Located near the Merchandise Mart and overlooking the Chicago River, this location has floor to ceiling windows with amazing views in every direction. Considering the layout, I am sure this place is frequented those who work and/or live nearby. There are plenty of table/chair combos; the perfect setup for laptop and tablet work. I stopped through on Saturday morning and there was a number of people already setup with their respective devices. They also have music playing in the background (at a very acceptable volume level) which for me, just added to the vibe. The staff, were friendly and helpful. Add to that, they did an awesome job of managing the line as it never got too long. As for drinks and food, no complaints here. It's consistent with the Blue Bottle level of quality I have come to expect and appreciate. Overall, I highly recommend checking out this location.

I tried this Starbucks to work for few hours. I got here around 2:30pm and it was not too crowded. It as a lot of outlets that you can charge your laptop or devices. I like how starbucks now has the cell phone charging stations on some of their desks and they work well and very convenient. Drinks are as standard as the rest of starbucks and staffs were nice. There was no hassle for connecting to wifi (it is difficult to have stable internet in some Starbucks locations). The only thing I would complain is that I think they play the music a bit too loud for me. I think it is fine if you are here to just read or work on computers. However, it is a bit too loud to have a conversation or even make calls. Maybe it will be good if they can turn down the music a bit so that we can have conversations in normal voice tone whether in person or on the phone. read more

I had an outstanding experience at Starbucks Coffee Company on Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown. The entire team was incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely friendly from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere was warm, positive, and very well organized, even during busy hours. A special thank you to manager Ayel for the excellent leadership and exceptional customer service. Ayel truly makes customers feel valued and appreciated, and it's clear that the team works together with great energy and professionalism. The drinks were prepared perfectly, service was fast, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. This location consistently provides one of the best Starbucks experiences in Georgetown. I'm not sure why people tend to talk about Starbucks *in general* when they review particular stores. Sure, Starbucks has good products and drinks, but they're the same recipes and baked good in every store. It's a system, and it works. There's no need to review THAT a thousand times. Reviews are supposed to be for *each particular* location - which definitely have differences in quality of service. That being said, I think this is one of the friendlier Starbucks locations . They can be a bit rushed when it's crowded, but overall the employees are very polite, on top of things, and fast with orders. read more

Don't know which part is worse with this location, the WiFi or the bathrooms. Everything else is fine, but WiFi is slower than a turtle when it's busy and decent at best when there's not a lot of people. Bathrooms look like they've been used by every single homeless person in Chicago at one time and then the crew didn't clean it for three days. Seriously, every time I use their bathroom I feel like I need to be de contaminated within 60 seconds with two bottles of bleach before I come down with something that can't even be pronounced. I dont know how the females do it. read more

I met my bat-shit crazy aunt here for a quick "nice to see you / hopefully you dont know where I live and that's why we are meeting here" drink. I am giving 2 stars because I come here often and I love that it's always open, because I'm such a nite owl. But I'm sorry, when I ask for something to be made with Soy milk and it is made with regular dairy, it's pretty upsetting. I am both vegan and lactose intolerant and I never eat dairy products so taking a big drink from my cup was quite a shock and very disappointing. Not sure what the problem is but the baristas need to be more careful. read more

Fought the line to order my drink here as I do daily. The woman overcharged me for my beverage and refused to rectify the price so I told her I didn't want the drink. In response, a short, plain looking mousy-brown haired white girl said something about me to her coworker then laughed in my face. This is my favorite Starbucks. It is huge, there is lots of traffic, and I love sitting around here on a cold day. Sometimes, I fall asleep on the couch by the faux fireplace and wake up and find that an hour or two has passed - and I've never been pestered by employees for doing so. The bathroom gets a little trashed now and then, but they're quick to clean it up if you mention there's a problem. read more

Raising his voice towards some of the people that were just asking questions. Patience doesn't exist here... and It's overly crowded! Due to the fact that it is open 24 hours, you can imagine the amount of X-Men (But these ones don't have special powers) that come and go through this place during the late hours.
