I usually love coming here even if they get it right or wrong! Typically but that's because the employees! That we're "Here" Then, they've always made up for it with their attitude!. but.. as of recently I think they got a new set of employees, and they seem to not be trained to be running the store that early they can't keep up with the load of orders that come in at the rate they usually come in, not only that they seem to not know how to make the drinks correctly at all!. It got to a point where they not even making the order until you literally walk up and say something! For example to day i walked in and waited for a good 8 to 10 mins as I seen not one drink get made for the front counter!, Then when I finally say somthing they start making my drink! OK - So this is our Local Starbucks! - We could/should probably walk there - But, I'm too much of a Lazy Fool to do such. I don't recall even one time entering this establishment - We also seem to go through the Drive Thru. Staff is ALWAYS smiling - My wife wonders, how in the name of G-d they manage to do such. Employees are lively and they are always quick to craft up nice refreshing and delicious beverages. Staff - as mentioned are efficient - so your not typically waiting on line for too long. Things can get a bit in the morning hours, from what my wife says - But, come on man! - Very cool decorations inside from what I have seen. They recently redid the place - not sure why? read more

This newer (as of March 2020) Starbucks is your typical Starbucks. Super busy in the morning, so use the Mobile Ordering to make sure you aren't waiting in line. The drive-thru is also nuts, but that's typical these days. Inside, you'll find medium sized space with a line that starts at the far end of the door, so you may have to squeeze by some people. With a line, it may not be too cozy to hang out with people standing next to the tables. The orders were always prepared correctly, even a new items (Pineapple Matcha) which apparently just came out the day I was there. read more

New Starbucks location off of Tyvola Rd where the old Hornets coliseum used to sit. This location has a drive-thru window and ample parking. It's pretty spacious inside with lots of tables and chairs to hang out in. It is new construction so it's hard to get away from the whole "box" feeling and there aren't any unique nooks or old fireplaces to hang around by, but it's definitely got a nice feel with large artwork on the right and high/airy ceilings. The drive thru window is behind the main counter... feels almost like a galley kitchen but it allows the line to from from the back and moves forward toward the front of the store. It's a nice set up since the pickup is near the door anyway for online orders and whatnot. Looks like they've revamped their snack menu as well....I didn't partake in food this go around, but the breakfast sandwiches look more enticing instead of what they used to be. Staff was friendly, it wasn't slammed when we came on a Sunday afternoon so it was pretty relaxed. There's a small outdoor patio with tables and umbrellas... ready for some spring weather. read more

A brand new Starbucks in a new development right of Tyvola Rd. The location is in a small strip mall that still is currently under development. As with other Starbucks, this location has consistently high quality drinks and food items. There is a drive-thru, but I opted to go inside the store. I ordered a ice coffee and to use toilet lol. I see they have 6 staff working today. And it's not that busy. I saw the toilet was dirty and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in days!! I don't normally rate Starbucks because they're all pretty standard and have the same product on a consistent basis! It's one of the reasons I do like going especially when I travel. It's nice to know what you're gonna get day in and day out. I've been staying at a hotel near the Starbucks for over a week.. And most mornings I get to have Desiree hand me my coffee and egg bites. My go-to breakfast and coffee spot when I'm in town on business. The morning drive-thru line usually stretches into the parking lot (which is terribly designed, but that's a different review), but don't let that discourage you. The team here manages to crank out the orders pretty quickly, and in nearly two months' worth of travel, they haven't gotten my order wrong once, which I greatly appreciate since it keeps me on schedule to get to the office. The inside is bigger than it looks from the outside, in case you want to sit and stay a while. Clean tables, plenty of seating, and quick and easy refills if you're going to stay and get some work done. This is a deceptively large Starbucks. I say that because, based on the exterior, it's in the corner of a nondescript mini shopping strip that contains a Panera Bread, Chipotle, nail salon, and another place. This location does have a drive-thru. Once inside, there's an expansive ordering counter as well as many tables & chairs. Due to the convenience of this location to my job, I've visited many a time either indoors or via the drive-thru. Every time I've gone inside, the baristas have been very friendly. During my last visit, there appeared to be some ordering mix-ups, however, they worked through them all as quickly as possible to make up for the delay. read more

I did a mobile order Monday on my drive to work and as soon as I arrived it was already sitting in the mobile order section! SCORE #1 Today I'm here and I had a pretty larger order for myself and coworkers. I walk inside again the place is filled with employees, drive they line is full no line inside but everyone's pumping coffee. I love seeing the hustle by the team, because at the location on S. Tryon they literally love like turtles and it's the same at the Arrowood location. This Starbucks has gone downhill so quickly in the last few months. I can't tell if it's because there's just way too much demand between mobile orders, drive-thru, and in-person orders or if it's just short staffed at all times or managed poorly, but a 45 minute wait time for a coffee has become the norm in the mornings. I have ordered coffee before leaving my house, driven there which takes about a half hour, and my order has never been ready on time. I have to ask about it each time and then they will start to make it. I think the staff just makes drinks out of order and then handles the next order for whoever is asking about their delayed coffee which makes the problem even worse. One time they forgot my order and I didn't find out after a long time of waiting and then asking about it, another time I had ordered a cake pop for my birthday and i grabbed my bag to go and it had written on it "sold out - sorry!" and was just an empty bag which I didn't notice until I got home (WOW), and this morning, I was waiting for about 15 minutes in the store before asking about my order (which was placed 45 minutes prior) just to find out that the order was sitting on the BACK counter and was never called out. It was sitting there the whole time. I think that was the first time it was actually ready before I showed up but it didn't matter because I STILL waited and had to bug the employee about my order just to find that out. After waiting for 40 minutes I went to ask and was told rudely they didn't even see the sticker so I left because I was now late. Worst Starbucks I have ever been to. We ordered 2 strawberry açaí refreshers- no berries, light ice & 2 bagels, toasted with regular cream cheese. After sitting in the drive through line for 25 minutes she took our money and gave us change and THEN decided to tell us they were out of cream cheese; which I just paid for. I love this Starbucks. The staff is fabulous. Today I was a little shocked to walk in at lunchtime and see a staff training going on and they were all having Panera! Then two ladies walk in with Chipotle and sat and ate like it was no big deal to bring outside food in. Well it's not a big deal if the employees are doing it. I visit this Starbucks about once per week. I work from home so it's nice to work from a different environment. This is a great location that is always clean and is never super packed. Every barista I've ever come in contact with was very friendly and helpful. I usually order a regular cold brew, a regular cold foam cold brew or a salted cream cold foam cold brew. Each time I have ordered a drink, it has been made correctly and tasted delicious. I will continue to frequent this Starbucks location and would definitely recommend it to others. read more
