This Starbucks is conveniently located because it is right before Costco. There is plenty of parking but you have to walk across the drive through in order to get to the front entrance. You do have to be patient when waiting in line and ordering because they do have a good amount of customers coming and going throughout the day. If you order ahead, I would check in with the staff upon arrival. read more

Literally came here during my work break for a quick coffee and croissant. The drive through took forever. Was waiting with only 3 cars in front of me for over 15 minutes. Rushing to get back to work now , I didn't check my coffee and when I got there, I noticed it felt light. When I opened the lid... It wasn't even filled all the way or anywhere close to the top!!! Nor did it have whip like I asked !!! and to top it off my ham and cheese croissant wasn't even warmed. Good morning Yelping world! Do you love your morning Starbucks? You don't have to get out of your car at this Crooked Hill Drive thru. I Love the way that different Starbucks become part of the community that they serve. I felt so relaxed and welcome here at this small cozy Cafe. The Staff here were really nice folks, genuine & friendly. The wonderfull employee took my order and explained a little about their Starbucks and what makes it Special. Over here in this corner you can watch the Sun come up over the hill. Wow, I love sunrises with my coffee. It was just one little table tucked in the corner but gave a spectacular view of the sunrise as I enjoyed my.. Get up-n-Go! -Cappuccino. Convenient location since we spend our lives at Costco and Lowes (which are in the same shopping center), but the wait is always horrendous. HINT----- I sometimes drive to the Starbucks right around the corner by chik-fil-a, and get rewarded with my drink within minutes because I made the effort and god knows I just can't handle anymore stress with two kids screaming for Madeline cookies in the back seat. RANT OVER! I have waited in line on the drive thru for 40 minutes once and couldn't back out because I drive a bus pretty much and the cars had me boxed in. Then when I ordered a "rice crispy treat", I had my ass handed to me by the 'Barista' since EVERYONE KNOWS it's a MARSHMALLOW DREAM BAR. Welp, for now on I am never saying those words. i've never left a bad review anywhere or really used yelp, but i feel like there's a health concern given the current climate? i'm hoping that i'm wrong, but am i crazy for thinking that the mobile order i placed has been drank out of? the dome lid has obvious drinken(?) whip marks on it, and when i received it, there was a clear straw entry point and indent in the whipped cream. again i really hope i'm wrong, but given how i'd placed the mobile order 10-20min before arriving there and then had to wait an additional few minutes for anyone to answer in the drivethru, plus having previous experience working at starbucks and knowing that marks/indents like this don't just magically appear, i feel unsafe drinking this and returning to this location unfortunately :( read more

Great location, right off the LIE and Sagtikos, in the same shopping district as Costco and ShopRite. Drive-thru is always busy. Baristas are always friendly and fast! Large parking lot, so that's never an issue. One thing: Please turn down the AC! It is always so cold in here. I've seen guys with their hoodies wrapped around their legs because it's freezing. On a recent day, I lasted about 5 minutes before I had to leave because even blowing hot air into my hands wasn't providing much relief. Save the planet! Turn down the air conditioning :) Oh, and please fix the charging pads. many of them don't work! read more

After getting a PM from Gia at the Crooked Hill Rd Starbucks I decided to give it another shot. First, shout out to Gia! What a kind and caring person. I know it's just a Starbucks visit but she really cares about the customers. Honestly, Starbucks needs to do something for her. She is the ONLY reason I even considered going back to this location. She assured me that the woman, whom apparently they have had a few complaints, was being retrained. Which is true. I stopped in a few weekends ago and her customer service game has really stepped up. Really happy that someone stepped in and decided to do some retraining for the new baristas. Quality still Starbucks quality, love the new Strawberry Infusion iced tea. My one complaint, not even really a complaint, is that the drive thru takes forever. I am not sure if its the complicated people with complicated orders that go in the drive thru, but it's almost worth it to just get out of the car and go inside. Not sure if it's just that they're understaffed or the staff does not care. No matter what, drive thru or coming in they are unacceptably slow. And we're not talking regular "wow this is taking a long time" slow. We're talking "wow, I could have gone back there and made 5 drinks by myself by now" slow. - On top of all that, they mess up half the orders. The crawl speed happens every time. Starbucks needs to open another location that's close to this Hauppauge industrial park so people can actually get their coffee and be on time or not waste an hour waiting. I kept my mouth shut until I couldn't take it anymore! After getting my drink wrong 4x at the drive-thru this morning I had to speak up. I ordered a drink with soy bc I don't consume dairy and I ended up with whip cream! When I told the girl I didn't ask for whip she responds "well the drink comes with whip"... Instead of apologizing! Whenever they get my order wrong they NEVER take responsibility! There's no "customer always right" mentality here. I ended up getting so frustrated I left with my whip cream who knows what and threw it out. Such a waste of money at time! I'll never go back to this location again. Drive through: fast, friendly, and my order was correct. Their full food / snack menu is not posted at the drive through, so you may have to ask them if they have certain items that you know other Starbucks locations have. This may be problematic for people who are not Starbucks regulars. That one improvement would definitely help. Sbucks. Only one in the area. Totally generic....nothing exciting. Hit and miss, there are some really nice baristas, and other's couldn't care less. Lucy had a problem with this and said "when did we start doing this?!?" So it made me feel very awkward and want to cancel my order. Update: I have been to this location a few times since my previous review despite my claim that they'd lost my business, because I love Starbucks coffee and there is just nothing else I want in the area. They've been better; they usually (but not always) get my drink order correct. I'm a bit happier with them but not 100% satisfied. I see other reviews about this place being consistent...the only way in which they've been consistent for me is by incorrectly making my drinks. I choose Starbucks over less expensive coffee bc they offer soy milk & bc they're supposed to have a higher standard of getting it right. The drive thru at this location just can't seem to get it right for me. I've gotten Pike Place when I asked for Blonde. I'm not a fan of Pike & it ended up in the garbage. When I returned later that day for another coffee, i told the drive thru employee about my coffe being wrong earlier that day, & all she did was verify that the new coffee I was purchasing was the right one. I know Starbucks & when they get your order wrong, you're supposed to get a gree drink coupon. I was very unhappy that I had to pay for the 2nd coffee when I was unable to drink the 1st incorrect one earlier. I've gotten the wrong food item during another drive thru order.. And just now I ordered a coffee w soy & sugar, and there is no sugar. I am a coffee lover & I want it the way I like it. I come to this Starbucks all the time, because its the closest to my house. I've never really had a problem with them, until recently. They really are slacking. My co-workers and I go practically everyday sometimes twice a day and there is always a problem with our orders. It never fails! Don't get me wrong, everyone is really nice, but they're too involved in their conversations to know what they're doing. I am really disappointed and it really is an inconvenience when the only option they give us is to come again before closing to get another order. I mean this happens everyday!
