I've eyed Recreo for a while and stopped in with a friend to visit, and we were so impressed! We got a pumpkin latte and a lavender matcha, the latter of which is on their summer menu. They knocked both out of the park - so flavorful and delicious! We both tend to prefer sweeter drinks, but we had a perfect balance of flavor with our coffee/matcha. My friend also got a mixed berry scone, which was solid as well but he found it to be a little dry. I would definitely look forward to trying a pastry in the future - I was eyeing their cookies, but wasn't feeling it that morning. I am so happy I live so close and will definitely be back! The baristas were all so kind and personable - in addition to making great drinks, they truly connected with each customer and everyone seemed so happy to be there. We sat inside with all the pollen outside, but the outdoor patio nearby was ADORABLE. Makes sense that it was full when we got there!

The space itself is cute and inviting, but it could really use more seating and a better setup for handling takeout orders. It also seems like they may be understaffed for the volume of weekend customers they get. We likely wouldn't return on a weekend, as the wait just isn't worth it despite the good food.

It was a few minutes before 1PM and most of their baked goods were sold out which is a good sign especially on a random weekday. I am a sucker for Orange flavored pastries and baked goods so immediately went for the Orange Ricotta Cake and it was moist and lightly sweetened, although it could've had a bit more Orange and a bit bigger considering it's about $6 (before tip). The folks working were super kind so I would come back again if I happen to be in the JP area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering us to try a bramble for our first visit. It was so good we bought several more to take home! The bramble was well made, a slightly chewy texture and high quality raspberry jam. We also got almond cookies which were packed with almond slices that were lightly toasted. Would recommend for a snack or they offer various cakes and other sweets for catering or celebration.

The bottom of the bowl was slightly cold so maybe the DoorDasher had it under a heater, I don't know. Either way I wasted $15 on an açaí bowl that was gross. You can see in the two pics where I tilt it and it slides easily (because it's water). This was very disappointing for my daughter and she couldn't eat any of it. I've had one delivered from tropical smoothie cafe that arrived in an edible state and was delicious. It was just as expensive as this one and half the size, but atleast it was edible and yummy. Edit: Changing from 2 stars to 3. I called the store and the manager offered to remake it for me so if that's one good, this review can be bumped up to 4-5 stars :D
