The service was efficient, although hearing the barista speak in the monotone voice didn't quite give off the best vibes. It's 8:27p at their local time and I understand that it may have been a long day, but conversation didn't need to be robotic. If this was the case, it may be better ordering from a kiosk or the app. Mobile pick-up was indeed an option so perhaps better go that route. I ordered a grande caffe latte that was priced at $7.75 when it usually charges at $5-$6. I suppose the location has much to do with it but WOW. That's quite the upcharge. Long line at 6 in the morning. I do believe that was the time we got there. They were just opening up. The cashier was not a happy camper and should not be waiting on anyone with her attitude. There was a small older lady full of life and smiles making food. SHE should have been the one waiting on customers. I ordered a coffee and asked about the water. The girl could not find the one I showed her. But when she went back to put the wrong water away she came back out with the correct water. I guess she finally woke up. I ordered banana nut bread and had it warmed. But they don't have butter. What? I get it at other Starbucks. Why don't you have it here? My visit was on 2/22/23. I have to acknowledge these two young ladies, hannah and tristen for working so diligently and efficiently with little to no help, they did an excellent job multi-tasking and making sure customers where taken care of and joyful about there starbucks. Starbucks is my go to place for coffee drinks so no surprise I venture here while at the airport. This place has a line that never ends. Every time I come it's packed. Here is the catch there are several other Starbucks locations at the airport. The people that work here are typically nice. The prices are airport range. The wait to get your food or drink is insane. They may not get your food item accurate. The oatmeal was soupy 10 minutes later and then they remade it to do it again. Airport brand new Starbucks really, really sucks. First of all this Starbucks is in the new part is A terminal. And it's brand new. Second, it opens at 5:30, but it's 5:34? And there is a line. People know it supposed to be open but it's not. Hell, Body Works and magazine rack has been open for 34 minutes already. But you can't get coffee. Third, the cashier can't get anyone's order correct. The lady in front of me plane is boarding and the cashier is yelling at her staff. She wants an ice coffee, is that difficult? Then I asked for a small signature blend, but they were making tea? Did I mention this is the airport? There are hundreds of people trying to catch the early flights out of Charlotte. They have a good number of collectible city mugs for both North Carolina and Charlotte. Their pastry shelf does not look appetizing having seen 2 fruit flies lingering in the croissants. Although I told the cashier and she said that's not the food they serve and the food inside are display only. First let me say that I am keto - so I am very cognizant of the number of carbs I ingest - because I limit them to 20g a day - have lost 250+ lbs and am still on my journey. This context is needed to understand that a specific order at Starbucks is a treat - and I intended to indulge in one today. I went to the concourse C store and via a mobile order - ordered my usual - Venti iced coffee, no classic syrup (sugar water), 5 pumps of the sugar free vanilla syrup, 1 packet of stevia and heavy cream (lowest carb milk option). I then watched the woman make my order - her "interpretation" was: At LEAST 12+ pumps of syrup, until I stopped her she was about to use 3 packets of stevia and after looking at the container and seeing it said "half and half" she used that. When she handed me my drink, I said "you just used half and half and I ordered heavy cream". I was informed "there is no more iced coffee to remake it". When I said next time you should tell someone if you're out of heavy cream!"....to which I was told "we aren't out of it, I just didn't use it". I had one sip of the drink - it was undrinkable due to all the syrup - I threw it away and I will NOT go back! This was unacceptable! Been to this spot a couple of times and they are sllllooow! The Starbucks in the main food court and concourses are much more efficient and well ran. In fact, as I stand here, I've actually watched two potential customers walking away from the line because they've been here so long --and not because they're going to miss a flight. This Starbucks is located in the baggage claim area on the lower level and sells everything you'd expect from a Starbucks with snacks, sandwiches, and drinks. There is no seating, its just a carryout location only. In the past, my order has always been correct, and prices are average for the area --meaning not airport pricing, but regular Starbucks. Overall a decent location --they just need to speed it up! read more

If I could leave zero starts I would. This is BY FAR the worst ran Starbucks that I have ever been to. Waited over an hour for a drink (that I never received even asking multiple times) before I had to leave because my plane was boarding. I wouldn't have a problem with the wait if the workers were busy, but they weren't. Out of the 6, only 2 were actually working. The rest just standing in the corner on their phones, while there were multiple customers waiting. I didn't receive a refund or even an apology. Whenever customers would ask about their drink workers would roll their eyes and walk away. This location of Starbucks is inside the Concourse B Terminal in the Charlotte airport. Therefore, it's convenient if you're traveling and need to get your caffeine on. With that said, the location is very small, and sometimes the lines are quite long and move a little slow. Also, I don't know what is up with this, but the cashier had to actually type in my Starbucks card number off of my iPhone passbook!!! Is it really true that this location is not set up for me to scan the iPhone passbook barcode for my Starbucks card??? My experience consisted of the following: - Long, long, LONG line of travelers fresh off red-eye flights. - An entire team of baristas hustling around behind the counter to fill everyone's drink requests as soon as possible, lest we all fall down from fatigue. - General confusion as to how it could possibly take so long to fill coffee orders when there were that many baristas. They did not offer the normal snack selection of the Starbucks I'm used to (no protein boxes... WHAAAAAAAA?!?!?!) but the granola they did offer did the job. Hey! A little Starbucks stand has opened across from the Concourse B Bojangles! It is small and offers no seating to speak off, but it is Starbucks caffeination at the end of this otherwise desolate wing. I often find myself here for 6 am flights (was it worth saving $10?) and the only coffee around is from The Great American Bakery... not exactly a treat. Get ahold of your quality control. I just ordered a simple white chocolate mocha frappuccino with no whip cream and sub. whole for 2% milk. The venti sized drink was extremely watered down. The young lady that took my order at the register remade it correctly. The original barista complained that she put everything in it and had an attitude. She didn't bother getting an attitude with the white dude next to me. Obviously it was made wrong because that same gentleman complained about the same thing. Why is his java chip frappuccino white? You really need to train the black young lady. She seemed very overwhelmed. This is coming from a black guy. Also make sure they wear a name tag so we can point out the poor service of that particular worker. To the young lady that took my order...thanks for the great customer service.
