Starbucks has really gone downhill in recent years. Specifically with regard to consistency and the employees following the Starbucks recipes. Numerous times this location will put in regular brewed coffee into their specialty drinks that the recipes call for espresso. Unbelievable. It looks like the staff turned over at this location and got even worse. Maybe if they focused a little bit less on the decor and redecorating and more on training their staff and holding them accountable by doing random audits then the people in charge would taste what I'm tasting which is crap. read more

This is my favorite place to be. *"*"STARBUCKS!!"*"* Especially during the holiday's. The Caramel brulee, and Egg nogg Frappuccino's, and lattes are amazing. These drinks really solidifies that the holiday's are here. The seasonal, holiday lattee's make me feel so toasty, and warm, I just want to cuddle next to the fireplace. My favorite drink of them all is the Carmel Brulee. (They should really consider this as an everyday drink.) The ingredients for the carmel brulee, is a lot more subtle to me than the regular carmel drink, and has a hint of sweet, nutty, creaminess. Whether I order it as a Frappuccino, or latte, the brulee taste reminds me that the winter holiday's are here, and everything about it is good. read more

I love Starbucks! But every time I come to this specific location, it's always a problem! The employees are sketchy. So today, I've been here twice. I got coffee this morning and then lunch. So this morning, we ordered coffee in the drive thru and had to pull up and wait for my drink (even though my friend got the same one)... it took 7 minutes because they didn't know it was 2... even though we paid for 2 at the window, and the total they gave was 2 when they repeated the order back. AND IT SAID 2 on the receipt! So now I decide to come back for lunch and order a panini and ordered a passion tea lemonade. They again told me to pull up for my drink it'll be a couple of minutes. That couple of minutes was actually 13 minutes. So I decided to go in and the barista is like "Are you coming in for the passion fruit tea" and at this point I'm mad... so I'm like, "yes and I've been waiting in my car for 13 minutes." He gets argumentative and says "it hasn't been 13 minutes. We set the timer for the tea for 5." I ordered my drink at 3:31. I walked in the restaurant at 3:44... I ordered a grande and I got a venti which he says was his apology. So you think you giving me something that costs you nothing will appease me waiting in my car for 13 minutes? I'm definitely calling corporate when I get home because that's ridiculous. I'm not coming back to this one if I can help it. It's 3 others in close proximity. I'm visiting here from Las Vegas and its my first time in this Starbucks. I put a tip in the jar thinking that the food and coffee I ordered would come out to me. I didn't know that you pick up your order at the end of counter. So I waited for 20mins. I walked up to the counter and asked if my food was ready. The young girl says I called your name long time ago. So, with that said I ate cold food and had cold Coffee when I like mines hot. I'm used to be catered to in a business. Its the Vegas way. Second time in a week & a half that they are OUT of oatmilk. The next closest Starbucks that I drove through made a suggestion that works for them...ORDER EXTRA just to be on the safe side. Sounds like an amazing plan. Don't run out of something that obviously sells. OATMILK DO BETTER and post what you are out of on a board before you get into the long drive thru line. Love at first visit! The staff is the best and provides excellent service. The first time I came here, I used the mobile app to order a frappuccino ahead of my arrival; however, because of the confusing turn to actually get to the location, I took a bit longer to get here. The frappuccino was ready for pick up when I finally arrived, but the barista noticed that it had melted a bit, so she offered to make me a new one without me even asking. It's also a great place to study with easy parking, but there aren't very many tables, so I wouldn't count on there always being a spot available. read more

I visit this Starbucks at least once a week, and the service is consistently excellent and my drink orders have always been correct. I usually use the drive-thru while picking up a drink on my way home or when I'm out running errands. Only twice have I had to wait more than five minutes, and this is saying something since I have frequented this drive-thru at least 50 times. What keeps me coming back to this location instead of the other Starbucks which is just as conveniently located for me? The baristas. They are efficient and, more importantly, they all seem genuinely happy to be there and happy to serve their customers. I always leave there feeling a bit more cheerful than when I arrived, and that's only partly due to the caffeine. read more

This store is simply not up to Starbucks standards. I have seen them pour my drink out to make room for whip cream (they had to pour since they barista didn't want to bother with the domed lids). I have seen them unapologetically make the wrong size drink. Corporate customer service has always been super helpful, but I shouldn't have to complain to them every other time I come to the store. My Favorite Starbucks + Only Chumps use the Drive-Thru. This the Starbucks I go to daily. If i had a college term paper to knock out i'd go camp out here. But I'm a busy millennial with busy millennial things to do so I need my coffee ASAP and this store delivers. The location isn't ideal since it can be tricky to get in and out of without getting stuck at a bunch of lights but it's the closest Starbucks to my house and office. This store is located in the shadow of university tower and takes a few turns to get into and you can easily miss it if you're not paying attention. The staff at this Starbucks is super-friendly and the best. I know their names, they know mine. They even know my usual beverage (which isn't complicated but it's always a nice touch when they do remember at any Starbucks store if you're a regular). They encourage me to use the Starbucks app more to do online order and pick-up and earn more stars, but I like talking with them and its always nice to put a face to the crew that words hard on a daily basis. I know a lot of people like Starbucks that have a drive-thru and if you have kids or truly don't want to get out of the vehicle I can understand using it, but if you are able bodied just go inside. The Drive-thru is always slower and you'll get better service inside. Too many rubes use the drive-thru and you don't want to be a rube. Much like most Starbucks there's always lots of people working on computers here, and you can always tell when it's finals time at the local colleges and universities since almost every seat in the place is taken. The Tower blvd Starbucks really goes above and beyond. You cant go wrong going here if you need to get your Starbucks fix. read more

I truly don't know how this Starbucks doesn't have five stars. Their entire staff goes above and beyond to make sure every customer gets the best service. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to Starbucks as a pick me up during a difficult day and they always ask me how my days going and are very uplifting!! Location and staff get 5 GOLD STARS ... Starbucks Corp. you get 2 sad faces -- read ending paragraph. The best of the best!! My drink is a bit complicated, every time it's absolutely perfect. Before I'm able to finish saying 'Good Morning', my order is on the screen. Barristers are always pleasant and big smiles at the window no matter the seemingly endless lines of customers. Never are they rude. Thanks everyone -- you really make my day!! Drive thru does get busy between 6am-8am and from 2pm-3pm ish, even at the busiest times my drink is perfect. Outside umbrellas and seating. Which are well taken advantage of on nice days. Parking is ample. Let's be very clear -- I love the staff here. My one concern and request is that corporate needs to take responsibility at ALL of their drive thru's and add trash cans. On a good day I visit two or three times. Starbucks Corp wants our money but doesn't seem to respect the communities they place themselves into. No matter any of the many Starbucks drive thru's I've been to within the USA (Colorado, California, Texas and Washington DC) trash cans are to no avail. I will say at this location staff is very conscience and goes to great effort in keeping their lot clean; however, driving away you can see the litter spreading into our highways and byways -- come on Starbucks Corp., you're better then this ... I'm a gold Star Starbucks customer and orders a venti chai tea latte today, and asked that it be split into two cups, at this shop and was told that "I'm not allowed to give you your drink that way". This Starbucks is great if you go inside, but I always have an issue at the window. They never get the drink right. I always hear "was your drink hot or iced?" If I order an ICED espresso I'm thinking it is iced. LOL! The people are super friendly though and are willing to fix the drinks if they mess them up (which, at the window is often) but there are worst things in life than a screwed up cup of coffee. read more

I am very disappointed. I drove through this Starbucks at approximately 7:00pm and was told that they were out of soy milk. I find this hard to believe, and am taken aback by their lack of preparedness. At their recommendation I had to settle for an almond milk latte- it was vile. I was also the only car in the drive through and it took 20 min to prepare my tall drink. If this was not the only drive through Starbucks on my route to school, I would never return. This is my favorite Starbucks location! I am very particular on how I want my drinks and it's very rare that I come across a barista with an attitude about it. I have only had one issue at this particular location but the corporate management listened for better understanding and I have never had the issue again. Phenomenal customer service starts from the top and their corporate/regional manager is Phenomenal and his work ethic reflects through his teams! I'm not sure how this Starbucks location has negative reviews. I have visited this location on multiple occasions and they have always been very friendly! My orders have always been perfect and the staff have been pleasant and took the time to ask how my day was and if I needed anything extra than what I asked for. I visited tonight and the barista at the drive thru was so sweet, Kelly (sp?) really brightened my stressful day of studying! I have never been inside so I can't speak on that, but the drive thru is always quick and decorated so cute for each season/holiday. The only downside is the tricky drive to get to it - you do have to either pull through McDonald's or rooms to go to get to it, but so worth it for the wonderful customer service! read more

The baristas are awesome here! The other night we got there late and they were out of cold brew coffee. Since we were unsure of what else to order, they were able to make a suggestion which was delicious and now a favorite. Tonight I ordered a chai latte over the mobile app and when I got there the drinks were already ready. The barista noticed that my drink was no longer hot when handing it to me so he quickly went and made a new one! Great service :) read more

This location needs help with their drinks and time. I've sat in the drive thru for over 15min with 3 cars in front of me and to top it off my coffee was not what I ordered. I ordered a blueberry oatmeal and a banana nut bread. I was given my bag assuming all of my food contents were in the bag and was told to have a nice day. I had gone thru the drive thru so I took my debit card and my food and left. I arrived at work and realized my banana nut bread was not in the bag. I called to the store and spoke with Audrey, making her aware my banana nut bread was not in the bag with my oatmeal. She stated "well you left without it". I stated how did I leave without it, when you all never placed it in my bag? Audrey then went on to state, well it is up here on the counter if you want to come back and get it. I requested to speak with a manager. I spoke with David the shift supervisor, he was pleasant and attempted to rectify this error. read more

I'm not what you would call a regular--I'm not really a coffee drinker--but I thought I would leave this review to mention how totally helpful the crew was this evening (10/13/16)! A friend of mine is collecting the "You Are Here" mugs, and he specifically asked me for the NC one. So off I went to the nearest Starbucks. I looked around, triple-checked, didn't find it. So I asked the guy at the cashier. Even though he was in the middle of something, he still asked me if there was anything he could help me with. I mentioned I was looking for the mugs, did they carry them, and if not, where can I find them. Two other employees immediately set out to search for them in the back as the cashier answered my question. Lo and behold, they found a whole box of them! Evening. Made! So I happily got the mug, thanked them for their time, and got a small hot chocolate with whipped cream to celebrate, which they prepared quickly and quite well. The place overall looks clean and a nice, cosy place to hang out, study, read, write, etc. It's where O'Charley's used to be, so if you're not familiar with the area, you may have a hard time finding it. (Hint: it's next to the AT&T and Mattress Firm stores.) read more
