I loved how once you ordered, your name was placed on this board as in process, done, or not started yet. That took the guess work out of knowing if your drink was ready. Service was great! I was waited on right away and it took about 5 minutes to get my drink. My drink was scrumptious! It was really fantastic. This Starbucks was cute designed with some cool photos on the wall and cute merchandise for gifting. I was in Virginia for an event, but I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this Starbucks. Every working day (I work three times a week); I have to have either my Chai Tea latte or Peppermint Mocha latte coffees. The lovely Barista knows me by face and name now. She greets me every mobile app pick-Up order and makes superb flattery compliment and greetings. I'll find out her name?? I think she's Pings (Filipino-American) as well?? I'm a Gold Starbucks member, since I was stationed in Seattle, when I (was) in the Navy- -way back in 2009. I ONLY get the latte and Frappuccino coffees. Parking here is a headache. I wish you the best. A lot of it is population density. You will be ok if early or late hours. A very clean store. I just had a mocha frappe, as temperatures are expected to be 100. This chilled drink tastes good, and provides a caffeine boost. That alone helps. Employees here are very friendly. This is a convenient "grab-n-go" Starbucks location if you are driving along Route 7 between Tysons Corner (I-495 Beltway) and Falls Church (I-66 west or east). A big plus is that parking is free and easy within the shopping plaza. The coffee shop is in a separate building annex (look for the Capital One Bank) from the main plaza complex (in the shape of an "L", which includes Burger 7, Jason's Deli, and the Whole Foods Market). The staff are pretty friendly and professional. On the minus side, it's a narrow, tiny space that is not conducive to working or "hanging out". Because of the limited space, the check-in line starts when you move toward the back of the store and then it snakes forward in the direction of the register. This gives some room for the "mobile order" folks and people waiting (after placing their in-person order). Although I have not been here during peak hours, I imagine it would be chaotic because of the limited space available for people to form a line. read more

You will definitely need your patience for a visit to this location on a Saturday afternoon. There were about two folks ahead of me but it felt like the line was to the door because the service was so slow!!! In all honesty, I would have been better off mobile ordering while standing there, which is exactly what another customer did and sure enough it was ready before I made it through the end of the line.The wait after ordering was another ten minutes at least which is not the status quo for a Starbucks trip. Customer service was not a top priority as drinks were slow to make it to the pick up bar. I get that it's difficult to work at Starbucks generally and even more so during a pandemic. But this location is one I used to frequent a lot when I worked in the McLean area (years ago) so when I happened to be in the vicinity recently and in need of a latte, at first I was quite excited and a bit nostalgic to drop in. The two employees were clearly on a bad mood. When I walked in the door, instead of the usual cheery greeting, I got a sullen stink eye from the one employee standing behind the plexiglass shield. He took my order reluctantly, and then proceeded to complain loudly with his co-worker about customers coming in close to closing (this is when I realized this location closes at 5pm and I had had the audacity to walk in around 4:45pm thus delaying their ability to better start closing). I waited while they made my latte, both of them still complaining. As I walked out at 4:55, another customer walked in - and was told that the store was closed. The customer stated she had submitted a mobile order, to which the female employee stated that was impossible since they had shut down all mobile orders at 4pm and then told the customer she had the wrong store and closed and locked the door in the customer's face! I'm going to assume it had been a rough day, and as I mentioned, this used to be a favorite location of mine, but it was rather surprising and sad nonetheless to see the employees' discontent so publicly displayed. read more

This store is in a convenient/non-convenient location. While it's right off the highway, you also have to enter into a strip mall that is typically difficult to find parking in. The order ahead option was not working when I went, so I decided to go into the store. I ordered a honey mint citrus tea, but they indicated they did not have any venti cups. Ok, a grande was fine. I pay and wait in line for my drink. When my drink is on deck to make, the barista explains they don't have any honey syrup. I tell them that's fine and request agave instead. They then inform me they are out of the tea to make the drink. I requested a simple green tea as a replacement. They didn't have that either. I questioned why I wasn't told this when I ordered. I begrudgingly asked to substitue for a latte with blonde espresso.. you guessed it. Out. I walked out with a regular latte. It was a frustrating experience to not be told initially what items they were out of at that time. I wasn't offered a refund and as I was waiting for my drink I realized the same thing ("sorry, we're out of that") was happening to others. read more

A very busy Starbucks in a very busy plaza at the intersection of many busy roads. You would think these people would have the common sense to hire more people and have consistent number of people working. They don't. Their customer service can be reasonable to completely useless. Sometimes people call out of work and there literally are two people working at the counter. I would give this place negative stars if I could. Half the times their mobile ordering doesn't work. They run out of condiments, sugar, sweeteners all the time. Many times they don't have menu items. their baristas get the order wrong as well . And you find out the hard way when you're sipping the coffee 3 miles away. Whoever owns this franchise really needs to give a hard look at what they could do to , to be better. The Starbucks is located in a shopping plaza that has a wide variety of options including a Whole Foods and other stores. While the sign on the outside of the Starbucks gives the impression it's a large location it is smaller on the inside than it might appear. However overall it still is a solid Starbucks spot, with a moderate amount of seating inside and seemingly on-point service. Parking is quite easy as, although there's no drive-thru from what I could determine, there is a large parking lot for the strip mall plaza as a whole. read more

It's 5:56 pm on a Monday and there's two employees working. The gentleman who took our order was kind and thorough. The young lady who was making the drinks and running the back made our drinks in lightning speed, while answering the phones and grabbing sandwiches. This location is roughly the size of a mid-to-low priced studio apartment in Manhattan while still accepting walk-in clients from there to Kansas City. What an unfortunate mess. The lines at this location often extend to the door, the wait at the register can take forever too seeing as they're consistently understaffed so please psychologically prep yourself for that experience as well. The problem here is that Starbucks is my go-to when I'm in a rush and don't have time to make coffee at home and sip it on the couch. The goal here is to quickly get in, get out, and be on the road with a cup in hand. This Starbucks is so slow that it really defeats the purpose of not drinking coffee at home before leaving for whatever I'm doing that day. Now on to the solution for this location: Remove (please!) or greatly reduce the seating area, consider removing online ordering at this location, increase the staffing and/or number of espresso machines, and otherwise prep yourselves for the general overcrowding that Tysons brings to the table. Keep in mind that Tysons (and NoVa in general) suffers from overcrowding and an infrastructure that has not kept up with the population growth so as a business you must plan accordingly. Bottom line = Don't set up your place expecting a toddler's birthday party when you have an Arianna Grande concert planning to attend. read more

This Starbucks used to be great, I've gone to this one for years and work in the same plaza. It has really gone down hill. I ordered a venti caramel ribbon crunch Frappuccino last Sunday and not only did they not have whip they didn't have STRAWS and the CRUNCH was missing and it took 25 MINUTES. I didn't really get an apology or a guest rescue card which is disappointing since I'm a regular here, I've started going to the Clifton one which is right by my house and run much better. The Pike 7 is better too. Today I ordered a mango dragon fruit refresher with no water because well I like it strong and it's 8 am and I'm going to work and the manager didn't fill it up all the way I guess to be stingy? I love Starbucks coffee in general, but what makes the company great is their understanding of food allergies. I have a milk allergy, so asking for soy and letting the barista know I have a dairy allergy is usually fairly easy. At this location, not at all. After I told them to use soy and a clean blender, I watched them pour the soy milk right into the blender just used for regular milk. All the while, the baristas were joking and moving at a slow pace. I won't be returning to this place. read more

What can I say about Starbucks? Very much and very little for me. I came here to hang out for an hour or so since I had time to kill. I got a Hot Chocolate and since it's not hard to make, it came out almost immediately. The baristas were good, they weren't the friendliest, but they seemed knowledgeable as they were helping other customers figure out what they wanted to drink. And one of the girls was nice enough to an old man who didn't know what kind of tea he wanted. I was lucky enough to show up when I did because soon after there was a line almost out the door of people coming in to get coffee. As for the coffee, Starbucks is a Starbucks where ever you go. The reason I gave this location two stars was because of the service. I've only been here once, so I say this knowing it is not the entire staff, but during my experience I found the baristas to be pretty rude. They didn't seem to care about the customer and were having more fun joking with each other behind the bar. Honestly, I will probably go down the road to the next Starbucks instead of coming here again. As a side note, the chocolate chip banana bread is not worth your money. Hahahaha Seriously, this Starbucks location is a bit smaller than most but it does get the job done. On the times I've visited and seen a line out the door, it's never discouraged me or turned me away. The staff are friendly and very very efficient. So efficient they'll quickly whittle down a long line until you're standing face to face with one of their friendly staff, placing your order. Next order of super important info about this location: There's only a single bathroom. That's it; one single room, one single toilet to be used by both sexes. On the bright side for any parents with 'lil monkeys, this bathroom has a changing table. It's tucked away in the far recess of this Starbucks around an akward angular turn, but yep...there is a bathroom. As my buddy Donald P mentioned, some of the baristas/staff are high energy happy beings that are eager to get your Venti order of triple shot no-foam whole milk latte with just a sprinkle of nutmeg and no whip cream...perfect. I'll stop into this location when I'm not near my usual Starbucks location and will happily order a blueberry scone and a simple skim latte. Why? 'Cause that's how I roll son...like a coffee gangsta hellbent on getting his caffeine fix. :-) Way to go little Starbucks! I love this Starbucks! It's a small store but is clean, makes a great soy latte every time, and almost every table has its own power outlet nearby. I haven't used the store's WiFi so can't comment on that but the power outlet is very helpful when I have to use or charge my electronic devices. The floor and bathroom are always clean and well maintained. One day, I studied for several hours here and saw the employees were cleaning up the bathroom every half an hour or so. When I entered the establishment it was around 9:30am on a Saturday morning, granted busy, but isn't every Starbucks around this time? It was as if they were all trying to move at a fast pace but were so inefficient that they in fact slowed each other down. Once my Cold Brew (yup a simple pour from the pitcher or draft drink) was up after about 10 minutes of waiting, some other customer unknowingly tried to grab my drink because they slid my drink to him and didn't read the name on the cup! The very very tall barista is friendly towards customers and makes your drinks very quickly, the manager with the black apron can kind of be intimidating at times. Love this place! I probably come here once or twice a day and the PEOPLE ARE AWESOME! They are SO NICE! They even remember my name! That's what makes me come here so often instead of making stuff at home! If you ask them to fix your drink they do it in a heartbeat! They always look happy and joke with the customers which adds to the pleasant atmosphere. They ask how you are and how your doing. They really make sure you know, they care. And you just can't beat that! Every year is send Starbucks gift cards to people as Christmas gifts because I want them to have the same experience that I have.
