This is an example of why Starbucks needs some competition. The lively, clean, energetic, atmosphere and friendly greetings have been long gone from many Starbucks I have visited in the past year. This is the nearest starbucks to my house and ends up being the one I go to the most since it's always on the way, however I am completely frustrated with this starbucks. Every single time I attend this starbucks I end up having to get out my car if I went through the drive thru or go back to the counter to let them know that my drink is made wrong. Even when they try to fix it, something is always off whether they don't put the same amount of espresso or put random ingredients inside like splenda. I have had friends and family visit and constantly hear back feedback. Management does not seem to care about its problems and now I definitely will not be visiting this store and will warn anyone who is interested in visiting. read more

Super disappointed in my experience today! I decided to go into the actual place instead of going through the drive thru and it has literally taken almost 30 min to receive two iced teas! I really hate leaving bad reviews for any business. This location has really let me down at least the last 5 times I've been. It's unfortunate because it's the closest to my house, BUT this will be my last visit for sure. Every time I go, my coffee drink seems to be pure milk with a dash of coffee. These drinks aren't inexpensive and I definitely don't pay $5 for a cup of milk when I have that at home. I've been to other local Starbucks and this is the ONLY one that makes my coffees like this. Came here around 3pm on a Friday. It looked somewhat busy with ppl waiting for their drinks and in line too. Ten mins after ordering my caramel frap I was still standing around waiting while others who came before me were waiting. One customer complained for his drink and no one knew where his order was. (he has been waiting for 20 mins). That's when I realized they were screwing up all orders other than the drive thru orders. While waiting for my drink three of the employees were just standing around chatting and helping 1 guy change trash bags..... In the end i got fed up and asked for my money back and left. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a cheery voice who enthusiastically agreed with our order, much to our delight! When we reached the window, we learned that the name of this lovely soul was Junior. He was so incredibly kind for it being so early in the morning. He even offered us an extra macchiato that had been made on accident. Time management at this location is absolutely horrible. This is not some airport Starbucks or New York location with high foot traffic. I've been to so many Starbucks throughout California & Nevada and have yet to find piss poor service until I came to this location. I came to pick up an order & it took forever! Many people stood in the lobby waiting on drinks who came well after me, were serviced & on there way after I stood waiting. I communicated with one of the baristas more than once during my wait. She was smug and unhelpful. I was finally given half of my order. I told her items were missing. No apology, no nothing. So I waited some more, no acknowledgement from her at all as she saw me waiting in front of her. I finally asked to speak to a manager. However, she began bagging the extra items after she spoke with someone who I assume was the manager, handed me the food and asked if I still wanted to speak to a manager with a smirk on her face (smart ass) . I declined as I had to get the items to a customer. This is probably one of the rudest encounters I've ever had at any restaurant. I'll be contacting their corporate office today & discuss my concerns, because it's quite obvious that these people could give a shit less! Honestly if you don't drink dairy, don't even bother going to this Starbucks. I'm a regular only because I work in the same shopping center and they have more than once poured dairy in not only my drinks but other employees that work with me. I know how important it is when someone has a restrictive diet lactose/vegan. I've literally seen employees pour milk into non dairy drinks, I know you have to look at the label before you make the drink so how does this happen so often? One of the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. The employees were so slow it was almost not believable. Long lines are sometimes normal at Starbucks but here it wasn't because they were busy, it's because they were too busy chatting with each other... or the employee that was ordering something on his day off. I get it, you expect to run in grab your coffee and get out. This is my go to Starbucks and it's almost always busy-this is expected since it's right off the freeway. The staff does the best they can with the high volume of customers. It's pretty clear as the staff is CONSTANTLY hustling. This used to be my go-to location but for the past 6 months, I have not been able to leave this location with the complete order I came for. Want a sandwich or cake pop with your drink? They're out. Want a special holiday drink? They are missing ingredients. Want the delicious new cold foam brew? They don't have the appropriate top. On top of that, the drive-thru is constantly riddled with trash, and looks hazardous with a large electrical panel that has a broken hanging door. Hands down the SLOWEST Starbucks I have ever experienced. The drive thru is literally a 20 minute wait EVERY single time I come. I don't know if they are short staffed or the baristas are just slow but this location is in need of some desperate help. The Starbucks off of Hidden Valley Pkwy in Corona somehow manages to get their customers coffee within 1-2 minutes. Their Drive-thru is non stop. I get coffee daily during the week because it's next to my work. It's unfortunate the one next to my house sucks. I don't care too much for Coffee Beans Vanilla lattes, which is what I always get. So I'm going to go ahead and sum up my experiences in this review while I'm sitting in the drive thru. and I'll make you a deal, Starbucks on Summit, I will only deduct one star for every 5 minutes I have to sit and wait in this balls-hot drive thru line. I've been stuck behind this building for ten minutes already and I haven't ordered yet. Your drive thru line traps me like a rat. You can't see how long the line is or how slowly it's moving until you're already in line and you can't reverse back out unless you're a stunt driver or something. And I have never dared to hurl my car over the landscaping, down the hill into jack in the box's parking lot, though I'm consistently tempted to do so. And here I am again. It's 105 degrees and it's too late. It's a mistake I've made so many times. It's going to be terrible PR for you if I die here. In fact one of these days I'm going to call 911 and dangle half my body out of the car until emergency services comes to rescue me from the infinite hell that is your drive thru line. I'm still two cars from receiving my drink. I hate you so much. What are you guys doing in there? Are you break dance fighting? Are you planting, growing, processing, and roasting the beans for each individual cup of coffee yourselves? They have a drive through. Of course. Just like any other Starbucks. I prefer Coffee Bean but I'm still giving this place 4 stars for being in the middle of Los Angeles and Vegas. I needed to meet up with friends from San Jose and decided to drive by myself instead of flying. I thought how bad can it be? Bonus points for a drive through although the order confirmation monitor has been broken for God knows how long and no one has bothered to fix it. This location is right down the street from my house but I avoid it at all cost. They have subpar drinks like the Valencia orange refresher that is always full of disgusting chunks of the bitter orange peel that get stuck in the straw vs a simple orange slice. I thought it was just a fluke but it has now happened 3 times. I have also gotten breakfast sandwiches that were still cold in the middle and today received a spinach feta wrap that was completely mangled and the filling was all over the bag. Finally, there is the complete lack of professionalism. Some of the baristas are very nice but there is a manager of some sort there that is so busy talking to his female subordinates about his weekend EVERY time I go in there that we all just stand in line hearing about it too. My wife and I came here at 9:40 the Starbucks closes at 11pm we got hot/cold coconut milk moca and they where great. The workers here are nice and friendly. I would definitely come here for my coffee again. Also i heard the drive thru is a bit slow but its always better to just walk in and get your drink upfront. read more
