My parent and I come to this Starbucks regularly after Sunday worship at church or US chef store. We usually come after 10:30 when the business getting less busier. My mom and dad both have a medium americano espresso while I order an ice lemon pound cake from the bakery and mango guava iced tea. The food taste great, the drink is flavored, also great ambiance. I like the coffee....i like getting a discount for bringing my own mug. This particular location...well for some reason the interior isnt inviting - the way its arranged make me not want to hang out. I know, hard to put my finger on why. I appreciate that some service items are "green" ie cardboard/paper. Eliminating plastic straws in response to global hysteria was a good start, but far more concerning are the clear plastic drink cups that rarely get recycled - maybe they could start asking "paper or plastic?" and give us option. So no bonus green star yet. At least using my reuseable mug means i dont add to landfills. Prices for coffee, man they're high. The rewards program (stars, etc.) is a real turnoff for me. Went there today to get something sweet since it has been a busy week and I thought I had deserved a treat. I had heard lots of things about the Horchata Frap but I am not a huge Frap fan so I asked if there was something similar I could try. The Barista was friendly and suggested the Cinnamon Almond-milk Macchiato since it had the somewhat same ingredients and would be very similar in flavor. I have never actually had a Horchata before so I was not sure what exactly to expect. My normal order is the Skinny iced caramel macchiato so I thought it would probably be something I could like. And oops, I forgot to order this one skinny, so there goes my cals for the day.. But back to the point, the drink was made quickly, I think it was made properly, and the location was nice. I think you should expect your average starbucks experience here is you go. It is close to the UW campus so you generally run into students or people working near by in the offices. It is semi crowded in the mornings and not really crowded in the day. You can get your drink fairly quickly if you want to go through the drive through not at peak work morning hours. read more

I walked in the door today 6/16/24 at 11:30 am with my SERVICE dog to quickly pick up an order I had placed online ahead of time (intentionally, so I wouldn't be in there for long with my SERVICE dog anyways), and while I was grabbing my drink, this extremely rude employee approached me and said "ummm we are cracking down on the animals we allow in here and unless that is a service dog you can't have him in here". If he would have politely asked instead of attacking me, he would have known it WAS a service dog. So I replied "he is a service dog". And his response was "oh...it's just that he has just been barking really loudly and disrupting people so unfortunately he can't be inside". I had literally been inside for under 5 seconds. He was referring to this huge mutt that was sitting right out front that was barking NONSTOP. My dog hadn't made a sound. This guy clearly was not even paying attention and didn't care to. Just attacking me because I had a dog and asked for a "pup cup" I then said "my dog is silent. You're referring to that dog over there". And he apologized and gave me my pup cup. Starbucks is known as being dog friendly. Train your employees on how to speak to customers and to. Extremely rude. read more

This review is for the drive-thru at this Starbucks, and while I'm not a fan of reviewing every Starbucks for the painful years that would take just to cover those on the Eastside, we had extra courteous attention here which was appreciated! Having driven thru the quite roundabout way of entering this drive thru, we were greeted well by the barista who took our order promptly. Since we had ordered an iced chai tea latte each, we ended up getting asked to move along. This is where I'd knock off a star, they asked us to pull forward a couple car lengths while the drink brewed, which made it difficult and awkward for the cars behind and the looks they gave us were indicative that they thought I was being difficult. In fact that is where we had just been asked to wait. It took 4-5 minutes or so before the barista came out with a super nice smile on her face with our drinks. All that to say, drinks were good, baristas were great, just would have preferred to wait in a different location for the sake of those behind us. read more

This Starbucks is close to work for me, but I've stopped going here to avoid dealing with one of the workers. His name starts with a D or something (only Asian dude there). He has a very condescending tone with dealing with customers and its just the biggest turn off from this location for me. I've gone as far as walk in then walk out as soon as I've seen him working. I thought dealing with his attitude was something I could get past, but even his drinks aren't that great. I'm not one for writing reviews, but the experiences I've had with him are enough for me to care enough to actually write one. Love this location. It has the right amount of business without being overcrowded. They make my Carmel macchiato & frap the right way which makes a difference since I'm paying so much. This location is the same quality you'd expect from any Starbucks but it takes forever. I'm here 3-4 times a week because it's so convenient. But lately you see staff standing around while it takes 15 or 20 minutes to get you order. Operations are not as dialed in here as other locations. It used to be fast. Faster than most. Quality of food has slipped. Unsure if it is all locations or just this one. Low stars are attributed primarily to staff. I went in when it wasn't busy, many customers were in the seating area that had already been helped. No one was in line behind me. The cashier had little interest in what I was ordering, to the point I asked for a receipt to make sure my order was right. When my items were ready, they were placed off to the side in the Mobile Pick Up area for anyone to pick up. They made no effort to call out a name or look for who may have ordered any of the items. This may seem petty, but why as for a name for the order if it isn't being used? Or at least notify customers that they can't sit down until they get all their items. read more

This used to be my daily "regular" Starbucks where I'd make coffee runs for a ton of co-workers (hey, it got me out of the building and an extended break!) They were always friendly and got all of my orders right. Anytime I'm in this neck of the woods, I stop. North Creek Starbucks is probably the most consistently awesome Starbucks I've ever been a regular at. I work in one of the nearby business-parks and I imagine the vast majority of the customers here are people who work nearby. Not a residential neighborhood and not really a busy commuter stop either. The staff are the quickest I've ever seen. Organized, efficient and they've never messed up my order. They're so reliable I time my schedule to get off the 405 exit 10-15 minutes before work, stop and get my morning coffee at Starbucks, and get to work on time every day. They staff are friendly, make an effort to get to know their customers and are on top of their game all day. read more

Starbucks in North Creek, oh how I miss thee. I worked in this business park for four years and developed a deep, meaningful relationship with the staff. Okay, not exactly, but my boss' kid dated one of the Batista's. I'm sure that counts! This is a great Starbucks. I've heard a rumor that it's actually one of the busiest in the world. This staff can handle it. The drive-thru is NEVER slow. I've timed. My coworker and I loved the days that the 8 car drive-thru was faster than the lobby. I miss our adventures with her crazy, five step drinks, that 95% of the time, came out right. I miss the pause we'd get when placing a big order and realizing we'd slipped in "four stirs to the right, one to the left". These guys were ready for anything. Before I started my class at Pacific Vascular, I would stop by here to get my coffee fix!!! Anyways, the drive thru at times looks like an In and Out burger drive thru!!! Luckily the staff inside are quick and there are always alot of them in there (seriously like 8 ppl!!!) so you dont wait long. I will never come to this location again after my experience on Saturday. A few friends of mine suggested I try the anniversary frappucino that all Starbucks were having until 3/30. I was very interested in trying it and thought I would stop by on Saturday morning while running errands. When I pulled up in the drive through to order it, the guy taking orders said "We're all out of raspberry whip cream. No point in getting it then because I would basically charge you a $1 for a vanilla bean frappucino." Well, okay. I know it's not your fault you ran out of the whip cream but, saying it that bluntly is rude to a customer. For one he suggested I'd be an idiot to order one without the whip cream because I'd be "paying more". Yeah, and your point? $1 more doesn't mean anything to me if I want to try something. And his tone of voice was not friendly at all. I realize it's all about perception but, I worked in customer service for years, and I would have phrased it better than just "We're out." I would have said "I apologize but, it appears we are out of whip cream. Is there possibly another drink I can offer to make?" or maybe let me know when/if you're getting it back in stock. I live next to this Starbucks store for two years and have to say it is the slowest one I've been to. If I want a coffee in the morning I need to give at least an extra 10 minutes and that's not because of the line but rather the time it takes to serve each customer. While in the store I noticed its not understaffed but ill trained to hustle at the same level of all other Starbucks I've been. Today I went in and the person in front of me had many coffee related questions which is great. The problem is that none of the many people behind the counter ask to maybe start my drink so i could drink it while i waited or have someone else offer to ring me up. Its those little things that this Starbucks needs to train the staff to do. The coffee was great and the people were friendly. PS visit the new store on capital hill. This location is mismanaged. They have no idea what they need to be successful in the area that they are in. They are located near a large business based area in Bothell with Seattle Times, and the many Schnitzer complexes located in the area. I waited for 20 minutes for a bagel and a breakfast sandwich. I didn't get a drink or anything, but still saw 10 cars go through the drive thru AFTER I had already paid. They need more on staff, and the current staff as it is, is slow and too talkative.
