This is a beautiful Starbucks located in El Dorado Hills. It's placed on the corner and you cannot miss it. It is absolutely stunning to look at. This is a place to sit down and enjoy. They also have a drive thru. I've been and seen a lot of students studying and people working. Customer service is good! The baristas are nice, friendly and helpful. I walked up to the counter where the finished orders are and tried to get the attention of a 20-something, chubby female employee sporting lots of tattoos to ask for a coffee refill. After a few moments she finally noticed me, shrugged and annoyed she said, "Did you want something?" I smiled and said, "I'd like to get a coffee refill please." Still annoyed she quickly said, "Yeah you don't do that here. You get it at the register." (Which is odd because I've always gone to the orders-completed side of the counter to get refills and every employee there has always helped me.) As I started to ask her a quick follow-up question, she turned her back on me and started doing something else. She didn't walk away, just turned her back on me. Another employee standing next to me (and who appeared to have just finished her shift and heard the conversation and appeared to be somewhat uncomfortable in the way that I was just treated) said to me in a whisper, "They can help you at the register." I come here a few times a week, and all the employees work hard, but THEY have always been friendly as well. Rude-tattoo girl just couldn't be bothered however and was being snotty to make the point that I shouldn't be bothering her. Very poor customer service. Having worked in restaurants all through college, I was never dismissive to a customer like this. No good employee would. They wouldn't say it's not my job, they would just want to be helpful. read more

Since they do not have a barcode on hazlenut they refuse to sell it. They are too stupid to know how to restock it without a barcode? How do you restock it otherwise? Vanilla has a bar code so charge for vanilla (which is same price) and give the hazlenut. Starbucks has zero intellect. No wonder they are having issues. read more

This is without a doubt one of the nicest Starbucks around... the design is so well done, great seating options, and the usual Starbucks stuff with a friendly, courteous, and efficient staff. It had a sleek, contemporary, and wonderful volume of space. It was so enjoyable to sit, relax, and enjoy a cold iced coffee. 6/13/23 Most convenient drive thru location locally. It's a great location to visit off hours. Back today before heading to the airport and it has what feels like a dozen cars in front of me. Staff is friendly and beverages are usually on point. I don't come as often as Starbucks have gotten on the inflation rise so it's a welcome treat for myself once in a blue moon. Triple espresso shot on ice for me this morning with a toasted plain bagel w/cream cheese. They forgot to give me a spreading butter knife so bagel dip it is! As a Starbucks aficionado, I can attest that this Starbs is the best in EDH! Our drinks are always made to perfection, the barista crew is OUTSTANDING and whether we use the drive thru or venture inside, we are always greeted and treated with smiles. Inside there is plenty of seating, which is kept clean. Enjoying your beverage, working or chatting with friends is comfortable. The only drawback to this location can be the parking, especially if the gym next door is having a class and on occasions the drive thru line does wrap around the parking lot. I did not discount stars for either of these. Look no further than this Starbucks location to get your caffeine on and start your day on the right foot! Like it or not...this Starbucks (SB) is the newest addition to the El Dorado Hills coffee scene. Ya... I know another SB. This one has a drive thru making it super convenient especially for those just traveling through on Highway 50. It is right off the highway. It is on the southwest corner of El Dorado Hills Blvd and Saratoga Way. It is in a standalone building next to a Kelly Moore Paint and Walgreens. The few times I have been through the drive thru, the service was quick and friendly. I even was enticed by the menu board of a picture of a chocolate croissant. I ordered one and they asked if I wanted warmed up. Yes, please. It was delicious. But it was a tiny. The drinks are pretty standard to all the other SBs. Tips: If you drive a larger vehicle, like a pickup truck, be mindful of the tight compact turn from the get go from Saratoga Way into the parking lot because the drive thru is a hairpin turn to the west. Oh, plus I do not recommend parking in front of the building during peak times because the time you get out, there might be a line from the drive thru formed directly behind your car. The newest Starbucks in El Dorado Hills is conveniently located to the I-50 on/off ramp yet easily accessible via the new road that connects El Dorado Hills with Folsom. This is going to be a heavily visited location due to the availability of a drive through along with a gorgeous glass front shaped like a dime that lets amazing lighting through while people enjoy a cup of coffee. The employees made our drinks perfectly and with a smile so congrats on well trained staff upon opening! When in El Dorado Hills, this is the place to stop for Java! I recommend the Caramel Macchiato, Pumpkin Spice Latte, and the new Pistachio latte with only 2 pumps of sweetener (venti) because 6 is outrageous people! read more

I usually use the Drive Through when I visit this Starbucks location in the morning (like 4:30 AM) when there is usually never a line. The morning greeting from the Starbucks barista varies depending on who you get. At times, the morning greeter can be warm and personable, other times the seem to be battling a mixture of despair and lack of sleep. I get it, working early can suck! They are consistently and reliable great w/ my orders and the beverages they make. I am happy w/ this location and glad they're so conveniently close to me. Although this is the closest one to my home, I drive to the ones in Folsom for rich, tasty coffee and matcha drinks. The only reason to purchase here is the staff. Coming from a former Starbuck's barista-- this is the best Starbuck's around period. Every time I have been here the customer service is amazing. Even if the drive thru is longer, they bust through it quickly and will always have time to ask how you're doing. Special shoutout to the male barista in drive thru maybe a year ago who made my day. I was in the postpartum trenches and it was one of the first few outings with my son, which I mentioned to the barista when he asked what I was up to. This is our usual Starbucks because it has a drive through, which is easier for me with kids. The staff have always been nice but I've had a few times of my drink order getting messed up. I never did anything about it because I don't usually have time to go in it go through the drive through again. Well, yesterday I ordered an iced coffee with some cold foam on top and asked them to use my rewards for the foam. The barista asked if just for the foam and I made clear I didn't want to use points for a free drink (but to use them only for the cold foam). When I left I remember thinking they barely gave me any cold foam and the amount wasn't worth using some points. Then later when I looked at my app, I noticed that they had used my points for a free drink. I was really annoyed because I could have used those points for a bigger size or a better drink. I'm not sure there's a way to get them back, so it led me to this review. read more

I ordered the pistachio latte for the first time here. It was delicious! It had more of a nutty almond taste, with a hint of pistachio in it. I would've loved more of a bold pistachio flavor, but can't complain. I also recently got a puppy and they informed me of the free puppyccuno, really friendly staff! I came on a Monday at 5am and served by Ron and Chris who were so polite, friendly and professional. Thanks guys, keep it up! My flat white was made perfectly! HOT and perfect foam. Flavor spot on. My husband's caramel macchiato was perfect too. The place was clean!! They even had happy uplifting music playing!! So happy about that because usually the music in stores I visit is mostly rap and other annoying awful sounding stuff-played too loudly. Way to go whoever is running this Starbucks! I'm just passing through but I could tell they have a lot of satisfied regulars coming in. And it is open 24 hours, drive through anyways!! This is the best Starbucks. This was the first place we went to back in February when we first moved here, so I could grab breakfast oatmeal and a latte for the energy I needed to unpack. The window attendant was patient, personable and funny in his own way. I felt like a VIP! I also thought he was unique but in the last four or five following visits, I have encountered nothing but the same awesome service from all of the staff. I always drive off laughing when I leave. I kick myself when I forgot to bring cash to tip them! They deserve it! I used to work at Starbucks and it was one of the hardest jobs I have ever had - the amount of knowledge required to make each drink to order, the time and energy to prep, dealing with crazy customers, etc. so I don't say that lightly. Not the best service. August 3 at 11:30am the dark haired lady taking orders and then also heating up food was not friendly. Food also came out 15 minutes after my order. She would heat them up and then do another 10 orders and as they finished she would place them beside her and not the pick up counter. So by the time mine came out it was cold. Starbucks is always so consistent and it's sad this one just isn't. Along with that, she wasn't very friendly taking my order at all. Walked away from the register multiple times and then when paid I walked away towards the pick up counter and she rudely told me not to leave. Worst experience at starbucks I have had. The customer service wasn't great. I paid $8 for ice. I get a matcha iced latte almost everyday for the last 2 years and have never had an issue. The drink tasted fine but please see the photos below. More than half my drink was ice. I will not be going back to Starbucks after this. My husband and I bought coffee here. His order was correct but I asked mine with oatmilk. At the window we mentioned that we ordered it with oatmilk since I received it the way it is. They said they will make a new one. I can tell oatmilk from regular since that's what I always order or with soy milk. I believe they did not make a new one but switch the lid and maybe put it in a new cup. It taste exactly the same. I order oatmilk because my stomach can't handle regular. If that's the case, why lie and pretend to make a new one. read more
