Longest wait I've had in a long time for one coffee drink. I ordered a Frappuccino and the drink was good- my issue is the ridiculous wait experience. This was not a typical peak hours busy time. Upon entering the store there was a line of maybe 4 people, two ordering and two waiting. The line waiting after ordering got bigger and bigger. The baristas were obviously working hard to keep up, but I think a flaw in their system is the online ordering combined with drive thru, which appeared to be the main priorities to make first, then deal with the line of orders inside the actual cafe. The result was me (and I'm sure others) feeling they were being cut in line for their orders as people walked in and out for their online ones and over and over again feeling "this next order MUST be mine." Thank your Starbucks for reminding me to get coffee at non-chains elsewhere. read more

So we pulled up just before closing in a full size van with 11 people ordering 2-3 items per piece. The order taker remained upbeat and kept chuckling as we continued sending our massive order. Midway through the order she warned us that they did not have cup carriers--no issue as we had everyone who wanted stuff in the van. She flagged a few items that were out of stock, suggested alternatives, then read back our order. Every item in the $60+ was correctly made and delivered. Boom! read more

When you show up at 1:40 and they close at 2, not allowed to go inside or order on line (which would have made the line move way faster) and they turn you away at exactly 2:00 pm....like 13 cars, that is ridiculous. At least send an employee out at 2 and tell those cars after 2 they are closed, but all cars in line before 2 should be served. I wasn't able to even get my drink before work....not the end of the world but definitely poor customer service. Than for corporate to offer me $5 when my drink alone is $9 is ridiculous. Keep the $5 honestly. Altho I will say every other Starbuck is FABULUOS, NEVER had any problems. read more

Let me just start by saying I was a shift leader, a learning coach and a Coffee/tea master all through college when I worked at Starbucks. You have a standard to live up to while you work there, be kind and do your job the best that you can. It was my birthday so I made a point to go to a Starbucks and get my birthday treat! You can see on my app that it is my birthday when I'm at the register. I get the same drink at the Portland Starbucks every.single.time and I was told they could make my green tea LATTE in the largest size. They said it was against policy to make a tea that large. I'm confused because I get it every time and have never been told this and I pay the price of a latte since my drink is a latte NOT a tea. So why on my birthday was I told no by the girl and the register? What ever just give me a venti then. I ordered my food and went to pay. I had a 100 dollar bill and nothing else. There is no sign out saying they cannot except that large of a bills. I was told they if I used a 100 dollar bill I'd get back 5's and 1's, I said that was fine. The girl at the register called over the shift leader again and she told me that Id get back small bills. Again I said that's okay, that's when I was told they don't keep that much change in the drawer. I know this is a lie since I used to send the money to the bank and also set the drawers up for the next shift. In the end my green tea latte was made wrong, I didn't get the size I really would've liked and I left really unhappy. Great way to kick off my 30th. Taking a break from Starbucks altogether until they start hiring partners as they used to. read more

So two days ago three younger people working were joking about how they should be like McDonald's and fake that the blenders are broken because they had too many Frappuccino's to make. Two days later the blenders are mysteriously "broken". So after standing there for quite a while waiting for my Frappuccino's to be made someone actually acknowledges me and tells me that their blender is broken even though one of the employees had just used it. It's always something with this Starbucks, my drinks are never made correctly. It's a shame that a place doesn't value customers when they charge over $5.00 for a coffee. read more

Ugh, this is NOT my favorite Starbucks. It is almost always crazy in here, with very little organization. People cut in front of people because there is no real line delineated. Everyone seems to be rushing around and confused. They frequently run out of the cold brew, which is frustrating for me as that is the only thing I usually get here aside from tea. I would never come to this location to do work or meet a friend as it is just very hectic and not at all relaxing. The drive thru line is odd as well, as it blocks in some cars who are parked in the back to go inside. So, if they want to leave, you need to move your car somehow for them to leave, or they need to wait. They also take FOREVER to make your order. I am always ordering for just myself, as are most people in the drive thru, and they take what seems like an eternity to get us through the line. As one reviewer stated "quite possibly the slowest Starbucks in the world," and I concur. I feel if this store were just a little bit larger, it would be a whole lot better. However, it has always been a very lack luster experience and a location I actively avoid, even though it is the closest to me geographically. read more

This isn't exactly the best Starbucks I've been to! I'd go here specifically for a last resort. Before you enter the area. You see that there is not at all any exterior decorations... Just an arch. Sorry. No neat Starbucks wallpaper. Just a tan. Plain one. And when you enter the area. you see the crowded... Just CROWDED place full of people! But the seating is already pretty cramped. With very few places to sit. And if you want to know how nice the staff is . When were up for our order. The staff was chatting with another waitress all the time! When we finally got a chance to order. The waitress was hardly smiling. And when we ordered. She said that's not how we order. Okay... Great... We tried again. It worked. Phew. The only positive is that you can get your drink through the booths. And not sit and wait for it. So we had the meal. It clearly wasn't very well made! It tasted weak and not good! Overall. Almost every time I come to this location I order a drink on the menu, only to wait 10-20 minutes to be told they "don't have that drink right now" If you are out, something is broken, discontinued, no problem. Horrible service this morning. I get the long line at the drive through, not asking for special service. I did my 30 minutes in line...they gave me the wrong drink. Not able to go inside for health reasons, waited 30 minutes happily for favorite drinks, drove 15 min home, one of the drinks was wrong, started heading back, called the store with a heads up request in which I very reasonably asked to not have to wait in line another 30 minutes given in house error and waiting's potential effect on the rest of the order already in hand, asked for someone to simply meet me at the door to COVID safely rectify the incorrect order without any more added inconvenience to me, a regular and loyal customer, was rudely refused, when questioned, I was rudely treated and hung up on. Called back. Rudely treated again, repeat at least 4 times, then no more answered calls. Henry at Starbucks is a very mean, unprofessional, rude and aggressive person who should not be allowed to work with the public in any capacity. He clearly enjoyed bringing me to tears. I have now submitted an extremely detailed complaint to Starbucks corporate. I will update as things progress. So hurt and disappointed especially and in particularly by this crew and Henry himself, who until today has always been a nice enough person to deal with. I feel attacked. First world probs I know, but come on, things basically suck for everyone right now. It's just not ok to treat anyone like that, especially when you are being paid to serve a clientele with a certain level of competence and kindness. That's how you earn the probably hundreds of dollars in tips I have paid you and your fellow employees at this Starbucks over the last several years. It was business for the first three attempts via phone call to get this situation resolved. After the 4th and 5th calls both resulting in my being hung up on for no reason other than your employee's apparent narcissistic discontent, I gave up and went to a corporate level detailed complaint. Worst Starbucks I've been to except in Greece. Since it has a drive up, I've learnt to order at the drive through and then go in and sit down. It's twice as fast and 95% accurate. The counter is usually served by slow incompetent people. They forget your order, they bring it to the drive through window and let it sit, they often stand and chit chat while customers wait. One time I saw two employees having a good ole fashion argument - loudly. If I didn't live nearby and love the coffee, I'd go anywhere (well besides DD) else. The new manager hopefully can clean house and turn this place around. Out of their control is: the place is way to small for the traffic it gets. Plus the desperate housewives of Falmouth/Cumberland sit around for hours hogging up seats. They need to go volunteer somewhere and do something meaningful with themselves!! read more

This Starbucks is over-staffed and underperforming. On 2 different occasions over the course of 3 days we had to beg for our previously paid for food ... waiting up to 20 minutes for a classic oatmeal or warmed scone. Employees were chit chatting, not doing their work. We weren't the only customers still waiting for warmed food. The classic oatmeal arrived without a spoon, with honey and brown sugar and raisin mixture. What happened to the nuts? We will not return to this underperforming location. Ever. read more

This is the worst Starbucks I've ever had the displeasure of setting foot in. But, its the only option in this town other than Dunkin Donuts so believe me, the below review is informed by a lot of experience. However, no more. The staff is RIDICULOUSLY slow. and the customer service is non existent. The staff are inefficient, lazy and occasionally rude. This wasn't always the case I believe but it certainly has been for the past year and doesn't look like it will change. Overall, it seems like they are rudderless and without a manager enforcing even basic standards of operation. Feels like inmates running the asylum. The staff regularly gaffs on your order in addition to the long wait time for even regular pump coffee. This Starbucks provides a truly substandard experience. Hell, I wouldn't mind the wait and the price if on the weekend and the coffee was exceptional but its not. And it is certainly not acceptable to be held up during the work week and subjected to repeated mistakes and bad service. read more

Of course the coffee is great, but it is the service that makes this place stand out. Management of this store has done a very good job of hiring the right people and training them the right way. Service is always quick, pleasant and accurate, but I drink black coffee... Ha. There are regular customers that add to the character and atmosphere and help give this shop a nice small-town feel.. There is out door seating available. It is very nice, but could use an awning to extend the season... Over all a great experience, every time. read more

The labels might as well not be printed because it doesn't seem like they look at them. I don't know why previous reviews wee so bad. I've been there three times in the last two months, and the service has been excellent.

I work down the street from this location and go there quite often. It's staffed by employees who act as if it's their first day at the job and who are as easily distracted as my golden doodle. Orders are slow to be completed and probably every other visit requires me to remind an employee that I would actually like a latte in exchange for the $4 I just forked over. One time, the woman took my order, then just walked away instead of getting the plain coffee I ordered. I had to flag down someone else, explain that I needed my coffee, and was so obviously annoyed that he tried to give it to me for free except I'd already paid. It's not rocket science; it's a coffee franchise. I don't understand why this location is always so frustrating. read more

This might be the slowest Starbucks ever. It pains me to write a two star review and honestly, I'm being generous. The service could not be any slower. You would think they would be quick given that they have so many people working, but no, they are not. I don't even drink coffee anymore so the fact that it took about 15 minutes to get a tea, my husband's mocha, and a chai for my mother in-law is ridiculous....especially since it wasn't that busy. I used to be a Starbucks groupie, but if this had been my home Starbucks, I would have quit the addiction about a decade ago. I just had the worst service at this Starbucks. The young woman who served me was irritated that I wanted dark roast iced coffee. All she had to do was take some dark roast coffee and pour it over ice. Also, I had asked for whipped cream, which she forgot and had an even worse attitude when I, very nicely I might add!, asked for it. I go to Starbucks often, but not to this one again! read more
