At the tip of Dania Pointe, is this Starbucks with an optional drive thru which we used today for a quick after lunch snack. My daughter was yearning for their big warm chocolate chip cookie. Ordered quickly from the drive up kiosk then waited only a few minutes for the cookie and a side ice water to wash it down. The gooey cookie was excellent just make sure you check your fingers for hidden melted chocolate, which my alert daughter warned me. read more

This has to be the worst Starbucks in all of Florida! They can't get simple drink orders right, they don't even know what's on their menus and they don't even understand their own language, let alone their sizes. They are super rude, like it's not my fault you hate your job. I don't know if the employees just don't care or they definitely need better training. As far as the drinks, it's a simple recipe you follow so it should taste the same at any Starbucks, but this one always has a ways to substitute something for no reason. Indoor/outdoor seating, but everyone here takes their drink to-go, Small strip mall. Service - I am the Duke of this Starbucks, and after only 2 check-ins. :) Actually, I've been here for 3 days, but forgot to check in on the first day... Service is good, but then again, I am just ordering the simplistest of coffees. And if you can't do that right... Normally I have a great experience at this Starbucks. It's usually busy but staff handles well and the drinks are good. Today I ordered 2 sandwiches and a danish around 215. Unfortunately I only received 1 sandwich and didn't realize until I was out of the drive thru with sleeping toddler. I got back in line. They did still have my sandwich. The barista told me she would heat it up again. It seems it was heated for the regular time once more bc it was super hot. But now the top bread of the sandwich was hard as a rock so I couldn't eat. I don't understand why it's so difficult to get an order right. I'm so tired of ordering and inconveniencing the staff because they mess up. I asked for a decaf iced americano with no sweetener and light cream. I got a hot decaf. Asked to send it back for iced. They gave me a iced with no cream. When I asked about cream, the girl gave me attitude and said, "it's an Americano" with a straight face. I said I had asked for it with cream. She says, "oh my god" and turns around. Visiting this location is always a joy and always ends very well! While I am not really usually in this area, when I am in this area I'll make sure I stop at the Starbucks. Not only are the barista's crafty, they have such a pleasant attitude it just makes you want to help a little bit of that is in your cup. They are also very accommodating, open to conversation and not rushing you to grab and go. I love Starbucks and a big Starbucks fan and has had my gold membership for years. I have their credit card and firmly support Starbucks. I sadly have to say that this is my first bad experience at a Starbucks. Usually their customer service is good but I recently received bad service at this location. This Starbucks is fairly new and is located within the Dania Pointe shopping plaza. I went to their drive thru to get a hot tea. The lady came on quickly and took my order. Once I got to the window is when the service when downhill. When I pulled up to the drive thru window I wasn't greeted. The lady decided to look at me but didn't greet me or collect payment. She could've at least told me my drink will be ready shortly. Instead I was waiting for her to come to the window. She never came to the window and looked bothered and disturb. I simply drove off and went to another Starbucks that will serve me. I am not sure what is was and why she didn't try to serve me once I got to the window. This location just celebrated their one year anniversary so I was surprised at how poor the service was. I understand new stores having service issues but they are open for a year and they weren't even busy! The ordering process was miserable. My order consisted of a bottle of water, so no prep there and an iced coffee. Pretty simple order but the cashier couldn't comprehend I just wanted a plain coffee without any syrups. I can go on about the multiple questions about which milk I wanted when I clearly told her. This girl didn't listen, couldn't comprehend and she was dazed and confused. A bottle of water and an iced coffee isn't rocket science after all and shouldn't take fifteen minutes when the store is pretty empty. Three stars because: 1) store was immaculate 2) iced coffee was good 3) convenient location 4) plenty of parking I blame store management for allowing untrained staff to handle customers. Time is valuable and not only did I waste precious time but I left the store aggravated. Bottom line is the coffee was good and the store is clean. Maybe they were having a bad day, I don't know. Dania Pointe is a large shopping/dining plaza so I will be back. Hopefully next time the service will be much better. read more

I went to go thru the drive through tonight at 7;45 and the menu board was dark with the blinking red light indicating they were closed. The posted hours say they are open until 9pm. As a result I didn't get to use the free birthday drink since the offer is only good on the day of your birthday. Outstanding Team! Had a work meeting in Dania Pointe early on a Saturday morning. Realized we didn't get any coffee for the meeting and needed to place an order. We tried calling three local Dunkins and no answer at all three. So eventually we called this Starbucks. Nina (presumably the manager) answered the call immediately. We told her we needed five big to go boxes of coffee and that we were in a rush. She Right away said no problem! They made all the togo boxes packaged up a great assortment of sweeteners and half-and-half with napkins, straws, stirrers, cups and lids. She even went so far as to help walk it all out to our car. My friend and I ordered a expresso drinks ( cold brew with sweet cream) and a snack, and tried to sit outside to enjoy the weather. Because outside seating was full, we decided to drink our coffee and eat our food while sitting on my car. Security came and said we were loitering and kicked us out. I tried to explain to both them ( security on foot, and security driving a car ), we were just drinking our coffee bought from the Starbucks and trying to enjoy the weather. We obviously did this as the Starbucks coffee cups were branded and the snacks were visible. They still kicked us out. From what I understand of loitering laws, they had no right to do this. It's incredibly disappointing that this was forced on myself and my friend. And we did nothing wrong as we were patrons. State law dictates that the following must be met for it to be considered loitering. 1: The defendant loitered or prowled in a place, at a time, or in a manner not usual for law-abiding individuals. - We bought coffee at the Starbucks and decided to drink it outside since the seating was full. How is this unusual? 2: The defendant's behavior (loitering or prowling) occurred under circumstances that warranted justifiable and reasonable alarm or immediate concern for the safety of persons or property in the accused's vicinity. - Again, we were drinking coffee and eating a snack we bought at Starbucks. State laws also defines "alarm" and "immediate concern" as the following: 1: Whether the defendant took flight upon the arrival police; - We didn't run. In fact, I calmly explained what we were doing. 2: Whether the defendant refused to identify himself; - We were never asked for identification. But I would have happily shown ID. 3: Whether the defendant attempted to conceal himself or herself or any object he or she was carrying - Like said, we were on my car drinking coffee and having a conversation because the seats were full at the Starbucks we bought coffee from. There's nothing to conceal. Ultimately, it's unfortunate the security for this Starbucks/mall doesn't understand the laws. Nor do they practice common sense or basic human decency. We were patrons. We were not children prowling looking to commit crime. What a terrible experience this was. All we wanted was to have coffee, have a conversation and enjoy the weather. read more

never had an issue with this starbucks as i come here often in the mornings before work. my shift starts at 5 but my boss gives me an exception since this starbucks is the only one that opens at 5. usually pop up at the drive thru by 5:00-5:05 and im helped with no problem. today i came to the drive thru at 5:10 and the screen wasn't even on. i waited a few mins and no response. i drove to the front to try and walk in and i saw 3 employees in the front doing NOTHING. i waited a few more mins and noticed more cars going through the drive thru and no one was helping them by this time it was already 5:20 and i needed to get to work so i left. I was a little disappointed since they're usually on point but idk what happened with them today. i saw the same people i usually see working today too. interesting. read more
