I wouldn't think this is a big deal but for some reason it changes everything from a quick fast food type experience into something way more refined. We could hear the other workers talking crap about us from the drive through. They were extremely rude. The guy who called evil had black hair and a beard. What's the problem here? Tall latte. That's all. One tall latte ordered at the register. Is that so hard? In the recent year or two I have been a little saddened by the customer service and level of passion when I visit Starbucks (any Starbucks really). I feel like most Barista do not take pride in making good coffee and tea. On this day that I visited this location I wanted to get my usual, but wanted more tea flavor vs. latte flavor. Ashley was so patient and helped me create me new favorite!! lavender matcha green tea latte but using green tea as the base! I've had this drink several times, and adding the green tea as the base vs milk was the game changer. It was a pleasure drinking this drink. OMG talk about a great laugh!!! I wish I Remembered the guys name at the drive thru but talk about laughing so hard that I Almaty ended up in the ER!!! I pulled up and his getting was awesome! I noticed that he must've known that I was the type of person with a sense of humor because it was perfect timing. This espresso lover is actually really liking the SB matcha tea latte. I had it made with soy milk instead of cow's milk ( recommendation from my sister) light ice and no sweetener. I'm told that there is a sweetener in the matcha mix itself and I find it doesn't need anymore. It is refreshing on a hot Arizona afternoon. :) read more

Update... they are much better in the morning now. I've become a regular and it is good to know things have improved here. The staff is a lot more friendly and accommodating. We use to have to drive further to avoid this location, but glad to see things have changed. The waits are not that bad now and the staff is quick and smart with how they handle drink orders. While out visiting my daughter we decided to do a quick mobile order for a few drinks. We decided to go through the drive thru and pick it up. Like all the other Starbucks, hours are NOT what they post on Google or Yelp. They are NOT open 24 hours, ever. They are not even open at 3:30 am anymore like they used to be. Your lucky if someone is there at 4, but depends on the day. Even if they are having a "shortage" of workers, it's not hard for management to update hours, all these stores are not accurate for hours ever. Closing early, opening late, you never know what your going to get. Maybe the billion dollar corporation should pay the employees making the coffee decent/livable wages to show up. I have been coming to this Starbucks about every other day for the last week. Today Johnny waited on me. The person in front of me had about 10 modifications to one drink. Seriously, I counted at least 10 (extra ice, double blended are two examples). Anyway, Johnny was very patient and apologized when she had to repeat things. He did this with grace and poise. When it was my turn, I ordered my coffee and a matcha water. He wasn't sure how to ring up a matcha water so I said, "I know the first step is hitting the custom ice tea." He put his guard down and seemed grateful that I wasn't going to be as uptight as the person before me. Learning takes time folks. Be patient. People in training are already stressed enough they don't need a pretentious person making it harder on them. read more

I frequent this location, as it's conveniently just a block away from work. And, I keep coming back for a reason. As far as customer service goes- total 5 stars! I've never had anything but a polite, friendly & kind barista. Actually, I've never had a less than pleasant visit on any occasion. With it being said that the employees here truly are wonderful (they enjoy being there & it totally shows!), they are also spot-on when it comes to their jobs. Even during the busiest of hours- the composure is amazing & never a flaw with orders! They are all very kind, helpful & patient. So please don't take it out on them if someone ahead is ordering a total pain of modifications to multiple drinks, a newbie is training or there is a delay due to high volume. I can promise each one of them is overly aware & trying their hardest to keep up & keep the satisfaction rate! I kind of admire their diligence & camaraderie. Today I ordered one of my usuals- iced chai tea latte, light on the ice. And a slice of banana nut bread with a side of cream cheese (also good with the pumpkin loaf). Perfect chai, perfect amount of ice & very decent slice of banana bread... decent enough I had to split it in half. They even offer to warm it, if you'd like. I frequent the drive-thru just as much as I use mobile ordering ahead to pick up, or actually going inside when time is in my favor. The experience is still good, regardless of method. And yes, the line might seem long... it goes pretty quickly, they are truly diligent! (Order ahead for mobile pickup if you can't stand to wait.) I often have to re-load my Starbucks card during my transaction, and it is also a total breeze. The only suggestion I have for this location & the reason for 4 stars: they don't keep up with popular food demand. 4/5 times I visit, I cannot get the ham & cheese croissant or the ham & swiss panini because they are ALWAYS out of stock. Same with the dragonfruit refresher (and you can absolutely still get the drink without the fruit mixed in... but it isn't the same). I would think after several months (well, about a full year, now) of it being THAT popular of an order demand, they'd finally start to stock/keep more of a quantity for the demand. But it is always the same answer almost every time, unless it happens to be a lucky day: "sorry, we're all out of those". It's nice they offer alternatives... but it's nothing close. I wish they would keep better tabs & stock on the most popular selections, knowing there is a shortage literally every week/month. But like I said- I frequent this location often & keep coming back for a reason. Food is just a bonus when you're stopping for your fave drink, so if it weren't for them constantly running out of popular edible items, I'd totally give it a 5-er for always being top notch in the profession as well as great customer service. read more

Whether you drink the Triple Mocha Frappuccino or an iced coffee or one of their classic holiday drinks, it's the same recipe at every Starbucks. Right? Well I think differently. Have you ever heard of the saying food taste different when you make it with love or when you're happy? I believe that the people at this Starbucks are happy, positive and put me in the right mood. It gives my drink a little extra something. I leave this Starbucks feeling happy, validated and truly appreciated... sound corny? It's not! When you have a stressful job and people are pouring their contagious happiness while giving me my coffee to give me the energy I need, it puts me in a contagious, smiling and paying it forward mood! This Starbucks is amazing!! Quickest drive thru I've ever been through, especially at 8:00 in the morning. They're so fast with food and drink, and the staff is amazing. Haven't been to this location before and was my first time. I went threw the drive through because there was no cars in it so I figured it would be quick. The service was ok and was a little slow. I sat there at the window for almost 10 minutes before I was even greeted but the employee was nice but a little short. I got the smoked shoulder bacon breakfast sandwich because it looked amazing on the order screen (as usual lol), and when I got it in my car it also smelled fantastic too. The only complaint about it was the meat was super fatty and almost inedible, and no sauce of any kind so it was dry too. Other then that I would say the sandwich was just ok but I wouldn't recommend it or order it again. Overall rating for the whole experience there would be a 3 out of 5 stars. read more

My first time here. It was during the morning rush and Baristas Chynna and Thein were super friendly and gave me a warm welcome. My food and drinks were delivered accurately and quickly. The tables and floors were clean. The condiments were fully stocked. The mobile orders were ready before the customers came in to pick them up. AI have to give it a try sometime!!
