This is the worst drive thru, 8 out of 10 times my order is incorrect. The quality of service and the lack of true customer service is less than a 1 Star. They are constantly out of inventory. By far the worst experience at Starbucks. They're drive through service is so bad, they had people waiting at the window and it was my turn I refused to pay for such bad service. This is by far the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. Everyday is a 30-40 minute wait even with only a few cars. The employees are extremely slow, they are very nice but soooo slow. I don't know if this is a training facility or what, but they need to pick up the pace. read more

Drive-Thru Slow Service Great Americano. The drive-thru is great and very convenient especially on a road trip. The service was pretty slow it took a good 5-6 minutes to get my cup of Americano after I pulled up to the window. They did apologize for the wait which I thought was a nice recognition. Asked for a sugar free java chip frappacino and they gave me a wonderful looking drink after 20 mins of a wait. It arrived with whip cream and the chocolate drizzle. When I confirmed if it was sugar free, i was told that only the mocha mix was sugar free which translated to 50% of the drink was NOT sugar free. This is not good for diabetics. My husband orders the sugar free drink all of the time without consequence at other Starbucks. After scooping off the whip cream/drizzle into the trash. We left. Back onto the freeway, he could taste the sugar-definitely not sugar free. If the barista forgot to make it sugar free, no problem-be honest and remake it-everyone's human. He refused to drink it which meant not only did he not get the drink he was craving, we paid $5 for it. (It seemed like the drive thru got preferential treatment with the speed of their orders versus walking in.) We went to Starbucks over McDonalds because we needed to use the bathroom and figured that Starbucks' bathroom would be more well kept. Wrong-one bathroom was out of service and the other was dirty and the door didn't lock. We were on a road trip and realized that not all Starbucks are made alike. I think they could literally win the award for the slowest Starbucks in America. Took me 15 minutes today going through the drive-thru and their pretty consistent at getting at least one of my drink orders wrong if not both. They're consistently slow whether it's a holiday weekend, 5am in the morning when they first open, or just a regular normal day of the week/weekend. This is a convenient location off 99. However, whether you use app or go inside or drive thru, this location is EXTREMELY SLOW AND INCOMPETENT! They are constantly out of items and when you do use app and go pick up, they argue with you that you didn't place order. After having to show PAUL my receipt on my phone, 30 minutes after order was placed, I finally got my drink and meal item. I will just choose another location from here on out since they are such a let down. read more

Probably one of the worst starbucks I've come to. I went inside to get a grande passion tea lemonade and it took them more than 10 minutes to make it. I can understand if they had customers inside or people in the drive thru. I was the only one inside and there were only 2 cars in the drive thru. So annoyed with this location. Ordered a tea and two non warmed cookies (for my toddlers, didn't want them to get burned). Waited forever in the drive through, and received two hot cookies and my tea had the sugar packets caked to the bottom of the cup, obviously not shaken at all. I ask to have my tea shaken and let her know my cookies weren't supposed to be warmed because I didn't want my kids burned. She freaking felt the cookies in front of me and shrugged. Asked me to pull around since they were behind. Because I didn't just wait all that time like everyone else, it would have taken less than 30 seconds to grab new cookies and put my tea in a shaker. This is a fairly new Starbucks location alongside Highway 99. I remember exiting Applegate Road when this side of the Highway was merely empty. The only free standing structure here was a CHP station. Been to Atwater/Merced many times to visit family members. Typical Starbucks inside from a location near you. Clean restroom and good customer service with no attitude. Our order came out well, no problem. Good parking. Highway on-ramp (to south) and off-ramp (from north) is accessible. read more

I love Starbucks, BUT, they changed their tea brand from Tazo to Teavana. I loved getting the Tazo Zen green tea on ice; today I got the new brand and it was terrible. It has an earthy, alfalfa taste--just plain un satisfying. My green tea days at SBs are over. read more
