The baristas were friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in, and the location looked very clean. I love this location. No matter how long the drive thru may appear they move the line efficiently. I always order the same drink: Venti iced white mocha, sweet cream foam, caramel drizzle in the cup and on the top. AMAZING!!! This location is one of two that get my drink precisely made to my tastes! lol The parking area can be a bit of a headache especially when people who do not drive well are present. One day I sat and watched them give my order to the person in front of me and I then had to wait on my PRE-ORDERED drinks again. Just ordered a blended lemonade and received a beverage that was half liquid. For the drinks to be so expensive, they shouldn't be a hit or miss. I actually go out of my way to come to this location. My drink has only been messed up one time and I've come here a number of times. The service here is always great. The employees are amazing. Every time, they make my drink taste so delicious. I love it. I am not sure how the ratings are so low. Even today, with it being New Year's Eve, and the store, being incredibly understaffed, the employees working are still super nice. When I got to the speaker and inform them that I have a mobile order, they immediately told me that they were running, super behind, and then it might not be ready. Exactly as I get to the window. I am soooo not a Starbucks kinda girl. I don't drink coffee, not a fan of their hot chocolate and I'm extremely selective about the hot tea I will drink. With that being said, I came in for a meeting and thought I should order something. I remembered my sister's go-to, the Medicine Ball. I ordered it and I've been a fan every since! This particular location has a drive-thru and it's usually pretty busy, BUT you wouldn't know that by the staff. They're extremely polite and friendly and patient with the customers. Especially a customer like me, someone who doesn't know the difference between a Venti, Grande and what ever the other size is. Beyond the excellent customer service, their playlist is FIRE! This was my second meeting at this location and both times, the music had me singing along and zoning out a bit from what I was supposed to be doing. Ha! I have no idea why my neighborhood Starbucks has such a low rating. I come here often and have no issues with the way they maintain the facility. This location is close to Joint Base Andrews so they are military friendly. A few tables outside for those perfect weather days & plenty of indoor seating & long tables for socially distancing. You can have conversations inside because the music isn't obnoxiously loud Ike many other locations. Finally, the staff are professionals who maintain eye contact while ensuring you're pleased with your order. Come for Starbucks offerings and a nice selection of seasonal cups and coffee beans. Worst gas station. Everytime I come here none of the pumps give you a receipt. You have to go inside to ask for one. I guess it's the ow wear way to save some money while inconveniencing the customer. The food is hit or miss. At times you can tell the food has been out more that's 12 hours as the beef patties are hard as rocks and the meat on the inside is literally like crunchy cereal. Now before I get into what my order was, I'd like to express the reasons I use mobile ordering listed by importance: 1) order accuracy, 2) time efficiency and 3) loyalty programs. Go inside, didn't see my drink but the Holy Spirit told me to look at the ready drinks. See my name and I'm floored. I ordered a grande ICED soy 5 pump vanilla latte. But instead I received a HOT soy 5 pump vanilla latte. BLOWN DOT COM! That was such an amateur move...like if Starbucks was in some type of Olympic event, they would have lost off the bat. My issue: your drinks cost wayyyy to much to @&$? up! How can you expect customers to have faith in your brand??? Your mobile ordering proved that it was an accurate or time sensitive experience. Instead it made me late to have to wait for an already busy barista to remake my drink and by this time, I had little to no faith in receiving what I actually paid for. So I normally frequent this location only because of the location. In addition to them having a drive thru. The young lady that took my order was very nice. I didn't have to wait in line too long. I ordered a basic caramel frap. I haven't had one in a while and I wish I didn't get it :-( It tasted like frozen coffee beans with a little caramel. I'll stick with my hot coffees. Not very good! This my local Starbucks. I have always had a positive experience with the orders as well as the staff. HOWEVER, the music is so loud one might as well be in a club! It is so loud that costumers and staff have difficulty hearing one another. Order mistakes are made and order ready calls are missed. Customers have difficulty holding conversations doe to the volume. This makes an unpleasant place to hang out with a friend or spend time on a computer while enjoying a coffee.I have mentioned this to the staff a couple of times but there has been no change in the volume then nor in subsequent visits. I've spoken with other customers who are equally put off by the volume. I hope this store hears my message in the positive light intended....turn the music down...a lot! read more

I'm visiting from another state. I popped into this Brandywine location and went inside. Not only did it take 20 minutes to get my coffee, but they attempted to give me a smaller size! When I let the guy know it was incorrect he looked at me as if I had a problem! I had to remind him that he took my order, didn't ask for my name or give me a receipt. I've gone back and forth on what to rate this Starbucks. I've started placing my mobile orders when I'm 15 mins or more away and when I get there, my drink is still not ready. I walked in the other day and there was a guy passing out food/drinks. I politely asked if my mobile order was ready and his response was "I don't work on the bar." Ummm sir, you work at Starbucks, you could've easily read the name on the drinks that were ready or checked with someone regarding the status of my drinks. Overall, customer service is not that great at this location and the drinks are more of a miss than a hit. Let me start by saying 1 star is generous. I wouldn't even give them that if it was an option. I have gone 4 times and every time has left a bad taste in my mouth. The first time, my order was extremely slow. I just assumed they are short-staffed, I let it slide. The second, the complete mess up my order and they were still extremely slow. I didn't even feel like going back I just have my drink away. The third time was worse, my friend and I decided that we wanted to go somewhere else to study and we were there for 30 or 40 min before we were basically chased out because the staff was loud and rude. They were obviously trying to make us uncomfortable, because we're were there 2hrs before closing..... So we left, I have never been to a Starbucks so horrible, I have never hated it before. Word to the wise about this location , be very diligent and deliberate to taste your drink before you leave. Ordered a medicine ball today and when I tasted the drink it was missing the lemonade that is one of the primary ingredients of the drink. Never did the person taking the order say they were out of the lemonade. Doing do would have made me make another choice. I trusted Starbucks, that's why I spend almost $4 for a tea. Now that trust has been tainted, at least for this location. Yes I did call back and was told that they do have the lemonade. The manager suggested I return and they would remake the drink, however by the time I realized the drink was horrid I had travel a long distance away. I love Starbucks!! I was excited to have one open that is bigger than the one in Clinton. However, I have given this location multiple chances too many at that. Every time I go there I have to wait more than 10 minutes. In my first experience, I went 2 hours before closing to do some homework and they were doing closing duties which is fine. The staff was being very loud and disrespectful, I felt as though I being rushed and was not wanted there. The last time I went I requested a drink with Almond milk, I waited 45 minutes for the young lady to ask me if I wanted to use another milk because they were all out. As someone who use to work here, this establishment is absolutely horrible. The store manager lets supervisor curse people out while their working and the the district manager doesn't do his job. The store manager also never came to work like she's supposed to and while her boss (the district manager) knew, he did nothing. First I would like to say my wife and I have gone numerous times since the opening to try to give them some time to get everything together and it still is not right! The last three times specifically our drinks were both made wrong compared to drinks we've had at the Waldorf and Laplata Starbucks. I order a grande Carmel frap and my wife orders a grande Mocha with hazelnut made with almond milk. Pretty simple right? But for some reason they keep screwing the drinks up. This Starbucks location is terrible. One of the worst I've been too. The staff is always friendly, but there is just no care or standard for our coffee. My order is always wrong and inconsistent. I only order a caramel frap. When I go to grab my frap it never has caramel. And the staff has to know better because each time it happens the response is "why would they do that knowing a Caramel frappe comes with Caramel". I've concluded that they just don't care. Second, my caramel frappe always taste like sweetened milk, with absolutely no ice, no ice chips, nothing. Aren't frappes supposed to be a little icy? And lastly, they're always out of everything.
