Today I received the most rude service I have ever had at a Starbucks location. The girl working the register should find a new job. The first time I was in this location her attitude was noticed but I wasn't served by her. Today I had the interaction so I find it fit to speak about it. Specifically, the individual with the turquoise hair deserves a 21-gun salute. God, country, Starbucks. The mobile order in Bloomfield Hills was out of control this morning. I can only imagine the trials and tribulations these employees go through to not throw hands at two dozen middle-aged white women barking at them about a chilled beverage. They have damn near as much mental discipline as David Goggin himself to hand these women an oat milk latte with their tone of voice. Their commitment to customer service is insane; could you imagine pretending to have a good attitude while you bust your ass making a five-coffee order for a golfer in pastel? Nice Starbucks point in the Maple Lasher strip mall- spacious, nice cafe area and an inviting fireplace. I can see this as a great place to be study, meet up, or grab a summer drink. This location actually inhabits what used to be An old candy shop in the strip mall. Nice deli Ember's right next to it, and the Bloomfield Sports shop with lots of local swag. I was here for a week and my order aheads were always ready/ Baristas always friendly and willing to top off with some more cream. read more

This location was packed from 1-2pm for the surprise pop up party. All the workers were fast and very friendly. They gave away a free tall espresso drink to everyone, even if you didn't have an account. The atmosphere at this location is very cozy with their fireplace. I will definitely come back to this location in the future. It was very nice of Starbucks to make this offer here today. read more

Please note this review is regarding any visit between 6:30 and 8 a.m.; This is a beautiful Starbucks that is spacious and clean. I feel awful for the baristas because they are clearly working their behinds off in the morning to get the volume of orders handled. I have learned that you have to order your drink at least 30-40 minutes in advance if you want to walk in and have your order ready. It is SUPER ANNOYING to watch patrons walk in, order at the counter, and get their specialized drink before me, who ordered 20 minutes ago and has been standing there in the sea of mobile order people waiting for my drink. I understand they want to help patrons who just stop by, but waiting 40 minutes for a drink is ridiculous. Specifically today, three mobile-order patrons tried to cancel their orders because they had been waiting over 20 minutes. The poor barista notified them that nothing could be done regarding mobile orders. It was like a scene from Sparta. After 40 minutes went by from the time I ordered on my app, I got fed up and just left. There goes my $11......... Do yourself a favor and go to ANY OTHER STARBUCKS if you plan to visit in the morning. read more

I can't understand how this location is only getting 3 stars. Apparently, the folks who frequent here are expecting miracles and haven't been to the Starbucks on Telegraph, just North of Maple. The latter is closer to my home but I won't waste my time going there any longer, so I've become a regular customer at Maple and Lahser. How refreshing! The staff is efficient, pleasant and orders are always correct, the first time. Could it be better...yes, with a drive thru, but I'll take the parking and walking (need my steps in anyway) for the service I get here. I like this place. It's cozy if you want to sit and it's efficient if you want your order to go. It doesn't get any better than that. read more

This Starbucks is great. Their drinks are amazing, and the service is okay. Most of the time, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the counter to order, then about another 10 to actually get your drink. But the drinks themselves are amazing, so I still come here lots of the time. Try the holiday drinks if it is November or December, especially the eggnog latte. Overall, a great place to go if you want a great coffee, but slow service and a bit pricey. But all Starbucks are like that.:) read more

I asked the barista if they carried oat milk(as I'm lactose intolerant), and he said they did have it. I then ordered an iced chai tea latte with oat milk, a bagel, and a muffin. My bagel came out fine, but I did not get my muffin and they gave me a hot chai tea. I then told them it was supposed to be iced, and he took it back. While watching him make it, I realized he was using WHOLE milk, which was obviously incorrect and would make my stomach upset. When I told him, he simply said "we don't have oat milk" and moved on. This Starbucks is unlike other Starbucks in the area, they actually stock a wider variety of products then any other Starbucks within a 10 mile radius. Not all Starbucks are equal and you've been to as many Starbucks throughout Michigan and the country like I have you would notice the differences. But there's no Starbucks like the original Starbucks on Pike Street in Downtown Seattle, which I've been to before Starbucks nationalize it's brand. read more

I was really disappointed today to have to wait 20 mins for one coffee. The sticker for my coffee never printed and I had to wait there for nothing. I had to remind them to make my coffee and I was very upset. I had to wait for almost 30 minutes. read more

There is nothing I can say that would differentiate this Starbucks from any other. I do appreciate having one in the neighborhood and it is nice to be able to grab a nice cappuccino or hot coffee when I am in the shopping center, It is also convenient to meet up with colleagues here. read more

I love my local Starbucks! I may not stay and hang out, but I love it just the same. The staff here is professional and friendly- any time I ask for recommendations, they are happy to help, and on slower days, I have held conversations with many of the staff members. I'm usually on the go or on a time crunch so I use the mobile ordering through the Starbucks app a lot. My order is always correct and ready when I get there. The ONE time I had to wait, they apologized sincerely and gave me a $4 off card for another visit- SO sweet! I would say the only downside is that the parking situation is not the greatest, but that is not their fault. Keep up the great work! read more

I'm a big fan of this specific starbucks! They have a large number of staff who have been there for many years so I love being able to walk in and see their familiar faces. I drive 25 minutes to come study here during the day. Many times I end up having fabulous conversations with the regulars who read the paper in the morning. Another plus is that they have a ton of seating and when it's nice out they even have some tables out in the shade. The only negative is the large amounts of teenagers that come around at night. I'd recommend sticking with visits during the day! Overall, this is a great environment! read more

Every time I've come here, the staff is inattentive, immature and obnoxious. This location is comprised of a younger staff. Each of them seem to be a lot more interested in each other's week end plans & fave alcoholic beverages than customers' orders. I was here last night and typically, the staff was exactly that. One of the workers (with an insanely loud, high-pitched voice) was sounding off about how she was so stressed about school that she wanted to commit suicide. She was actually trying to be comedic. She kept going off about how she just wanted to jump off a bridge & fall to her death because her classes were so difficult. I get sarcasm in the appropriate social-circle but horribly inappropriate when in what-should-be a professional environment. In addition, she took her time reading a long text message on her cell-phone *prior* to making my drink(!) Furthermore, *three* of the workers were cussing like sailors throughout my 20 minute visit. "F" this & "sick of this sh*t".....I, eventually, turned my attention to the customers, both, seated & standing. Clearly, I was not the only one bemused by this appalling behavior. An older gentleman that had been tutoring a student, eventually, wrapped up the study-session because (as he expressed...) the environment was too disruptive. Other customers would, occasionally, glance over at the counter in disbelief. Yes, there were also loud teenagers milling about but the staff took the cake for loudest & most offensive. I, too, got out of there about 40 minutes sooner than I would have preferred. I wound up going to *another* Starbucks. Lol So ridiculous! This particular location is very poorly run. There is, clearly, no one in charge here.....but the *obnoxious* "staff". Unless you're running in for a drink & scone to take away-Don't bother. read more

In my 2 visits to this shop in the last 2 months, the staff did my cappuccino with only half of the cup filled. My last visit was worse. My friend and I ordered cappuccino again. I saw the young African American staff heat up the milk and poured a little bit to the cup. Then she POURED the rest of the hot and formy milk down the drain!!! She did the same thing for the second order. Most of the milk was thrown out, not given to the customers. Both our orders were only half of a cup. This is criminal! We will not visit this store again for sure. read more

I love coming to this Starbucks to get my coffee. It's a great location which makes for a very busy store. Jessica, the manager, is nice and goes above and beyond to make her customers happy. If able, she will have my drink ready by the time I reach the register. I most enjoy going in the mornings before work. Silvia, one of the baristas, is usually at the register to greet me and ring up my drink. She is so kind!! She always has a smile and never fails to put a smile on mine and other customer's faces.
