Unfortunately I was rude to a barista and I have no excuse for my rudeness and I'm so sorry...this Starbucks frustrates me with their stopper control that reminds me of a certain chef from Seinfeld. I've never experienced a Starbucks stopper dictator like this shop in all my decades of being a Starbucks customer and I really wish I don't have to order from here but it has a convenient location. Part of this frustration comes from the expectation that I can just do a mobile order, pick up and go. They force you to ask for stoppers and you have to wait with others if the baristas are busy or with a customer. I guess they do this to save on expenditures? Sure they do that and guess that's worth it for them to inconvenience...me....am I the a**h**e? (Yes I was and I sincerely apologize) Can I wait for another minute? I'm sure I can but I shouldn't have to. Hear me out - I think asking for stopper dictators defeat the purpose of mobile ordering. Also, I think this affects customer service. Perhaps I am spoiled by the rest of the other Starbucks stores but even La La Land in TX automatically just puts it in and Paris Baguette automatically puts stickers on mobile orders. The time for stopper dictators has past! Stop the stopper dictators! Free the stoppers! Ps my drink was made perfectly, every time. Hmmm... a lot of negative reviews for this location but I have yet to have a bad experience personally. I agree that the store is a lot smaller than the typical stand alone Starbucks locations but they share the same space connected to Barnes N Noble. Despite the smaller location with more limited seating, I find the staff to always be friendly and welcoming when I stop by on weekday mornings before work. I do, however, order on the Starbucks app so there has never been an issue with something incorrect with my order. When I arrive, my drink and baked goods are always ready by the promised time. Easy to grab and go before my commute to work without worrying about a wait time. read more

I'm sure this review will go unnoticed because of how large the company is but just sharing a bad experience with customer service. came into the Falls church location without a warm greeting. drove over 2 hours, wanted Starbucks but unfortunately needed to use the restroom first. Side note: I am a bet General Manager of a company in this same area. I was profiled from the moment I walked in. I was rudely told by a mean barista (bathroom police) that I need to purchase first to use the facility. I am in business attire by the way and do not look like a druggie but non the less it was unnecessary and embarrassing. It's not often you walk into a Starbucks and there not some sort of line. So imagine my surprise when I was able to walk right in a get a Medicine Ball. The baristas here were great! Very friendly and efficient and my drink came out perfect. I couldn't be more pleased. Location was super clean and set up for social distancing. Although awkward at first, I'm digging the glass that's up as an extra layer of protection. read more

I liked the Pride Shirts some of the Starbuck Staff were. One staff member informed me she got her shirt from her boss. I was informed you can buy some pride shirt from Starbucks, bit it might not be the one you originally saw. I came across one that I liked, because the pose is just so ridiculous. There is a name for this, but I have forgotten it right now. I did see a guy do this move on The Beast competition gameshow. Oh, the Mango Refresher without the fruit and lemonade were much better. This is the worst Starbucks in the area. Please do not waste your time visiting them. The lack of customer service they have here is horrible. Starbucks is overrated. There's no denying it, and their prices are laughable. I wish they'd focus more on smoother blends, as a lot of theirs have this "burnt Seattle aftertaste " that isn't pleasant. Will it wake you up? Absolutely! The coffees here tend to have a lot more caffeine in them. That can be a good thing if early in the day, but problematic later on. One drink I always like is the mocha frappe's. These are absolutely delicious. Customer service here is very good. Nice folks here, and they definitely work hard, to handle the near insane sales volume. The store checks all the boxes. This is the best Starbucks location in my area. Luckily, I'm seeing a lot of similar reviews where people are just saying how NICE the employees are!! Seven Corners Starbucks is the best. Everyone is always so friendly-- they greet you when you walk in the door, when you pick up your drink. It's honestly a joy going in and saying hi to them, and thanking them for their work on the drink that's going to get me through the day! Thank you Seven Corners Starbucks management, baristas, and other team members for making the I'm-exhausted-but-I-need-my-coffee experience not only pleasant, but a memorable part of my day! This is an update review of the 7 corners Starbucks and how the Service has really affected the Ambiance, with the cashier Nawar just punches in whatever she likes and wants to hear I asked for a 3 shot Grande Soy Latte and she rings in a Chai with 3 shots and when I tell her I did not say Chai she rings up a 2nd Chai and deletes it I asked for a chocolate croissant and she does not ask if I want it heated which is very bad service for my Food, she needs to listen to the guest that pays and ring in afterwards the Ambiance, is very bad due to the table sizes that are here now and make it very unfriendly plus the fact that someone was sleeping here in front of the employees is certainly bad this is why a ZERO star option is needed for YELP so that the people at Starbucks can see that putting people that speak English fluently would help the business thrive and not be a representation of wokeness read more

After the extremely crappy lunch I experienced at Eden Center - I wanted more caffeine - so I crossed over U.S. 50 to Seven Corners Center and the Starbucks. This is one of the smallest Starbucks I've ever been in - very little in the way of seating - it is physically connected to the Barnes & Noble next door - and there is a little more seating inside the B&N for coffee drinkers - but still overall not much. When it was my turn to order - I asked the girl at the register what the two coffee selections were - Pike Place and a Sumatran coffee. I chose the Sumatran as she advised it was a bolder, stronger coffee. Just what I needed. However, they were brewing fresh coffee - so I'd have to wait for a few minutes. SCORE! She gave me my coffee for free since I had to wait. A very nice gesture. Excellent cup of coffee! read more

I went to Seven Corner's Center early yesterday morning to wait in line to get a wristband to attend a book signing at Barnes & Noble. The team at Starbucks took their service a step further than most would, and if you did a mobile order (and adapted your name temporarily in your settings to add the word "line" so that they knew you were standing in line) they brought your drink to you while you were standing in line. They did so with smiles, and laughs and then also kept coming through with bags to collect the trash. Later in the day when I came back for the signing, they were offering water to those standing in line waiting to enter. "Above and beyond" service with a smile made standing in line more pleasant! read more

However it appears like it can get really crowded and there is a lot of unused room inside the Starbucks that could be better used as seating rather than empty space. I have patronized this particular Starbucks since 1992. Yesterday, 31 May, I saw something worth noting. A young man swept and cleaned the floor at about 4:30 pm. What was noteworthy was that he did a remarkable job. I have never seen anyone do this as well and efficiently as he did. The floor was so clean so fast, that one could almost east breakfast off the surface of the floor. Good work deserves recognition and reward. I asked him his name -- he said "Caleb" or "Kayleb." I stood for at least 4 min at the register waiting to order while the cashier was staring down at her phone in front of the cash register, I guess Instagram was bumpin with some intense pics this afternoon! Getting the free gold card refill here at 11am on May 18 was like pulling teeth. I rarely get to use this "benefit," because I'm always on the go. So far I've tried to get free refill twice at two different Starbucks, and both times they made me feel like I was stealing. Starbucks needs to do a better job communicating their policies to the employees. Or, maybe, it's part of their corporate strategy - lure customers with free refills, but humiliate the folks when they ask for refills, so that they don't actually have to grant them. If this is indeed their corporate strategy, it worked on me. Yesterday, when I was in a position to get a refill, but was with someone else, I decided not to ask for one to avoid an embarrassing argument in front of my friend. Five out of six times I have seen a group of elderly Vietnamese men having a lengthy conversation in Vietnamese and smoking. This is can be a fun place to visit if you enjoy listening to the sound of Vietnamese and the aroma of tobacco burning. Customers often pay cash hence a big diesel armored truck that I observed to be idling at the store front on multiple occasions. What I like is that this store is close to a Barnes and Nobles store so this is a convenient snack pick up location if ever reading a Harry Potter book in one sitting. This is much closer than walking up the hill to other seven corner drink vendors. Unfortunately, I think the foot traffic at this coffee shop has been further diminished by the closing of a nearby furniture store so the popularity is not as active as it used to be. I would go inside if I am thirsty because the ambience is nicer inside than on the outside with smoke and exahust from a nearby armored truck idling outside. Note the guard inside the truck looks somewhat nervous so I think only the most hard core customers can overlook the low rumbling sound of a diesel engine. read more

The best part about this location is that it is still connected to Barnes & Nobles next door. You can buy your coffee and pick up a book next door. I visited after lunch nearby and sat down to enjoy the newly purchased book. It was pretty crowded on Sunday afternoon. The servers were friendly and the barista was working hard to get my cup of grand americano with extra shot ready. The space on seating is very limited. There are couple of window seats and small around tables. It's just starbucks.. nothing great or nothing awful. I got my caffeine fill and that's all it needed. read more

It's great that it's right next to the BN, where you can take your drink/food into BN. Bummer that the Starbucks isn't INSIDE BN, so you can't bring unpurchased BN merchandise from BN into Starbucks. 1. There is very little seating. There was like 1 4-persons table, 3-4 2-persons tables, a few window seats and some outdoor seating. Most of the time, these seats are full. You would have to hover over someone about to leave to get a seat. 2. They forgot 1 of the 3 things we ordered.. 3. Going back to being next to BN. What's the point of having it connected to BN (besides the MINOR convenience of not having to step outside to go between the BN and Starbucks) if you can't freely go between both without having purchased your merchandise at BN. I ordered a small caramel frappe and as I was drinking it pieces of what looked to be like chicken came through the straw. At that point I was grossed out and decided I would not be returning to that location. I know they saw that at the bottom of the cup as they were making my drink. The way I look at it a Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks... You know what you're getting, and it's gonna pretty much come out the same at any of the 1,962 locations in the DC metro area. Where one Starbucks separates itself from another is location, atmosphere, clientele, and service. This Starbucks location is great, connected to a Barnes and Noble, just off of Rt 50. The atmosphere and decor is nothing special, in fact it could use an update. The clientele is mainly commuters and B&N patrons, so it is pretty varied. The service is normally pretty good, but they can be slow at times, especially during the morning rush. read more

I only started going to this location a month ago maybe. But I went in to this location today and was helped by Mara. It was phenomenal even that when she took my order she asked anything else Chris. I was shocked that she remembered my name. I quickly did a double take and said you remember my name she said you have been coming in a lot lately. I was surprised as that was good customer service that 1 person provided to me. And in general that location seems to be intricately tied in with their community and being more personable. I have had some disappointing experiences at various Starbucks, but today takes the cake. After standing in line for a bit, the GF and I place our order. We move to the end of the counter awaiting our hot coffee on a cold windy day. Drinks in hand we move to the side bar for sugar. No sugar! No sugar! No white sugar, no sugar in the raw. No Sugar at all! A woman was restocking the counter. I ask, "Where is the sugar?" "We are out. We are supposed to get a big order tonight. We have been out." I've been at this Starbucks twice before and their PSLs have been well prepared. Service for the most part has been good but for my most recent visit, they had 2 cashiers attending to one customer while the line has been building up past the door. The customer had a couple of questions which didn't require the whole staff to attend to. I waited for 10 minutes with 2 customers ahead of me. For this reason, I gave them 3 stars. read more
