Once it's the overfill of ice, once it's the rude employees, once it's them taking over 20 minutes in the drive thru for a single drink, I can go on. I frequent Starbucks daily. I usually go to the one in Denham Springs on Range. After the Historic flood of 2016, that location closed due to damages. I then started going to the location on Sherwood. They were Amazing. My job moved to Essen, so I started going to the Corporate location. I must say the last 2 weeks have been horrible. I do mobile ordering. Like 3 days out of 5 last week my drink was not ready. Yesterday and today my Venti cup that is $5.45 was half empty. I order no foam I watched the barista put foam on the top. I ordered upside down, I watched her pot the expresso on top. She didn't even stir The half full cup 2 days in a row was the reason I called the corporate customer service. This is my go to spot everyday. With twin toddlers my days are busy so in order to keep me awake Starbucks is my bff ! I'm a regular but I always forget to check in lol.... my girls are Hannah and Brooke ! They know I'm on my way when that mobile order prints. My coffee is always hot and if (rarely) I've purchased food they're always on top of things. My drinks on occasion have been incorrect or cold, but that's when my girls aren't there. No matter what they're always happy to remake it. This place gets BUSY ! The drive thru is often backed up but with these 2 little ones I'd rather wait then get both of them out ! I have the app so it makes life easier like knowing when they're out of something before I order or go there for that specific item. Frequent this location often, usually friendly and get orders correct. My main complaint are the frequent out of stock breakfast or lunch items. This can be really any time of the day. Ordering via mobile/ahead really doesn't make a difference and at times the out of stocks items are not mentioned until you get to drive thru pick up area. I went to this location with my daughters and ordered three drinks and also something to snack on, on the road. I also got us the reusable cups and paid the additional price of 2.00 a drink. I was asked if I wanted my drinks made in the cup and replied yes. The employee ( a guy with long hair) give me my first drink no lid. I asked for a lid . I ordered a hot coffee, he told me the lids are down there grab u one.. that was red flag one cause every Starbucks I have ever been too has always gave lids to ever drink and considering I spend a extra two dollars for this cup and he couldn't even give me a lid. They're beyond incompetent at this location. I've order my drink, a sweet cream cold brew, over probably 20 times.For some reason the baristas not make the sweet cream cold brew like it is on the picture. At every other Starbucks location they make it like this automatically, but at this location they refuse to give it you that way. They told me that it "mixes automatically when you pour it". I'm not 7 and I have a basic understanding of density which these workers do not. They told me they would give me a cup of the sweet cream, and a cup of the black coffee and to make it myself. The cup, of sweet cream was completely unwhipped, no wonder they couldn't do it! It's basically pouring whipping cream into your drink. 10/10 will be going to the one on college for the remainder of my time in Baton Rouge. read more

I love this shop the most out of the others because they have plenty of tables to work at, & several outlets. I've also gone through the drive thru on several occasions and they're always quick. This a very poorly run Starbucks location. I am forced to use this location often if I want my Starbucks fix because it is close to my home. I have never waited less than 15 minutes in the drive thru ever. I don't usually go at peak times for it to be this long. Usually mid afternoon is when I stop and get my run for coffee. They are always out of everything and something is always broken, whether it be the credit card machine or blender. The drinks do not fit the standards of most Starbucks either. I want to preface by saying that I love Starbucks. I love coffee in general so Starbucks helps there. But this is a crappy Starbucks. The baristas are not great. I don't know if they are understaffed, poorly scheduled, bad management.. they are just always off their game. I have frequently received incorrect drinks via mobile order and inside the store. One time I received the wrong drink three times before I got the right one - it took about 25 minutes and I was late for work. The other day I went in to redeem a birthday reward and they used my regular 125* reward. I mentioned it to her and she rang in it incorrectly, again. The drinks are fine. The two stars are simply because this is a reserve store and I like the improved selection. District donuts is literally across the parking lot and they're nice and accommodating. This Starbucks on the edge of the Town Center strip mall is easily accessible from most directions and easy to get in and out and on your way. I have only ever used the drive thru so I can not speak to what the interior looks like. The exterior could be a bit better lit in the early morning hours, but the drive thru was clearly marked. The few times I have come, I have been able to get my desired coffee beverage of choice and easily gone on my way. And this location is close to my sisters house in the Baton Rouge, so it is very convenient. They do have some outdoor seating, which would be nice on days where the weather is good. read more

So, I have never had a bad experience at this Starbucks. Ever since they were at their previous location at Towne Center, it's always been a positive experience. I love the sleek coffee bar and the abundance of seating areas inside and outside where I can sit and enjoy my beverage or treat. It's always orderly, the service has always been prompt and my drinks always come out just the way I ordered them. Maybe others, whom are more frequent Starbucks drinkers may beg to differ, but as for myself, as very occasional customer, it's always met my expectations to where I cannot give it less than a 4-star experience. Why not 5? Tables aren't always wiped down clean after usage, so it's definitely not perfect. Great location though and definitely easy to get to. read more

I always tell myself to not go to the Starbucks because they never once had my drink right, not once... OK maybe once when I had just a plain iced coffee but when you get a specialty drink here never had I ever gotten it done correctly. It was the only Starbucks close by so I decided to go again. I ordered a pumpkin spice cold brew add caramel drizzle's. I ended up with no caramel drizzle, which i paid for, no pumpkin spice on top of my drink and it was so sweet that I took a sip and Shivered. And obviously I'm not planning to drink it anymore. I get that it's busy But ALL Starbucks gets busy. I only gave it two stars because of the tiny girl that was making my drink she was so busy she was going back-and-forth like a chicken with the head cut. (Even tho she didn't make my drink right.) I get that everyone has their own position but still if your other position isn't busy shouldn't you be busy helping to make drinks while there's literally nine other customers waiting for their order. Let me start off by saying I love all Starbucks! The baristas here are very nice and always provide service with a smile. My problem with this location is that I can never get bacon Gouda egg bites twice in one week...heck I'm lucky to get them once a week. Literally the last 10 times I've ordered them they've been sold out before 10 am. The Sherwood or Oneal locations don't have this problem and they are equally as busy if not more so. Somebody in management needs to do a better job of ordering. It's many many other food items as well. Don't offer food if you can't stock it. Mornings at this particular Starbucks is extremely busy inside and at the drive thru. I normally frequent this location in the mornings before 10am. Many of the baristas are friendly and kind. Corey, Raven, Matty, Ariel, and Megan are always there with a smile on their faces. Even when some customers are not as happy go lucky, they never cease to amaze me. It does seem that after the flood, they have gotten a bit busier. However, many of the customers are repeat customers from what I can tell. Majority of the baristas know the regulars and readily greets them. One drawback I do see is that when you do a mobile order, you have to tell a barista because it's behind the bar. They do call it out but most of the time customers aren't there when drinks are ready. Mobile ordering gets completed within the time frame and it's a great convenience. There have been times when they run out of items, but it's more of a district thing than just one store thing. read more

They get the job done! I've never had any major problems with this location. The traffic moves swiftly and the interior is fairly accommodating as is the outside with plenty of seats to choose from. This is a great improvement on the previous location for this establishment that struggled with seating and overcrowding. This location is my usual go-to-spot for Starbucks. I have a gold card and they treat me like the little queen I am, ha. No seriously though, the Starbucks employees are really friendly. I love all the perks that come with holding a gold card. Once you begin accumulating stars and start receiving rewards and freebies it's hard to scale back on your coffee obsession. I just love my fancy blended coffee drinks. The caramel frappe is my fave. I usually get a skinny grande caramel frappe with soy double blended. My new favorite frappe is the honey caramel. Yes, when they ask me how I want my coffee I say "the color of me" that's how I know it's good, heh. I do a lot of my photography work and edits and such on my laptop at the local Starbucks. They have good vibes here, the people are friendly, and the coffee is ahh-mazing. read more

Today, I did the drive through to get my free birthday drink and there was a sweet girl named Marley( I think that was her name). She wished me a happy birthday and it was the first time anyone at Starbucks has even been friendly towards me, ever. I got a very sad caramel latte today and can tell by looking at it that it was not properly made especially with an extra expresso shot. A lot of these Starbucks chains are completely disappointing and the baristas need to be retrained. Very rarely I will run into a few that actually know what they are doing. Quantity does not override quality work. The only Starbucks chain I find to be consistent in making amazing coffee, matcha tea, or refreshers is the Starbucks off of millerville in target. Lots of employees, but lousy service. It really wasn't all that busy compared to stores I've visited in my area. The man who took our order was flat and unhelpful. I am not a huge coffee drinker, so I had questions. I had to wait much longer than my son did for my drink, no fewer than four drinks were handed out to people who ordered after us between his getting his and me getting mine. The surly person who delivered my scone and his sandwich threw them down on the counter without saying anything. The counter was so wet, it splashed.
