I enjoy this location. I stop here often on the way to work. The people who work here are always pleasant and provide good service and very tasty drinks. Not all baristas are created equal, and this place usually serves quality drinks. I like the layout here. There are some spots to sit, but it is not too large. They have a good area for their mugs and a nice pastry and sandwich display case. I usually do not get food, but I typically like their choices when I do. This day I got the sugar cookie almond milk latte. It was outstanding. I really like their espresso drinks here. I usually come for the shaken chocolate almond milk espresso, which is also phenomenal. My other typical order would be their cold brew. I have tried the cold brew at many other coffee houses, but if you like sweet cream or the other foamy flavors, Starbucks does it best. While I am at Dunkin's a lot, Starbucks sweet cream is the best. read more

Just had an odd experience at this store. After waiting 13 minutes for a grande cappuccino, I attempted to get the attention of "Liz" to ask if there was an update with an "excuse me, ma'am". She stone faced ignored me. I thought I maybe she hadn't heard. Another coworker tried to alert her to the fact that a customer was trying to ask a question and she never acknowledged that coworker either. I asked to speak to a manager to secure a refund (coffee still wasn't ready). "Aleena" said she wasn't the manager but was the individual in charge, so I explained what occurred and she said Liz was probably just focused on her work. She confirmed that she did have her hearing in tact. I am perplexed. But. This is also confirmation to me that I need to buy an espresso machine and stop giving this questionable company my money. read more

Three refreshers today, 1 very berry hibiscus and 2 strawberry acai. It's actually really busy inside this store. Whenever I go to a Starbucks I always specify. Light ice and the amount of classic is crucial, especially when I am dealing with picky people. My sister loves the strawberry acai, but absolutely hates the added strawberries. I was happy to see they didn't add them like I asked. In the past, other stores have added them then said "oh I'll just spill them out." Good thing there was no issues today. I always try my drink first. It wasn't as sweet as I always like it, and I overheard her saying something about 4 to another worker. All I did was ask for two more pumps. This happens often to be honest. When I ask for 6 classic, I watch as a barista puts 4 thinking I won't notice or does it somewhere else. I always notice because I get it every time. Good thing I tried it before leaving. This location does not have a drive thru which made our visit a bit longer than expected. Others got their drinks before us. A barista kept staring at us weird. We were dressed in dirty landscaping clothes. It's a daily thing. We buy starbucks every day we work. I'll stick to my other favorite Starbucks down here next time. read more

Not usually a fan of Starbucks but we won a gift card at an event and decided to use it. This location was the closest and so we came in. Over the years my brain applied inflation to my memories and I imagined that Starbucks coffee was $5 and up. When we entered and reviewed the menu I was pleasantly surprised to find that was not the case. Their largest Capuccino (Venti??) was close to that price. But we ordered one of their largest (Venti??) cold brew coffees (easy to make but plan 24 hours in advance) and an Iced Lemon and Chocolate Marble cake; our total was $9.70. The price for a regular coffee compares well with our favorite places; the difference is free refills where we currently go. The Barista was pleasant and efficient in preparing our order. I did not expect to find Starbucks to be such a nice experience. We seldom visit Starbucks and the last time we did, at a different location, was because Starbucks offered a free coffee to veterans and spouses. The staff there had a poor attitude in making and serving our coffees. But we would definitely come back to this one. read more

I ordered a coffee at 9:54 a.m. and didn't leave with said coffee until 10:16 a.m. When I asked for a refund, or something in exchange for compensation of the wait time, the barista just shrugged her shoulders and gave me a lame "sorry." I wasn't told in advance how long a coffee would take, but the customer behind me was given that courtesy and guess what, she left. They told her ten minute wait time. I wasn't even given that courtesy. And guess what, I waited patiently DOUBLE that time. Very bad form Starbucks, completely unprofessional and not handled well. Avoid this one if you can and hit the one down Woodward or at the Target on Telegraph instead. read more

A typical Starbucks with a friendly and accommodating staff. Today I tried the pumpkin spice frapp. Mine was ordered with extra ice, double blended, with whip a generous sprinkling of pumpkin spice, cinnamon and vanilla sugar (aka a la Robert). The pumpkin spice flavor was subtle to the point of being underwhelming. I can't compare it to the pumpkin spice latte but the addition of cold and water didn't make for a very good combination. I wouldn't recommend or reorder but I'm glad that I tried it as I now know for certain that for me caramel is my drink for frappes and not everything with pumpkin spice is good. The baristas were pleasant and did check with me to make sure that the drink was the requested consistency. For this I give this Starbucks an overall 4 stars but the Pumpkin Spice Frapp only gets a 2.5 star rating. read more

I ordered a drink iced, when they made it hot and I politely brought it to their attention, the barista was incredibly rude to me and then proceeded to make 7 more drinks before she fixed mine. When she gave me my drink she didn't apologize or acknowledge that I stood there waiting for my drink for an extra 12 minutes, or that she made it wrong in the first place. Starbucks has a policy that if the drink isn't right they will make it right for you... as they should. Paying $5 for a cup of coffee, it should be done right! read more

I should have reviewed this store months ago, or even sooner. This store and the team who runs it are something special. As I have visited 1-4 times per day for the past year, I've had countless interactions with each of these rock stars. Coffee is my drink of choice and this Starbucks location is my store of choice. In fact, I've driven far out of my way simply to get my perfect coffee from this team who knows me best. It's difficult to choose my favorite barista because they are all wonderful and work hard to provide the best customer service in the cleanest environment - and with a smile! I experienced probably the worst customer service possible. The cashier was so rude and disrespectful. Yes, we are in a pandemic and its hard to hear through the masks but you don't have to be rude and ugly about it. I paid with an E-Gift card which I never used before and was just so confused on how to use it, the cashier just looked at me. Absolutely disgusting! Our Internet went down at the office and we needed to have a Skype call to a supplier in Austria. What to do? Well someone suggested going to a Starbucks since they have WiFi available. So we flew out the door at about 9:30 and headed to the closest Starbucks which is this one. The first surprise was how crowded it was at this hour. We could not find a table. But there were three counter chairs and although there were four of us, we made do. So we ordered a few coffee drinks and they were all up to Starbucks quality standards. They were expensive but good. We were finally able to connect with our supplier in Austria, but it was far too loud in the Starbucks to be able to hear the fellow in Austria. And the connection was a bit slow for a Skype call too. We tried for a while but he couldn't hear us and we couldn't hear him. So we told him we would call him back in a few minutes and headed to another location with wireless Internet. No dings on Starbucks for the inability to teleconference. This is not what Starbucks WiFi is really for and frankly, I was concerned that we were being a bit rude to everyone else by trying to have a full videoconference in a public place. As a huge fan of Starbucks, I would probably avoid this location if you're a 9-5er trying to get a drink before work. Not only should you prepare yourself for a long line (as expected) but I have on many occasions waited 10+ minutes for my drink and then it was the wrong drink. =/ I may try the mobile app ordering ahead of time to bypass the line but I prefer to get my Americano fresh and steaming hot. The baristas are friendly here though, so it's overall just an average location. Not my favorite, certainly not the worst though. read more

Worst Starbucks ever........ They do not know how to give the correct change back and will argue with you about the change. They kept $10 of my money and refuse to give it back to me. They totally ripped me off and did not care. I was just at the money machine before going and all I had was $20 bills. They refused to provide a receipt and gave me a $5 bill and 8 quarters in change after ordering a Grande Cappucino. The Manager refused to count the draw and asks us to leave. Ambiance is nice, but this place is supposed to be about the coffee, which tasted burnt. I was disappointed in my latte.
