I asked Naomi, "Did you guys recently renovate? It looks exceptionally clean!" She confirmed with her manager, "We actually renovated four years ago, (2021)." Located not too far from Baylor Scott & White Hospital, making it ideal spot for patients and medical professionals. It's also, located not far from Costco. Outside area offers good size parking lot. Covered Patio is very large with plenty of seating, making this not your typical Starbucks experience. You will find eight tables and eighteen chairs. Furniture pieces are all spread out making it ideal for large groups. Once you step inside, it's actually pretty cool space, as well. It's designed with open plan, yet somehow, you feel you're in several different rooms, throughout. By the Mobile Order Pick-Up area, you'll find large open space. It offers seven tables and ten chairs by large windows, overlooking into the large covered patio. There's an additional large space. By the entrance, offering five grande, comfortable leather chairs on the corner of two large windows. Allowing natural lighting flow inside while you enjoy your stay. Also, there's a large, conference sized table with chairs, making it a perfect space for a remote location for work, or family game times. Restrooms offer very spacious layout, making it easier for people with disabilities. They do an amazing job being kind and helping you recommend a perfect pairing with your order. If you want a modern, elegant and clean space to study, work or relax, I highly recommend this location. I'm looking forward to returning! read more

Coffee.... Man I love the flavor of a good coffee. Great service, a good cup of coffee, and they have decaf! Since I don't drink caffeine anymore it is great to still be able to enjoy coffee! I drive in at 5:30 to get some coffee and some food before work and when I go to pay all I have to pay with is a $100 bill, a $5 bill and a $1. I give the $100 to the girl just for her to say they cant break it, but if I wanted to make my order smaller I could use the $5 and $1 but my entire order was $16. I needed the food because I'm starving here at 8 months pregnant but she said she couldn't give me my food (even though I'm trying to pay for it). I was so frustrated and hungry I just left since they wouldn't take my money and went elsewhere for breakfast. read more

Let me start by saying that the guy who runs the drive thru window is truly the best. He always has a positive and upbeat attitude and is always cheerful and welcoming. My drinks, however, are a different story. The baristas there NEVER correctly make my drink (it's a menu item..Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso). It never comes out as advertised. True disappointment when they can't even bother to fill my cup up all the way, especially when I'm paying over 6 bucks for a coffee. read more

This is the best Starbucks in town. The service is always fast and friendly. Drinks are made per usual Starbucks standards (good), food is fast and cooked right, ambiance is relaxed. If I want to go to a coffee shop in town, not knowing all of the ones in town yet, and know it will be good, I go to this one. Only gripe is that sometimes this one closes early for unknown reasons. Might want to call ahead. read more

The customer service here has been top notch since it opened. I always order on the app to pick up because the drive through can get super congested. The price point is ridiculous but that's just why this is a treat every now and then for me. Great baristas, decent coffee. read more

Beverages are just fine. No sanitizing of outdoor tables. Early AM showed left over spills from day before. A bit of an attitude when I asked to have table and arms of chairs cleaned, and told they only take care of the inside. Outside technically isn't open. No spray bottle of cleaner brought out. As far as Starbucks goes, this ranks as one of the worst store locations I've ever been to. The pro of this Starbucks is the location. That is it. It's on the HWY so it's easily accessible and close to many businesses, neighborhoods and hospitals. Since this store opened I have given it ample opportunities to improve but this location falls short in oh so many categories. Let's start with where you will be tempted to go, the drive thru. You're running behind, have kids in the car, it's raining, whatever your reason for wanting to stay in your car because you think it will be easier. Don't! The location of the line for the drive through is horrible. It often runs into parking from the other businesses because it is always long. The line moves EXTREMELY slow so even when you think the line length seems reasonable to jump in, you are almost guaranteed to wait an unreasonable amount of time. The service. Oh the service. Horrible. There is no pep in their step. Today I watched as the person who was making drinks acted as if there are a million other places in the world she would rather be and had no incentive to move quickly. I was the only person in line inside at this store when I went in. This should have been a quick thing, but of course it was not. This is quite common at this location. My typical drinks are a skinny vanilla latte or a mocha. I may be wrong, but I think these are pretty standard drinks. I can't even tell you how many times I've tried to order one of these drinks and been told they were out of sugar free vanilla syrup or mocha powder. Lastly, let's talk about mobile ordering. I have often thought to myself, no problem Sarah. You hate the service here and the drive thru is always a pain. Order via the mobile app and you don't have to wait in line or even speak to someone who works here. The location trumps everything else so you can work around this! The last mobile order I placed there, I was given an estimate of 5-8 mins. I showed up at the 15 min mark just to be safe and then proceeded to wait another 20 mins just to get my drink!! I wanted to say forget it and just get a refund, but the line was too long to get into. There were all kinds of people around me complaining to the staff about the same thing. If you don't have enough staff to balance the drive thru, counter orders, and mobile orders, you should probably consider discontinuing mobile orders. Avoid this Starbucks. I have made the mistake of going here too many times. My husband long ago said he would never go to this location again and I should have followed in suit. If you want fast service and prefer Starbucks, go to the Starbucks located in Kroger across the HWY. The line gets long but they are on top of their game. If you want a drive through or are open to something else continue straight on the feeder road and go to Gogh Gogh which is just past Barron Rd. read more

I go to Starbucks at least 3-4 times a week, so when we were in this area I needed my morning cup of joe. I yelped the closest one and this location was on our way to our destination. We got in the drive thru and waited FOREVER then when we finally got up to the window they were out of 3 different drinks my husband ordered so he just said forget it. Then we got trapped in the drive thru lane we waited for another 10 min! I am not even exaggerating a little. I know to have patience in line going so many times in my hometown. Someone needs to come in here and either clean house, retrain these workers, and teach whoever is the purchaser to keep high demand ingredients in stock. When we come back to the area I will be sure to map out another location because I refuse to give this any of my money. read more

Yes, sometimes the wait is longer but I understand they accommodate others in the drive-thru as well. This starbucks is super nice. My order was ready quickly, and they cleared a long line in a breeze. Most importantly though, the staff is amazing; they play Rock Paper Scissors with you at the register after your order, and they write little cute sayings on your food bags. One of the baristas talked with me while I was adding creamer to my drink and he was making a drink for another customer. This wonderful service brightened my day. read more

The coffee is fine. There are so many seats. Music volume is nice and quiet, and the baristas and very nice. But holy sh*t, I've never been to a Starbucks with such bad wifi. I came here to study, couldn't do that. I was supposed to learn about Classical Literature's reception during the renaissance period. Super-friendly staff, but I agree with previous reviewers that the drive-thru is incredibly slow. Even on a calm Sunday afternoon, I spent 25+ minutes in line waiting for an iced latte and hot sandwich. Food was hot and the drink was golden, but it shouldn't take that long with just a few cars in the lot. read more

My review of a few months back hasn't changed unfortunately. Service continues to be extremely slow and the store and pastry cases have live flies in them. We're is the supervision and quality control? I remain a loyal customer but will start going to other locations where the service and cleanliness are superior. It's a Starbucks -- you already know what the coffee items are like, and to their credit, they are almost always consistent with the product. Staff was helpful and efficient. This location follows the recent SB trend of making stores small enough to try to keep people from hanging around -- but it wasn't working here. We had a full complement of college students hunched over laptops, which may explain why the Wi-Fi performance was so abysmal. Outside seating area was very nice. read more

Even though the DT line is not the most accessible and backs up quickly during a rush, today it was moving. Order taker was very friendly and punctual, window worker kind and my sandwich, the double smoked bacon and cheddar, was very tasty with a unhealthily healthy amount of bacon. Since I enjoy a fresh and locally roasted coffee, I cannot comment as to the quality of their coffee but their sandwiches continue to deliver. 4 stars as it is still a quick service restaurant. read more

The coffee is fine - I mean, it's Starbucks coffee, so you always know what you are going to get. For the location it is SOOOOOOO SLOW. I've waited 25 minutes in the drive thru before...and that was with only 3 cars in front of me. Now I almost always go inside - where the line is usually shorter, but the wait time is not very short. On top of that, the staff is usually a little moody. They are probably just focused on the task at hand, which I get...but they look so pissed off. I've tested this theory since this location opened and I am convinced that the staff doesn't enjoy working there, helping customers or know how to run a faster drive thru. I will say, though, the bathrooms are always clean. read more

I've lived in many different cities around Texas, and I have to say, this location is the fastest and friendliest!! The baristas are happy to serve and are very welcoming when you walk in. I'm giving this Starbucks 5 stars for service and consistency. I've been here several times the last month as a rest stop on my trek home. Today they were outstanding. Josh took my order and was engaging, funny and had good energy to share. The barista who made my drink was the same. The London fog I ordered was perfect.
