The coffee, which has similarities to a Turkish coffee, is a medium roast with Cardamon and cream. Definately a unique flavor profile from what I am used to where it is a flavorful robust coffee that is well balanced with no harsh notes and oh so tasty. What I didn't know before coming here is that coffee originated out of Yemen some 500 years ago where they clearly have perfected the drink where this is a HUGE step up from the week diluted drink we call coffee here in the states. The coffee shop itself is bright, clean, very modern and very inviting with a casual vibe and nice Yemeni accents throughout to add to drinking experience. Staff is very friendly in explaining the drinks and how they are made and help guide you to the right drink choice as the names of drinks are very unique and a tad confusing as evidenced by my Mufawaar (: Overall an excellent unique coffee shop that is a must visit if you are a fan of good full bodied coffee. The bottom of the cup was chock full of whatever mix they use to make the drink, which I sampled. Even the mix tasted muted! The young lady who took my order was most ignorant of customer service norms, uttering "Huh?" to me when she couldn't understand my questions. I do understand customer service has taken a nosedive since the COVID era, but her demeanor was boorish even under those standards! They have great hours (open till midnight most nights), and the cafe seems rather spacious. I saw several people using laptops throughout the cafe, so perhaps they'll find their niche with students and remote workers who find themselves working late into the evening.

Relative to staff and facility, Joe the owner greeted me as I walked in the door and was very friendly and outgoing where he knew the names of several customers as they walked into the coffee shop. Joes friendly demeanor appears to be one of the strengths of this business, aside from his excellent coffee, as evidenced the return customers that came in during the short period I was in his shop. The facility is quite clean with a nice coffee shop vibe to it. It has a smaller footprint with a limited number of tables for indoor dining where they also sell fresh roasted coffee beans by the bag, some pastries, and prepared food among other things.
