We decided on a few teas to share - a spiced white chocolate white tea, rooibos chai, and a hibiscus cooler (iced and non-caffeinated). The spiced white chocolate was fantastic. Our amuse bouche came out first - a delicious pumpkin seed savory small soup and it was fantastic. We eagerly awaited our tea tower - and it certainly did not disappoint! We are still thinking about the delicious spinach and artichoke pinwheel with olive tapenade - it was our absolute favorite. The savory sandwiches were also delicious. We especially enjoyed the clotted cream and lemon curd with the scone, and the desserts were delectable. We were stuffed by the end of our teatime! Our server was very helpful and despite it being very busy, we felt taken care of. I was at Starbucks on the hill a few times this last week. One day I was gifted incents from Smelly Deli University Hill Market and Deli, so in like with tradition on the hill and the popular crowd of Arab students I light some which altered the vibe and mood of the patio patrons in a very positive way. The day was beautiful and fun hanging out with them drinking our coffee and tea. Then next day I go back on game day and order a Grande Americano and a refill please!! I addressed my question to the minority female barista making drinks and as usual the arrogant male cashier spoke for her of which I immediately corrected him that her voice was all that was needed and that I did not appreciate his interjection. All the while I was burning my popular exotic incents on the patio. Of note: smoking is routinely allowed despite policy. However, using incents in a cultural experience does not meet the definition of smoking either way. Out of retaliation said male cashier comes out and demands that my friends not smoke and further that my incents be put out. This was an unreasonable and malicious disturbance of the customer experience. He literally misinterpreted and enforced policy in a way which actually punished a sanctioned and popular move to serve his own end, so I went back in and waived the visa gift card I just received and said "look what i just found in my pocket book. It's a gift card I won't be spending at Starbucks because of you..." Cheers!! XOXO read more

Zack, You are a very rude, arrogant, condescending individual and I am very surprised that Starbucks would let someone like you serve their customers. You were very rude to my girlfriend, literally huffing and puffing because she asked you to get a drink. You then proceeded to slam around items in the work area, and almost spill her drink while arrogantly and rudely tossing her drink when handing it to her. You look like an idiot! I would have embarrassed you for such behavior but decided to sit and watch, and it continued with other customers as well! You proceeded to continue this outrageous attitude with other students, particularly those who are foreign. I watched you slam more items around, complaining about how there are too many customers (even though there was only two). Slamming the ice lid like a child, etc You act and talk as if you are too good to be working at Starbucks, yet I doubt you are capable of much else. Starbucks, feel free to contact me if you would like me to go in depth about his attitude and behavior. Just watch the tape!
