I've lived in this area for over ten years and I've never tried this place. I now see why…read more I went in trying to get a matcha for me and a tea for my sister. The ginger lemon tea: I asked several times does it have caffeine in it. One employee said no and the other said check the menus. Upon checking the menu, it did not say. They still could not provide me with an answer as to if it had caffeine. After making my tea and pastry I waited an additional ten minutes for my matcha, the person making it was socializing, checking out a new item for their bathroom and leisurely making my matcha. After about 8 minutes he finally looked at me and asked was I waiting for something. Matcha: the matcha was not great, it had a cleaning solution taste to it. That's pretty much all I can say. Coffee cake: the coffee cake was good but it didn't say anything about having a filling in it. And it was filled with some brown filling. And I'm not a fan of fillings in pastries.

That oil based concoction housed a tasty mix of fruit and granola that topped a silky base of pureed Acai berries. Fresh, refreshing, and replenishing. Your container of health can be topped with such selections as almond or peanut butter, and honey. It makes for a satisfying cornucopia of goodness. The bowl would be perfect if it were served in a paper canister rather than a plastic one. It seems counter-productive that eating healthy is being thwarted by the use of chemical based products. I'm not a hippie protesting lunatic. Quite the contrary. I really only eat healthy when I'm visiting my daughter. She inspires me to do so. So it seems to me that if eating healthy is the right thing to do, shouldn't it be done full measure? Shouldn't healthy food be served healthy? Soapbox relinquished, I've stepped down from that lofty perch. Go to Honest Coffee and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. Eat, drink, and be happy. Quick Tip: Don't be dissuaded by the seemingly high price. Good taste and good fun are worth the price of admission. The matinee of life is viewed through eyes of hope.
