This has to be my least favorite location. They take the longest to get drinks even when it's not busy and they are always half assed at best if not wrong entirely. The whole point of paying the higher prices Starbucks chargers is for consistency. Today I ordered a venti iced matcha latte below is what I received... an unmixed glass of milk with matcha powder just dropped in the drink is typically green today it's white and is missing the sweetening agent that is usually in it. 9 out of 10 visits orders are like this and unfortunately this is the only Starbucks relatively near me not located inside of another store. I watched people leave this location without their coffee today because they were so busy and couldn't keep up. I myself waiting almost a half hour for one drink. I've been here multiple times and they've messed up my drink but always try to fix it. One day I ended up taking a gift card instead because it was the second drink they messed up and I was in the drive thru holding up the line. It's a convenient location but def wouldn't go if you are in a hurry. read more

This was the first time I came to this Starbucks and I had a bad experience. I placed my order on mobile, when I went inside the lady was calling all orders out and then she had put two ice coffees down and threw a pastry on the counter without calling a name. Happened to be my order. I order a second pastry and I did want to ask right away so I just stood close to the counter and the girl did not asked me a thing. I took it upon myself to ask and she tells me that they no longer had the pastry I ordered. It would have been helpful to let me know when she threw my order on the counter. This is a great Starbucks!! Haley is the best barista aka Starbucks God you could ask for!! We confused her with our nonsense order and she totally made it four times right!! And then returned later and she totally remembered us.. The store is nice and clean and well-maintained. They are very quick about getting your order precise and out quick. Con: The construction off I 35 and Western Center is horrible. I recommend the Starbucks app if you don't already have it and preorder. This Starbucks needs to go back to their basic training and start speeding things up or get additional staff. EVERY TIME I go to this location I have waited in a line at minimum 20 minutes that wraps around the building and once your in line, forget about just leaving Because it is set up with a curb that prevents it until you are right at the order speaker. If you want a quick Starbucks coffee in the morning, or any time of day avoid this location until they get things corrected. read more

I sat in line for 16 minutes waiting on a regular coffee. Ridiculous. They know its easy to do what they do here.. There isn't another coffee shop in the area.. Not that I could find at least. I asked for a few cubes of ice in a small cup...and he stuck it all in my coffee???? It was cold before I got less than a mile down the road and was able to drink it like water. I admit I don't go to this location on a regular basis, but I would say I've been about a dozen times in the past few years. I have always found my experience to be a pleasant one. I typically go through the drive thru and have had a happy and cheerful person on the other end. I've always had a correct great tasting beverage and always a smile and a "have a great day" from the server. This is fairly new Starbucks so I've given it plenty of opportunity to redeem themselves to me....and they have not. The drinks are bad. I don't think they follow the book at all. I always get the same drink and it's consistently good at all my other Starbucks....but this one is always bad. And the people are annoying. When did they start telling you everyone who is working that day? I don't care! I go through the drive thru with some insane person on the other end...that gives about a minute introduction before I can ever order....."Welcome to Starbucks this is Tootsie and I'm here with Tom Dick Harry and Maude...can we make a pumpkin spice latte today???" I've been coming to this particular Starbucks location a lot lately. And the two things I can always count on is my coffee made perfectly (usually an ice blended americano with SF mocha) and an extra cheerful person at the drive thru window. The line can get a little long, but It still never takes more than 12 minutes. It's conveniently located right off the freeway, although the western center light can get a bit congested. read more

I usually go to the SB in Saginaw, but I decided to come here instead. I have been warned before of this particular location and their inefficiencies. I called 30 minutes ahead to order a coffee traveler (gallon of brewed coffee) and when I showed up they had not even started my order. I waited another 15 minutes because they hadn't started brewing more (the reason I call ahead). I was incredibly frustrated by the wait time and lack of service by this location. I'll be going back to the Saginaw location even though it makes my commute longer. I prefer to go where I have waited 5 minutes or less and my traveler is almost ready to go. read more

I placed an online mobile order with prep time saying 3-8 mins. I arrived 9-10 afterwards. I get there and my drink is not even steaming at the slightest but is Luke warm, my pastries part of the order was given to another gentleman so mine was not ready then I was handed a bag with the correct labeling on it but with the complete inaccurate order. And once again I was let down because now since giving my correct order to someone else I only was able to receive half. This further caused a delay as I was made to go stand back in line to have them to correct an issue that was their mistake. I also had to request my drink be rewarmed. All of this took approximately 20 minutes after my arrival for an order that was supposed to been completed already. read more

I go to this Starbucks since it's by my job, oh but today. I ordered ahead and had to wait 5 mins. Now the wait was not the problem. The issue was another women walked in got in front of me and without hesitation the guy (because the female knew I was next) had asked her, her name for her order. I said I was next 3 times, but he still handed her, her items. She walked out, then asked me my name. I said I was next and he was like oh... He didn't say sorry or nothing. This is by far the slowest service I have encountered at a Starbucks. I use the drive through and the inside always seems chaotic. Several times I have received my order at the windowed, made payment, all with out exchanging a single word. The staff seems ill equipped and ill trained. read more

Over the past year they have completely changed the staff and hired some scar age employees that are nothing compared to the staff of a year ago. You expect the very best when you show up to a Starbucks, especially when you frequent them several times per week. This location is lacking in both efficiency and customer service. I have sat in drive-thru here at non-peak times of day for 15 minutes or longer several times, and the employees don't bother to say hello or thanks, simply grab your card- hand your drink out and close the window. I have started using another location even though it is further from my house but each time I stop in here I'm disappointed. read more

I only write reviews when I notice the same bad behaviors from the same location 2-3 + times! Ive tried this Starbucks a few times now, getting the same thing: a tall cold brew in a grande cup (so that there is more ice) , 8 pumps of vanilla (sometimes I add 1 pump of chai but there is no point in even asking because It never tastes like they put it in there) and lite soy milk. I never get the amount of pumps I ask for, I have always received it with light ice and the straw was already prepped in my cup which makes me cringe because it is a HEALTH CODE VIOLATION and just because everyone around me is sick doesn't mean I want to be like everyone else around me! Twice now I have left this location to get a remake at a different Starbucks and say the same exact thing! It is always made elsewhere better than this location makes it! I taste the spice of the chai, the vanilla pumps are applied correctly because it masks the bitterness of the cold brew, they fill it with ice to the top so that one sip is instantly refreshing and I leave satisfied. Everyone here seems friendly and maybe the way I ask for it is just complicated? but I'd rather waste my gas than waste my breath to get my morning coffee made correctly! read more
