One of my favorite cafes close to home. I always get one of the iced signature lattes and they don't disappoint. I usually get the Irish Cream Brulee Latte or the Caramel Haze because I love the cold foam.Reasonably priced compared to getting coffee from a well known chain. Boba drinks are also fairly decent too and the tapioca topping tastes fresh. Food price seems a little pricey for breakfast. The interior inside is very cozy and well decorated with plenty of seating. I've only ever came during the mornings and there usually aren't a lot of people here. Friendly and fast service this is a spot I keep coming back to.

Java Loco is a serene, vibey cafe in Falls Church! I visited on a rainy day after touring properties with my siblings and was drawn to their extensive drink menu. The ambiance is a lovely aesthetic of exposed brick, whicker seats, and lots of green plants positioned all around the cafe. Very spacious, has plenty of outlets, and is quite quiet with classical music in the background. I could see this as a great spot to get some work done or catch up with friends and family! I got the large Matcha Seasalt Foam with Honey Boba - a semi-sweet tea with a creamy milk top. I enjoyed the light saltiness and thought the matcha was refreshing. It is oftentimes difficult for iced matcha to not be chunky, but Java Loco's was smooth and flavorful. The honey-soaked boba was tasty and a bit on the tougher side. With only a two person staff, the drinks take a bit longer to make if you want something more elaborate. However, they did a great job and it's evident they took their time. This boba is a bit on the pricey side, but it is worth visiting for the ambiance. If I'm ever back in the area, I'm intrigued to try their coffee and sandwiches. Overall, a fun visit to a local Falls Church spot!

Got a Viet coffee per everyone's recommendation with a lox for breakfast. The Viet coffee was a bit on the heavier side which I'm not totally used to. The food and drink was good, but nothing to write home about. The everything bagel that the lox came on was soft, wasn't very flavorful but the cured salmon was just fine. Again, it was good but nothing special. Great ambiance and friendly staff - I always appreciate a shop that knows their manners! Kudos to management for making this a priority. Glad I swung by but don't think I will go out of my way to come here in the future.

Had a matcha latte - it was PIPPING hot for the first 20 minutes, but tasted pretty standard. This cafe has plenty of seating, good wifi, and light music playing.

For my study sesh at the library tried the Vietnamese iced coffee with sea salt cream! The bubbles are very chewy and tasty, and I always love shaking my drink and watching the foam and drink mix! I asked for half sweet and it was no problem! Next time I will ask for extra ice and maybe 25/30% sweet.

First, please understand this rating is based on my limited experience and will certainly look forward to going back and having a broader perspective. I found the place really neat and clean - 5 star, parking is horrible with a busy trader joe's next door (probably why it's the 3rd coffee place in this location) - 1star, very cool menu with some neat sounding breakfast/sandwich options (though no food this trip for me), service was friendly and efficient - 4 stars, the lavender latte was disappointing (maybe that's on me, but not at all as good as others I have had elsewhere) - 2 stars. Let's see what the next trip provides, but it won't be during peak times because parking is stressful!

Nice place to grab a snack and get some coffee or shakes. Very homey feel to this place and I wouldn't mind studying here. Lots of food choices ranging from sandwiches to pastries.

Walking into this shop is like a breath of fresh air! There is so much natural light, it feels homey with a touch of modern, and is very inviting. They have a good sized menu for a coffee/tea shop, offering both breakfast and lunch options! I got their sausage egg and cheese on a croissant (and added tomato bc I simply felt like it) along with a caramel macchiato. I was definitely pleased! Reasonably priced and good quality food+coffee! They have plenty of tables with seats, and also have comfortable leather lounge chairs. Sadly it was not busy when I was there, so go give them some business! You won't regret it!

The music was calming, the beautiful scenery and the space was a large space, way bigger than I thought! We had Diego as our waiter and staff and he's knowledgable, provide great recommendations and also helped us out with many of our requests! Now comes the food: We got a full table of delicious food. 1. The Lorraine quiche : Very crunchy outside and soft and hot with delicious filling inside. I am not a quiche girl but I deff love their quiche. 2. The trios empanahas : i am a true empanada fan and their beef empanas and the sauce mix so well together. 3. The prosciutto pizza was HUGE. Deff can feed 4 people , their crust was crispy and the pizza was not too thick so you don't get bored eating it. 4. The banana foster french toast... HEAVEN. the banana was perfectly camelize and the strawberries and berries was the perfect mix fruit with it and the portion was also huge. 5. Tres les ches Pancakes was hot, crispy but also soft and honestly my FAV out of all the dishes. 6. Wild Salmon and charred peach was an interesting salad. The salmon was cooked to perfection, still moist but a lil crunch outside and large piece . The salad dressing was perfect with it. I would love to eat this one everyday. 7. My first time for the grits. Shrimp and grits was delicious. The portion is large and shrimp was paired perfectly with the grits. I think frits will now be on my daily rotation breakfast thanks to Godfrey. 8. We got a hot matcha because we love matcha and it was delicious! Very creamy and the matcha tasted ceremonial. 9. We also got the blue ridge sandwich, it had delicious camelized onion and based on Diego's suggestion, we switched it out for the sourdough and it was delicious. Sandwich was filled inside. We asked to sit outside for lunch and brunch but you could also sit inside for cafe items like croissant , muffin and coffee. They also have rooms upstairs for big parties that can be reserved through open table. Overall, the experience was amazing and I would not be able to top this birthday brunch anytime soon!

Went for restaurant week, and had a great selection of peach toast, rigatoni with bone marrow, pork steak, and desert. The prix fix also came with the miso sourdough focaccia with honey butter. Our favorite was the peach toast, believe it or not. The fresh peaches were plentiful over the cheesy creamy spread, and the combo was just delicious. The rigatoni was very al dente (which I liked, hubby hated), and had a unique flavor, a bit on the sweeter side. The bone marrow was brought to the table for you to scrape into your pasta, changing the flavor profile a bit. I always love bone marrow so I thought the add on was a fair price. Overall I liked it but it wasn't something I'd come back for. The Berkshire pork steak was really good. My first bite ate like a steak, and was tender, moist and delicious. The sauce it came with was nice. The potato puree was decent, and the broccolini had a strong charred flavor. Everything on this plate was a small portion size, but all tasted good. The chimichurri sauce though, I didn't care for. The desert was mixed. Liked the peach cobbler, but wished there were more cobbler. The chocolate cake was the biggest disappointment. It was dry, and didn't taste very good. The ice cream that came with it was good though. Overall, Ellie bird is a great place to dine, It's worth coming trying.

Service: First, I have to call out the service. It was fantastic and the manager was wonderful. When we walked in, the manager showed us the menu, gave recommendations on what to get (get the breakfast plate and hot egg plate), said no pressure, and introduced us to the woman working the cash register who also brought us our food. He later sent us two baklava pieces after we finished our meal. We were beyond surprised and let me say...they were delicious. He was so nice, the vibes of the restaurant were so friendly and it was a welcoming atmosphere. Food: We got the breakfast plate and hot egg plate which was recommended and is the best deal. For the egg plate I got the menemen (tomatoes and peppers with eggs) which was so good. I don't like cooked tomatoes, so I am not sure why I like this or how they make it, but it is delicious and not super tomatoey. The breakfast plate comes with 2 pita, dips, tomato, cucumber. We also got the Turkish Sausage eggs which are great and have slim cut pieces of sausage in them. We also got 2 simits, 2 boreks and 2 teas. The baklava was outstanding! We tried what I think was the regular which had a floral tone to it, the chocolate and the tahini. The tahini was my favorite by far - I had never tasted anything like it. Each piece is $2 and affordable. Seating: There is indoor and outdoor seating. I believe there may have been 8 tables inside? It is set up well in that you can make the tables smaller or bigger. Square and round tables. Good for groups larger than 4. Outdoor seating has a ton of tables and was in the shade when we were there. Parking: Super easy.
