If you are down for some okay drinks and food come here. Sometimes the food and drinks are fine but most of the time it's wrong or looks terrible. The service is unwelcoming, rude and sounds like they are trapped there. The place fits little people and when it's busy they get mad and grumpy that there is not enough room for everyone. The place always has crumbs on the floor and tables aren't cleaned it seems like they haven't cleaned in months. read more

This location was very clean and more spacious than some of the other Starbucks. The chairs and booths were comfortable. Friendly service. I got the strawberry acai. It had a bountiful amount of strawberries but it wasn't too sweet. It had just the right amount of ice to not make it watery. My partner got one of those oleato's I'm not a big coffee drinker but I did take a couple sips. It was very smooth, and wasn't sweet or bitter. It's a good latte for sipping and doing work. I can't speak for the wifi since I don't spend a lot of time here. Honestly, do people really spend like the entire day here if they're complaining that the wifi isn't working? read more

I stopped in at this Starbucks because I passed it on the way to run some errands. It's tucked away in a corner of a shopping center that can be quite trick to get to parking. It was cute and cozy with a fair amount of customers and was probably one of the quietest places I've been to. There were a few people working on laptops and some sitting in chairs reading but the noise level was minimal. I could definitely see this place being one to get some work done at. They have a decent food selection and all the usual Starbucks flair. The guy helping me was very friendly and smiling, and it made me smile too! My drink was made to order and out quite quickly. I'll definitely be back when I need a quiet place to work or to just unwind. read more

The remodel and new location -just around the corner from the old was a surprise when I stopped in the other day! It's not your old Starbucks you were used too, it's refreshed. The decor is definitely updated. It's light, bright and airy. And plain. LOL . Missed seeing any artwork/coffee bean pics. Looks conducive for working or just taking a much needed coffee break. Meh, going in here is always bizarre. I hate having high school reunions with weird townies who won't get out of the suburbs. That's who works at this Starbucks. And since they all hate their lives, they are all impolite and boring whenever I've been in the shop. One time I was standing at the counter and the person back there was doing nothing but ignoring me. Super irritating. I've also only ever entered this shop at like 7 a.m. and everyone is always just irritated and annoyed that you're even in there - you work at Starbucks! The redeeming qualities are obviously the drinks - they're the same everywhere and they're pretty delicious everywhere. The store itself is also small and cozy and there's comfy chairs to sit in if you go in with a friend or your laptop. Parking is abundant and there's a Trader Joe's across the way - yay! read more

I come to this Starbuck's every morning for my work coffee and they are amazing, stellar, so nice and efficient. I'm afraid I can't say the same for this afternoon's staff. I ran into get my mobile order of a grande mocha and two Valentine's cake pops. My coffee weighed less than usual so I stopped by the door to find it was only 2/3 full. The worker put half and half down at the bar and I asked if they had milk and pointed out that my coffee was underfilled. He said no milk, but they can remake the drink for me. I turned him down because I had kids waiting in the car. I get to the car and notice there is only one cake pop in the bag when my mobile order was for two, I double checked my phone to confirm I ordered two, rounded up the kids and headed back into the store. The staff took their time getting to me desite the fact that I was the only one in line. I saw one Valentine's cake pop in the bakery section and told my kids not to worry, that will be for them. Suddenly a worker starts clearing out the baked goods for another order and grabs the final cake pop. Finally, the half and half guy asks to help me and I point out that they only gave me one cake pop when I ordered two, he says I have to pick another flavor because they are all out of Valentine's cake pops. I point out that there was just one in the case and they worker with sacks of bakery items looks at me blankly. Clearly, the next mobile order was more important than ours. I had to explain it all to my kids that our mobile order from ten minutes ago doesn't count as much to the workers as the order of someone who wasn't even in the store yet. I won't be returning to this Starbucks in the afternoons and am thinking twice about returning there at all. Stay classy, Starbuck's! read more

I stopped by this Starbucks to study with some friends and it was pretty empty. I would definitely love studying here if it would only stay open til later. It closes at 10 PM on weekdays and 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Service was super fast since it was not busy at all. This Starbucks had an awesome playlist going to help me study, too! On a recent visit on Saturday morning, it was still pretty empty. Easy to go and get your work done or have a conversation with your friend since it is pretty quiet and not too hustling and bustling. This place made my drink wrong two days in a row. My co worker ordered me a toffee-nut latte and came back with a bitter drink so I blame him for ordering it wrong then I came back myself the next morning to order a peppermint mocha and got exactly the same drink as the day before. Wtf. I think she just make up some random stuff together when she didn't know the recipe. I spoke to another coworker about it and he told me the same thing happened to him and his friends so they don't go there. It's a shame I have to resort to dunkin donut when there's a Starbucks right by me. I really hope they learn to make drinks right. read more

I have never been too enthusiastic about Starbucks when it comes to quality and price. That being said I have been going to Starbucks for about 2 months since the Downers Grove Caribou closed. Their idea of a small or "tall" as they call it is a fraction of the size I am used to and has only 1 shot of espresso, yet somehow they get away with charging you much higher prices than Caribou ever did. The service is slow as molasses. The guy at the drive through always seems angry. His apron is a mess. It's quite disgusting to watch employees slop the drinks around into the cup. Most times it is dripping or overflowing out of the mouth spout. I have even seen them wipe the cup with a nasty stained bar rag sitting on the counter in a pile of brownish milky sludge. This literally makes me GAG! #1 I have already paid for my drink #2 I have already waited nearly 20 minutes for a latte #3 I am a night shift worker on my way to work and I need that caffeine. I have given this place a chance for 2 months hoping it would get better or maybe on certain days certain employees will be tolerable. Sadly only 1 young lady working there seems to know how to make a drink without slopping it around. It's also important to know that this Starbucks is right across the street from Downers Grove North High School. Be ready for obnoxious loud screeching teenage girls. Most of the kids dont know how to order a drink correctly and do not pay attention when their drinks are called. You literally have to stand in line for 20 minutes while teenagers goof off and mess up their orders before you can get your drink. It's worse than the Mc Donalds Playplace. read more
