Commonly the experience is not great at this location due to the amount of people attempting to place orders all at the same time. I have not necessarily had an issue with the quality of their food and drinks, but I can say that it is definitely someplace to avoid due to the amount of traffic that is flowing through it. read more

This location has served me well with fast and courteous service and got my order correct each time. I've not used their drive though, but I have no doubt it's just as good as going inside. I visited this location on Sunday. I placed an online order for pickup at the Cox Road location. Only a portion of my order was ready so I stood near the pickup section. I was waiting beside one lady that arrived before me and the person that appeared to be a manager (relatively short guy, with gauges, and black hair) rushed over to ask what she was waiting for and her name. He then immediately attended to her concern. Another lady arrived after me...and stood in close proximity, he again rushed to her aid. Not once did he address me or attempt to assist. Ironically I was the only black person in this ordeal which made me feel a particular type of way. I was black and invisible to him. I would hate to think that Starbucks is employing this type of person. I have been to this location several times and I usually go to the drive through...the young ladies are always pleasant and lovely to deal with, but after Sunday I'll definitely avoid this location. read more

This is an okay stop. I can a few weeks ago with my business partner and it was okay. From what I could tell the drive through was moving well - but the inside was slow. We waited 20+ minutes for 2 coffee's. The parking-lot might be the worst design I've seen. My business partner (who drives a truck) had to park next door because there lanes and parking spaces were so small. The service was low compared to most Starbucks. The atmosphere inside was hectic due to there being maybe 15 seats. Whoever designed this whole thing needs to look at the map again. read more

Cashier wonderful - informed me it will be a little wait due to the drinks in front of me. No worries! My drink was done quickly however I had to wait 30 min for my bread. When I went to ask for a refund it when a guy came over with my bread. I asked for it to be heated. It was NOT. The cashier I asked for a refund was not understanding and never smiled or apologized for the wait. They are putting precedence on the drive thru and not the customers who come in. At approximately noon, driving up, the drive thru was looped around the building. I got the only open parking spot & went in. There were at least 6 employees and they could not keep up with the demand. Drive thru definitely took priority as the person on the inside register was frantically trying to restock ice & supplies. It was messy and felt unclean. The bathrooms lacked toilet paper. My two stars is for my basic drink order being correct, which saved my sanity as I was so annoyed by the atmosphere & wait, my extra hot latte was the perfect temperature. Lousy service... Ordered 20 minutes ahead of time with a quote of 10-13 minutes prep. Was told my drink was not ready when I arrived and I should pull up. After 10 minutes and 4 cars behind me all getting their orders, I went inside. Then they said they never got my order. I was apparently never going to get it, since the person who told me to pull up was now in the customer area apparently finished with her shift. Then I found my order made and sitting on the counter!! The original employee gave me 2 lectures -- one about how I was supposed to tell them at the order mic/speaker that I had an online order, because they don't even make them ahead of time! Then a 2nd lecture about how I gave my last name instead of first, and last names don't "pop up". ?? The app didn't ask me for my name, it already knows it. She didn't ask for my first name. I am SO happy that this location has a drive-thru! It was truly a God-send on a recent trip down south, on a early 6:15 AM Tuesday morning. Thankfully when I pulled up, there was only one car in front of me. I placed my order of a sausage, cheddar & egg sandwich & a venti vanilla macchiato. Elliott (at barista/drive-thru employee) was so friendly, as we chatted while I waited for my order. He noticed I was pretty dressed up & asked why I was out & about so early dressed up...I told him I had an very important interview for a job. He says, "good luck! I'm sure you're going to do great & land that job!" Just his nice compliment & "good luck" really made my morning. My order was perfect all around, temperature & taste. How can a business actually get slower???? I'm not proud to admit that I order here way too often. Who doesn't know that the morning coffee rush is intense? Why don't they have enough staff to cover? It should NOT take 15-20 minutes for a mobile order. Get it together Starbucks. Updated on 7/31/20: I know we have Covid at play but something weird is going on with this location. First they were closed entirely for about a week and a half which was bizarre. Now, you can't place orders via the mobile app you have to either come inside or go through the very long and super slow drive-through. I frequent this Starbucks and I wish the quality of drinks were better. Everything I've ordered from here tasted watered down. I've ordered the strawberry funnel cake frap and caramel ribbon crunch frap and both tasted like water. The breakfast sandwiches were pretty good, just a bit overpriced (in my opinion). I don't usually write bad reviews. I'm not the "I want to speak to the manager" type. I have worked in food service and as a barista so I get it. I know it gets busy. I know people call out. I know people need time to train. I know customers can be horrible. Today I'm making an exception. My daughter had some friends over for her bday party that was to start at 4 pm. They wanted to grab some Starbucks before hand and we had an hour to kill. We arrived and place our order around 3:15 ish. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. It's now 3:45. And we are still waiting. I start glancing around nervously at the cashier. I am considering just getting my money back at this point because we have people arriving in 15 min at the restaurant up the road. There are are a couple people in line ordering. I start calculating in my head which will take longest. It can't be much longer right? We stay since we are next in line. Then people who arrived after us start to get their stuff. It's now 3:55 and I'm late if I don't leave now. Slowly, three of the four drinks come out. It's now 4:10. We wait for the last one. The barista picks it up, starts it, runs to the back. Forgets about It. She makes more drinks that aren't ours. It's 4:20. I'm panicking. I've kept my cool. I ask where the drink is. They look around and start stammering about something. They don't know where the order is. They ask what it is. I don't remember and I don't care anymore. I have to go. They find his unfinished cup. They hesitate. They stammer some more. I tell them to just give him something. ANYTHING so I can get out of there. They make something for the kid. I don't know what it is but it isn't his order. I don't care. I'm finally free. It's 4:25 I get some apologies as I'm running out about how they only have one person (They had three making drinks at the same time plus many other staff doing things like sweeping behind the bar and refilling an already over flowing bean hopper. I've been watching y'all for 70 min now.), and a passive aggressive "Have a nice day!" which pushes me to the point where I'm wondering how much a bail bond would cost but I have to go because I'm now 25 min late and still have to drive up the road. I grit my teeth and leave never to return. I suggest if you need coffee and have less than 30- 70 min to secure a beverage, you go to the target location or skip Starbucks altogether and support a local shop. Go somewhere, ANYWHERE else. Also I'd like to add that we went inside the store this time because last time we went through the drive though it took about 25 min with three cars ahead of us and no where to get out of line which made my daughter late for work. To put into better perspective how crazy long it took today and that it's not poor time management on my part, we drove a block away, ordered food for 11 people, sat down and ate, and drove and arrived home in five min less time than it took us to get 3 iced coffees and a pink drink here today. read more

The sparkling water was warm and I had to ask for ice- which I do not prefer. The garbage was overflowing with coffee spilled everywhere- and they only had 1 container available for putting in the trash?! The other 2 were blocked for some reason. I also dislike that you cannot access straws or Splenda without waiting around for someone to notice you and hand them to you. The manager was working with new hires and seems oblivious to the problems right in front of him. The store is not clean and the atmosphere is depressing. The music is also too loud for the small Size of the store. There are not enough tables and it's not an inviting layout anymore! I just wanted to leave after 5 minutes. At other stores, like the one in Shelby NC, I am able to relax a bit and take my time- because it has a clean and lovely atmosphere with great service. Super disappointing! read more

So I've never had any problems with this Starbucks or any other starbucks really, although I do my ordering via mobile app. Though today (11/17/17), I did my first order in store, 2 drinks for my roommate and myself, nothing too complicated, easy ordering and quick transaction. My roommate got her drink fairly quickly, and I waited for a while thinking that perhaps there was a couple of drive thru orders being made. 20 minutes past and still no drink, so I walk over to the counter and let one of the baristas know that the second drink of my order hadnt been made and I had been waiting for a decent amount of time. He had quickly apologized and had let another barista know to make my drink and even upgraded the drink from a Grande to a Vent, for the inconvenience, which was awesome. I got my drink and staying for a few minutes before leaving the establishment. Standing in the parking lot I was sipping on my drink and long pieces of plastic were coming up through the straw. My roommate told me to go back inside and let them know about it, but I figured that maybe it was just a stray piece of the sleeve the cups come from so we went on home, only for there to be several more pieces come out of the drink, I didn't have all of them but I did manage to take a picture of the last couple of pieces that came through my drink. I'm don't feel that because of this one bad experience the place deserves a bad review, but I just want to let it be known that perhaps the baristas should make sure there aren't any foreign objects in the cups, it's a simple mistake and I know others would more than likely raise hell for something so small. read more

Brand new location and the only one around with the $15,000 Clover brewing machine. The staff took the time to explain the Clover to us and were quite helpful. I like the layout here because its simple and not cluttered with a bunch of racks of stuff to buy. They have a nice large meeting table near the back for groups. I do wish they would put some type of pads on the chairs because they are loud when you move them. Plus the drive thru is near the highway which is useful for you morning addicts. read more

Service is slow and inconsiderate. When you go in to pick up online orders or deliveries, the staff doesn't acknowledge you. This has happened on multiple occasions. Today, same slow and rude employees who don't acknowledge you when you come in. A girl called the name of a customer that rhymed with my delivery pickup. The actual customer and I both went to the counter and the girl behind the counter didn't do anything to help solve the confusion- she only stared and listened to us figure out that the names rhymed. She heard the name I was there for. Meanwhile, I sat down to wait. It seemd like a long wait for the amount of customers that were there so I went back up to check. Her response was, "that order has been ready for like 20 minutes". I'm sure I was waiting for 20 minutes after she heard who I was there for. I will no longer pick up at this location.
