We were in the Cedar Hill area heading into Dallas for an appointment. It was time for some "morning munchies" and Starbucks was close by so we decided to stop in. Walking in the staff greeted us with a warm and sincere "Welcome to our Starbucks!" The behind the counter associates all looked up with smiles on their faces. What a great way to be greeted! My wife decided on a Cinnamon coffee cake and Caramel Crunch Frappe, just what the doctor ordered. I opted for the Bacon, egg and Gouda sandwich, cream cheese Danish, Caramel Macchiato...yummy! After a short wait, our name was called, and it was time to enjoy all our deliciousness. Everything was so good. Busy but today my chestnut latte was just glorious! I only had to wait in line for 6 minutes and so worth the wait. However, as usual if you frequent this location, the drive thru is crazy busy with cars the around the building. As I said, the wait today was short. Nice staff! My order is always correct. I can get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The parking lot can be tricky because it's narrow and the drive through line runs essentially through the middle of the parking lot. Of course due to Covid there is no indoor seating however, prior to Covid, there was nice seating options for both waiting on ones order as well as enjoying ones coffee inside. There is no outdoor seating. Great location! read more

Went today to get an iced coffee. Waiting in a long line (it's always long) around 12:45pm. Got to the window, person tried to give us a hot coffee cup assuring us it was iced and there was extra ice. Husband asked three times if it was iced. She said yes. When I opened it to check, it was way overfilled and was clearly hot coffee someone had dumped over ice. It spilled all down my shirt. I was livid. Gave it back to them and told them I wanted it the normal way. Unsure why they would try to give me hot coffee poured over ice, but the fact that we asked three times and she assured us it was right is what makes me upset. Then after all that she still had the gall to show us the POS and ask for a tip. Couldn't believe it was not comped after that. Will not return to this location again. Terrible service, no professionalism, and clearly no common sense. read more

I had already been to the Starbucks on I-35 and both their service and drinks were horrible. I decided to give this Starbucks a try, since it's close but just in the other direction. I have never been here because the drive thru line was always so long, so I thought I would try early Sunday morning. Wrong again lol. I was on my way to take my dog to the groomers so we just sucked it up and waited. Surprisingly the line moved very quickly! I was greeted at the speaker box and the barista made me laugh! I got to the window and was greeted by the beautiful Ricki - with a slayed face and gorgeous hair who was even more warm and friendly than before. Ricki offered me a puppacino (I had never even heard of this ) and my dog loved it!!! All this wonderful customer service honestly made me forget I just waited 15 minutes in a drive thru line for coffee! And my macchiato was the best I've had in a long time. The employees are very warm and engaging. However this has to be the most disgusting location I have ever been to. The floors in front of the register are so sticky that my shoes even stuck to the pavement outside. The bathroom is disgusting (smell and cleanliness) with a loose toilet and soap fixture. Thank goodness they have paper towels in the bathroom because the soap is so watered down I doubt it killed any germs. At the drink pickup station, I saw more flies inside than people. The location was not busy enough to be this dirty and there were 3 employees and a manager. My drink was really good on a hot day but I will not be returning here! read more

I don't think I am a coffee drinker. The one I make at home tastes smooth, dark but light tasting with just a drop or two condensed milk that makes it fun and relaxing. The one I get at Starbucks, not espresso, but the hot brewed coffee is always too strong, too black, bitter and doesn't sit well in my stomach. Now I do love the egg bites. Compared to Dutch Brothers, this is too concentrated while Dutch is too light and sweet. So I won't recharge my card and will mostly stick to my homemade coffee at home. The staff do work hard and fast to get you served in a timely manner. This is my honest opinion. read more

We go to this location frequently and they are ALWAYS busy! The staff are friendly and I've never had any issues with my order being incorrect. My only complaints are the parking... the way the drive thru line wraps around the building, it's often difficult to easily access parking and the store can look disheveled at times. This location DOES not meet the Starbucks standard. Ongoing and continuous terrible service EVERY time, it has become their normal. At first I excused them using the pandemic as an excuse but we are past that and there has been no change. This is the worst Starbucks in Dallas. They did not have ANY Blonde coffee ready and suggested I get the Americana ? It was awful! Could not take it back because I had pulled off . But the edit for it was 10 minutes in the drive thru, meanwhile I saw an employee that apparently was on a break on the opposite side of the counter inside the store feeding another employee food!!! How unprofessional.... tried to take a pic, because seeing is believing, but it did not come out well .... Bad service. I had a feeling I was going to have a bad experience. The second I ordered my coffee the guy was already rude and ugly. When I got to the window I payed with my app he gave me my coffee which felt very light. I confronted him about it he got very offended and was telling me that the whip cream melted. Like no sir that is not right I always get the same thing and never have I ever received a half ass coffee which looked like it was someone else's coffee and they happened to mess it up and just poured out the coffee with the whip! I pulled up to this location at 7:30 pm, noticed that the signage for their hours stated 8:30 pm Closed and yet i was informed by one of their employees that they were already closed. Chairs were on the tables as he had just finished mopping the floor. That was at 7:30 pm which means he and his other co-worker had already been closing things down at least 20 minutes prior. This is the worst Starbucks' location ever. Super slow. Bad customer service. I placed an online mobile order and of course I get there and it's not ready. Then the employee behind the counter ask me are you waiting for a mobile order, and I say yes. My drink was behind the counter just sitting there. So I'm like, the designated area which had a sign that says mobile order pickup is just there for decoration, cause apparently they don't use it. Then I receive my drink with no sleeve. So I ask for a sleeve and she says, the customer had to put them on. So I'm like, ok which is it cause last time I came I didn't receive a sleeve because you all said tall drinks don't get sleeves anymore, and now I have a grande drink with no sleeve. I'm confused?? Is there a reason when there's five people behind the counter, why I ended up waiting 17 minutes for a Tall Hot Chocolate? The time on my drink shows 2:32pm and I didn't get it until 2:49pm. I was just chilling close by the counter to hear my name and never cared about, "damn it's taking too long". I know two people behind me was served their drinks, but I didn't give it a second thought. Drive thru seemed to be running smoothly as I glanced often at the process. But when she slid me my drink and I saw the order tag...I was like "Dag".
