Great food and coffee convenient place just to sit down and relax while running through a busy airport because location is so convenient

A coffee shop during the day, and a bar at night. It serves local Counter Culture Coffee in Concourse D.

Great service, and very good coffee! I was so pleased with the vanilla oat milk latte that the gentleman behind the counter made for me. He knew exactly what I wanted. It's funny because all I asked was, "Do you have any specialty coffee drinks?" It's just that the coffee menu seemed very basic. He knew where I was going with that. Then he proceeded to make my latte after asking if I like vanilla. I trusted him completely. I didn't even mention that I like oat milk. It was so intuitive. The latte was perfect! They serve Counter Culture which is a local Durham coffee roaster. I can totally see why there is a long line during the early morning hours. I missed getting that good cup of coffee the first time I passed through the airport on my way to Montgomery. I didn't make that mistake on the way back to Tampa. What is so cool about this place is the sitting and working area. It's so comfortable and hip, with cool music. It's a coffee shop during the day, and a bar at night that serves cocktails. It's a great stop in between flights.

Grossest Mango Margarita I've ever had. Who puts Rum & Sprite in a Margarita & charges $25 for it???
    Jill M.

Worst most expensive margaritas ever. Positive the server used Rum instead of the listed Don Pablo Tequila - Sprite??? - and a terribly sweet fruit syrup concoction. FOR $50. Never go there again.

The CommonSpace is conveniently located in a corner spot before E gates and on the way to the D gates. This location used to be a very busy Starbucks but it looks like they've recently changed it to an eatery/bar called the CommonSpace. I stopped here on a Saturday morning in hopes to get a quick bite to eat before my flight out of the D gates. The egg white, mushroom, swiss on a croissant was very appealing to me but unfortunately they didn't have it in stock. I instead chose to go with a cranberry muffin which wasn't great. They did warm it which was nice but in doing so it kind of had an oven taste to it. Hard to describe specifically but it took the flavoring of whatever was cooked in the oven prior. There menu was nice. Breakfast, lunch sandwiches, coffee, cocktails, beer and wine. I didn't try any of the drinks. I'm a tea drinker but didn't see any options for tea (also didn't ask). I'd be interested in coming back and trying their breakfast sandwiches in the future.

Great music!!!! Modern and well light space to chill in between airport chaos. Just sit and charge your device or grab a delicious wrap or sandwich!!! We lucked out getting the last chicken wrap and glad we did.

Coffee bar, Glass case of grab & go, drink prep area

The perfect stop at Charlotte airport! Excellent coffee drinks, paninis/wraps/croissants. Even Expresso Martinis with craft cocktails & draft beer. Super friendly people make your request to order. Grab a small table or sit at long high tables to use your laptop & watch the airport activity.

    Cute space

I discovered this coffee shop on the way from one terminal to another in Charlotte airport. It was about 8a but this shop was such an inviting space with fun music playing somewhat loud (just perfect though if you're in the mood!) and people ordering and drinking coffee. Mine was really good with oat milk as they serve local Culture Coffee. I felt the need to sit down and work from the space since it was so lively! Ended up working there at a small table (free airport wifi) for about an hour and I'm so glad I did. Service was quick and friendly, Apple Pay available and the coffee came out quick. They have food also so I'll be stopping by again during my next airport visit. It's near the mall section of the airport.

Stopped by and had a coffee cocktail. I don't like coffee but this was great! I had the Long Nights Early Mornings. Staff was very friendly and its located between 2 gates and the E food court! Will stop on my next layover.

New Coffee shop that replace Starbucks. It's awful

Terrible service. Rude and uncaring. Food was extremely greasy. Only redeeming thing was the coffee. The tables were dirty too.

It's 8:27p at their local time and I understand that it may have been a long day, but conversation didn't need to be robotic. If this was the case, it may be better ordering from a kiosk or the app. Mobile pick-up was indeed an option so perhaps better go that route. I ordered a grande caffe latte that was priced at $7.75 when it usually charges at $5-$6. I suppose the location has much to do with it but WOW. That's quite the upcharge. The drink tastes about the same as any other store so I guess that's fine.

The cashier was not a happy camper and should not be waiting on anyone with her attitude. There was a small older lady full of life and smiles making food. SHE should have been the one waiting on customers. I ordered a coffee and asked about the water. The girl could not find the one I showed her. But when she went back to put the wrong water away she came back out with the correct water. I guess she finally woke up. I ordered banana nut bread and had it warmed. But they don't have butter. What? I get it at other Starbucks. Why don't you have it here? My visit was on 2/22/23. Look to see who was working and never let the tall younger woman wait on people again.

It's in a good spot because several places use this building for trainings and there is nothing around within walking distance. Smart idea CPCC. I wish they had extended hours. Partly because i didnt have time to write a…read morereview but also partly because i was selfishly concerned that too many knowing of the existance of this bakery would hurt my chances of ever eating the best cheesecake of my life again. Alas, the time has come to share my discovery. Aspire bakery is a small bakery and bistro located inside CPCC's Harris Campus. It is currently closed due to it being summer but it is typically open mon-fri during the fall/spring semesters. Basically, it is the culinary department students making delicious soups, sandwiches and baked goods for all to enjoy at a great price. Cookies, cakes, cheesecakes, tarts, scones, biscuits, macaroons the list goes on and on...all were available here over the course of the last year. Now there is no telling exactly what will be in the bakery case at any visit, but i can guarantee whats there will be delicious. In addition to the baked goods they also have a few sandwiches, salads, wraps and pannini's to choose from and always a soup of the day. I ate here almost every week for the duration of their last run and i never once had the same soup. This very quickly became one of my favorite places to eat and that was completely solidified when i had a slice of their blueberry cheesecake. It was light and airy but rich at the same time. So good. Best i have ever had. Ever. Now just to make this even more awesome im gonna talk about the prices of everything. Ive never found a bakery more reasonably priced. Sandwich, soup, cookie and a drink for around $8. The baked goods start at .50. Oh and theres no tax and the funds from everything they sell goes right back into the culinary program! It is a win-win on so many levels. It was a sad day when i realized they were closing for the summer but i know they will be open again before i know it. And when they do i highly recommend that everyone check this bakery out.

I really just wanted a Chai tea latte because it was the cheapest one in the airport but they were unfortunately out of it. My pet peeve is getting to the register and employees are having a conversation and don't break their convo to acknowledge they have a customer. They were talking about a previous customer and had a whole conversation before acknowledging I was there. When I asked for white chocolate mocha the cashier got an attitude because she apparently was tired of making drinks, and she had a line earlier and basically complaining she had to work. The drink was okay for what it was. Expensive it's in an airport and I needed a fix. I chose to get a bagel from elsewhere because the food on display didn't look to appetizering to me.

All they had displayed were premade sandwiches. I asked one of the staff members if they have any chocolate croissants. She went to the back to get the croissant for me. They have cold brew coffee. I don't recommend it. It was like drinking coffee infused water. The chocolate croissant was dry and tasteless. The service was average. It could have been a much better visit had all the bakery items been displayed. Honestly, I didn't know that they had other items in the back. I found out later that the online menu has Viennese specialties and desserts. I didn't see any of them. It just looked like a sandwich shop. I'm just guessing by the higher rated reviews that their sandwiches are delicious. Stick with the sandwiches, and maybe you'll have a better experience. There are better breakfast & coffee options between Concourse D & E.
