When I first walked up to the location it didn't scream coffee shop from the entrance but once I got in the store I was greeted by all the staff with warm friendly smiles. While I was waiting for my drink the staff was doing a great job multi tasking talking to customers/ making drink orders /staying busy. When I dropped my yummy cake pop the manager was so quick to see and got me another one! I'm not much for reviews but my drink was one point and I walked out of Starbucks a very happy customer! Have came here several times and I don't understand what it is that so complicated of taking an order for a coffee drink and serving it to a customer. When you paid 6 to 7 dollars for a drink and you have a multi million dollar organization managing this service why are they still failing to provide these drinks. I don't know if this is location or Starbucks in general but they are filling their original business model. read more

So incredibly pleased with this Starbucks! I come here all the time along with my coworkers, we are only about a block away. This morning I was here at 7am on a Friday. It's Friday so I'm sure more people get coffee on Fridays (because we love coffee Friday's) let alone 7am on a work day. Also remember this Starbucks is located right next to Skyway. As my coworker and I sat back and waited for our drinks we witnessed so many unpleasant people. People who expect their coffee 30 seconds after they order it. I witnessed such a good Starbucks team handling this busy and I'm sure stressful morning. With the amount of mobile orders, people ordering when they come in, drive through PACKED with cars, all while making breakfast sandwiches and making drinks to be perfect. One lady who walked in and ordered then waited in line for her drink. No later than 2 minutes starts complaining she is late to work. My friend and I looked at each other shocked, because it's no ones fault except hers for poor planing of her timing. I watched a Starbucks barista (he's worked there for a long time and is SO nice) offer her a refund, that he would make her drink right away, as she was running out the door. Another customer complained that his mobile order was made incorrectly and he didn't want it, they offered to remake it and he said no. So they gave him a card for a free drink. This man walks outside and a minute later walks in, picks up the drink he didn't want and left out the door. I give a huge kudos to the Starbucks team who was working this morning. While it was busy and people were rude you continued to smile and do everything to make them happy. I have had so many good experiences here. The staff is always so friendly, and my drinks and food is always made perfect!! Also in the city (Palo Alto), I went to a Starbucks at 7am and waited for over 45 minutes for one drink, but didn't see one upset person that morning. This was my first time in . They haven't been open very long at thus location , but the service was great! A friend and I purchased some food and coffees and hung out and chatted for awhile. The interior decor is pleasant. Nice and quiet in this location , which we both liked :) I don't go to Starbucks very often but this location has all my business . read more

I just couldn't believe what I saw!! And the response from the staff Wow!! So I pull in for a Coffee and some relax time time. As I walk in a see a guy (not to clean looking) sleeping in a chair. Nobody was interested in sitting close to. I figured hey maybe they didn't notice and I came to relax so I should say something. My turn came up I made my order and let the barista know they had a fellow sleeping where people wanted to sit. She replied they knew and it was fine. I said people are avoiding the entire area around him and she said she would let someone know. They did nothing I had my coffee across from this person as no other spaces were open. Crazy nothing ever was done. Not very professional Starbucks Bad enough they get the order wrong or send my breakfast out in the drive thru. I've given this location so many chances. Worst Starbucks in Chico. Service is beyond slow. Drive thru is pointless. If your willing to hang out for a half hour for your coffee, then there is no issue. I have tried and tried and tried to like this place because it's a few blocks from my house, and I can stop there before work. I've given up going there. They rarely get my order right, and it takes FOREVER to get through the drive-through. I hope corporate will fix this location soon. Otherwise, I'm going to have to make coffee at home. read more

I really love Starbucks but the early morning crew here, needs some help! A bunch of us from work stop here for coffee in the morning. The service is OK, but the girl, Bailey, is incredibly rude every single day! The coffee she makes sucks, it tastes like hot milk! I have dumped my coffee out everyday for a whole week..grr! I go to this Starbucks because it's close to my work. I have never had a problem with quality, but their staff is a different story. On multiple occasions they have gotten my order wrong or they straight up forgot about me. Today I was given complete attitude when I ordered an iced water, because it's 109 degrees outside. I understand that I am only ordering a water, but I am a person who tips. AND when I gave her a tip (in quarters because I don't carry cash, sorry) you rolled your eyes at me. I hate how convenient this location is because they have the WORST customer service. Every Starbucks I've been to in the past has at least decent service, and even on top of that if they mess up they give you a raincheck type of card for a free drink. This place messes up consistently, and they are rude about it. I waited 15 minutes in the drive thru with out moving, I did get my dink for free but NEVER should a single car be sitting at the window for 15 minutes. A different time they had a promo sign in the drive thru, I asked about the promo, ordered it, pulled up to the window was charged without the promo and when I asked, I was told it ended 3 days before... So why is your sign still out??? It's like they heard nothing about me asking about the promo. This place is ridiculous. read more

My wife and I had the regular coffee for $1.95. It was good, but my Blueberry Muffin for $2.45 was not. It fell apart into a bunch of crumbs when trying to break it up and eat it. I had to press the crumbs together to eat it. My wife's Iced Lemon Pound Cake for $2.75 was much better, but the icing was probably too sweet. Good place to stop and have a light breakfast snack with coffee. Very clean. Good service. Plenty of parking. read more

So disappointed in this location!!! They mess up my drink every single time!!! The wait in the drive thru is ridiculous. I cut them some slack in the beginning to let them get things worked out, but I had another bad experience there yesterday.
