make an effort to get to know their customers. I've been here three or four times and each time the restaurant has been clean and well-stocked. I love the box they set out asking for customers' instagram accounts so they can follow them - it's such a cute idea. The staff always asks what their customers have planned and really make an effort to engage with them. The only "issue" is the time is takes for bevvies to come out. They are a little bit slower than the average Starbucks, even when they're not super busy. It's not a huge drawback and all the good definitely outweighs the speed of service, which isn't even *that* bad. I'll definitely keep coming back to this one when I'm in the area. read more

This is the time of year when I am a Starbucks drinker. Not being a coffee drinker, I really can't review anything other than the eggnog lattes that are available from Thanksgiving to New Years each year. I probably spend more money these last 5 five weeks of the year than some people spend all year long. I'm hooked on all things eggnog. The two star comes from my last visit, this year as part of their holiday promotion, they give you a star each time you buy a holiday drink. Well since that's all I'm buying anyway, I should have about 20 stars, you only need 5 to redeem for a tall holiday beverage. So, my last visit, I go in and ask the manger if I can pull up my Starbucks app and show that I've purchased the required 5 drinks. She says, NO, because that doesn't prove that I've bought them. Uh?? Then I say, well I also have my receipts, she says, well, anyone can bring in a bunch of receipts and says they bought 5 drinks. I was offended and asked for her name. Since I'm in a holiday spirit, I won't post it in my YELP review, but I did contact their corporate offices. She also said to me, I should have mentioned it when I was in the store. Now mind you, I've worked in retail before, and whenever a store I was working in was running some kind of promotion, I was responsible for saying something to the customer, not the customer reminding me that my company was running a promotion. Again, that kinda turned me off from visiting this location again. However, this is the closet location to my job, and I've been in on three other occasions and still not presented with a star for my holiday drink purchase. Seems like none of the employees can remember to pass them out or maybe its one of those things where if a person doesn't mention it, they don't get it. Either way, as far as Starbucks locations go. From this customers yelp-of-view, they could be a little bit more focus on providing a level of service you would expect from a $4 cup of latte. Not just with the star, but each time I've requested no nutmeg on the latte, and only not gotten it on a few occasions. The vanilla sugar dispenser is either normally empty or clogged up. This location isn't necessarily memorable or distinct in its service- it has the average amount of seating, but because of its central location for all the local shopping areas, it is always packed. The service is friendly- average. As well as the coffee. Starbucks is really good at making each drink taste the same everywhere you go so I wasn't particularly blown away. But in the chance I want some quick, consistent coffee and service- this is a good location. read more

This Starbucks in Buckhead is not in my top 3 choices of Starbucks if I want my hot chocolate or frappucino. Don't get me wrong, the baristas are friendly and the hot chocolate is fine. The food is from La Boulange, same as in every other Starbucks. My issues with this Starbucks are 1) the place is tiny - not enough seating. Funny, someone commented the Starbucks at Disco Kroger is tiny. Wait till she visits this location. 2) long waiting time - the baristas take a long time to make a drink, even when it is not at all crowded. 3) the place is not conducive - in fact it doesn't look too clean to me either. The arrangement of the tables, chairs and counter just do not look quite right. Maybe a renovation will help? read more

She was walking around not doing her job and a man in front of me was trying to order and asked if she was on break and she said "no you were acting like you were walking away so i left"?? So i tried to order my two drinks, didn't even finish what I was saying on the first drink and she rings me up and walks away. I have been very patient with my orders being done the wrong way. I always mobile order to save time and pick up on my way to work. Unfortunately, there are two things that are a constant with this store. 1. They never have the order ready. When I say never I mean no 1 time. When I get there to pick up my order the wait is at least 5 more minutes to get my coffee. And 2. The order is always wrong. EVERY TIME. I do not have time to come back and have them do it the right way, so I have to consume sugar instead of sugar free and milk instead of heavy cream. I am on keto and part of my day is to have a drink made with sugar free syrup and heavy cream. They kick me out of keto every day because they don't do this drink right.
